Reborn Daughter: The Young Lady Wants to Make a Trouble

Li Xueyue wanted to escape from here. The exit was not far away, but her eyes were fixed on the scene in front of her. She wanted to vomit. Anything would be better than staying here.

The smell was painful. Blood mixed with human waste, and there was only so much she could handle.

She put her hands on her face, covering her nose and mouth. She stumbled back and nearly stepped on the tiger.

The little orange boy gave a soft threatening growl, warning her to stay away from him.

Li Xueyue took another step in the opposite direction. She planned to escape from here.

It's too late to turn back.

The low growl of Little Orange gave them away. Yu Zhen turned his head, expecting to see his friendly pet, but saw the two of them instead.

When his eyes met Li Xueyue's petrified eyes, his eyes became solemn. This is what he really looks like. If she can't stand it, she can leave.

"Little hamster, come here." Yu Zhen muttered.

Li Xueyue didn't understand this man. One minute he vowed to take her home, and the next minute he wanted her by his side. What did Yu Zhen want from her?

Before she could react, Yu Zhen reached out his hand in her direction. This was her last chance. Either take it or leave it.

Li Xueyue's eyes moved from Yuzhen's outstretched hand to her tortured family, who were shocked by her presence. They hadn't expected her to be soiled and disfigured, and yet there she stood, clean and healthy.

Li Xueyue took a step forward, then another. Yu Zhen smiled encouragingly. She hesitated to put her hand into his, but did so very reluctantly. Her eyes widened as he held her hand between his fingers and pressed a loving kiss to her nails.

"Have you eaten yet?" Yu Zhen thought. His eyes fell on the proud little orange, who seemed to be eagerly waiting for his praise.

Li Xueyue shook her head slowly. He gently pulled her closer until she stood next to his seat.

"Why not?" he asked, caressing her fingers warmly. He could sense her fear. She was almost trembling, but she didn't hold on to him for support. She was such a stubborn little thing.

"These--these people," she stammered, "are--"

"They were the ones who left you in Wuyi." Yu Zhen said coldly, his smile turning into something disgusting.

Li Xueyue swallowed hard. She knew he was smart, but she didn't think he was this smart.

"Did you find them through Wang Ling?"

Yu Zhen tilted his head. "Of course, where else can I find them?"

"You're torturing them... why?"

"You know the answer, Yangguang." Yu Zhen's angular face darkened.

Yu Zhenhe didn't need to reveal the details to her because it involved her. He didn't know about it until the water splashing incident in which the Bai family's servants paid for their lives.

Li Xueyue's face turned pale. "What do you know?" She glanced nervously at the family in front of her. "Are you doing this for me?"

"Who else can I do this for?" Yu Zhen frowned.

Yu Zhen let go of his hand and held her waist. He was worried that she would fall to the ground at any time. Maybe her stomach was not as strong as his. This was not surprising.

Li Xueyue was not used to the cruelty of war. But as a leader of his men, he was familiar with it all. In fact, this torture was completely different from the torture he used on war criminals.

Li Xueyue felt her lips trembling. Who did she fall in love with?

Li Xueyue's body stiffened. Her eyes fell on Viscountess Mu Yihua. She didn't suffer as much as her husband, but it was hard to ignore the bruises and black circles under her eyes.

"My baby, is that you?" Viscount Mu Yihua exhaled. She was choking with emotion, and her eyes wandered over her daughter's body. "I'm glad to see that you've recovered. The Li family treats you very well, doesn't it?"

Li Xueyue herself was unable to answer her biological mother.

"Baby, come closer so mom can take a good look at you."

Mother? Li Xueyue's face turned cold. Last time, when she called Viscount Mu Yihua "mother" in front of Viscount Bai Sheng, Li Xueyue was slapped by her so-called "father".

Seeing the Viscountess like this, Li Xueyue's heart sank. Her anger towards the Bai family temporarily dispelled her fear. The crimes and abuses they committed against her emerged in violent memories.

"You've never treated me as your daughter." Li Xueyue said expressionlessly. "What makes you want to start now?"

Hearing his daughter's voice, Viscount Mu Yihua's heart broke. "I have always treated you as my daughter. I gave birth to you and breastfed you. How can I not love you?"

"I never said you didn't love me." Li Xueyue's eyes softened. "Maybe, you know you don't know. Is that why you brought it up?"

Viscount Mu Yihua's eyes were filled with tears. "I have always loved you, but it is different from the love of nature, it is still mother's love after all."

Li Xueyue was getting more and more agitated. Fear no longer held her back. Anger pushed her to take her next step.

"You can't even accept the fact that you gave birth to me," Li Xueyue pointed out. "There is no difference in love between mother and child."

"X, Xueyue, is that you?" Viscount Bai Sheng stammered, his eyes wide open, full of disbelief. "Oh, I'm so happy to see you."

"I wish I could say that." Li Xueyue said expressionlessly.

Viscount Bai Sheng was stunned when he heard her words. When had she ever been so confident? He almost cursed her.

"Dear," he said through gritted teeth. "Come, come and help your dear old father--"

"Why don't you just rot in hell?"

Bai Tianai's jaw dropped open in shock. She had never seen Bai Xueyue so confident.

Yu Zhen hid his smile and looked away. His kitten had finally found the right person with its paw. To say he felt proud was an understatement.

The abuse of her by the Bai family made Li Xueyue even more angry. Nothing could stop her today.

Li Xueyue turned her gaze to Bai Tianai. "Wow, you look great."

Bai Tian Ai glared at her. "I wish I could say the same, you woman."

Yu Zhen's mood soured. "Go on," he ordered.

The soldiers didn't need to be told twice. One man held her head and mouth in place. Another came toward her with a sharp blade.

"No, please, please don't!" Viscount Mu Yihua burst into tears. She turned to her youngest daughter, her eyes wide open and tears streaming down her face. "My baby, please make him stop, please!"

Yu Zhen raised his hand and his soldiers paused. He turned his gaze to Li Xueyue. "What do you think? Should we stop?" he asked sarcastically.

Li Xueyue blinked. Where was Viscountess Mu Yihua when Bai Xueyue begged for mercy? What was Viscountess Mu Yihua doing when Bai Xueyue was insulted and beaten by the Viscount? Where was the "motherly love" that was supposed to protect her?

Li Xueyue felt numb all over. Her heart no longer beat for them. She didn't even feel pity. The Bai family was nothing to her. They were monsters.

"Why don't we ask if he wants to stop loving you during the day?" Li Xueyue responded.

Bai Tianai’s face flushed red. She knew exactly what Li Xueyue meant. “I won’t beg for mercy from you!”

"Mercy?" Li Xueyue thought. "You should beg for mercy."

During the day, the love in my heart sank.

Viscount Bai Sheng felt like a bucket of cold water had been poured over him. This useless scum actually threatened to kill his daughter? ! He saw red. "You, you despicable boy, I should have asked your mother to abort you the day we found you!"

He smiled.

She flinched.
