"Poor thing...she was beaten so badly." The old housekeeper sighed as he looked at his young lady's miserable appearance.

Her skull was cracked, blood was running down her forehead and down her eyelids. Her entire face was covered with dark purple bruises. Her left arm and right leg were bent into strange shapes.

"She suffered a lot before she died," one of the attackers said gruffly. His voice was filled with fatigue from beating the girl for so long, but his eyes were sharp and dark.

He hadn't expected that Viscount Bai would be so harsh on his own daughter. He thought that one strike would shatter her skull. He hadn't expected that his master would let the girl die in such a painful way.

"Take her out before the master comes back." Another servant spoke up. His voice was trembling because it was his first night on the job. He didn't expect that he would kill a beautiful girl on his first day on the job.

The housekeeper sighed as he watched the servants pick up Xueyue's broken body. It was such a pity that she died so young, but he knew it had to be done.

If it was said that Viscount Bai ordered the execution of his own daughter, people would certainly criticize him. But people would judge him more for not raising the child well. If a young child was found to have killed someone under his own roof, it would cause great damage to Viscount Bai's reputation.

He said to his servants in a stern and unrepentant tone: "Mr. Bai said he would throw her deep into the jungle and let her rot."

"Yes sir," everyone said in unison.

They carried Xueyue's body out of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and into the forest. Along the way, they all complained in low voices. It was a big storm outside, so they had to drag her deep into the forest.

"Instead of going through so much trouble to bring her in, it's better to leave her at the edge of the forest. Viscount Bai won't mind." One of the men finally spoke.

The men exchanged thoughtful looks. Almost everyone here had the same idea as him. "Besides, it's raining so hard tonight that if we take her all the way to the center of the forest, we might get lost. The rain has knocked down some trees, and the roads are blocked and muddy, making it difficult to walk. "Determine which is the correct way back." Another man spoke up.

After a few seconds of contemplation, everyone nodded. "Okay, let's take her to the edge of the forest. There will be animals out at night, so if nature doesn't take her, wild beasts will."

Together, they walked toward the edge of the forest. They climbed a huge tree that had been blown down by the strong wind and threw Xue Yue's body onto the mud. The rain poured down on her face, washing away the dried blood.

Despite the painful purple marks on her face, Xueyue was still extremely beautiful. Although her skin was pale and her lips were purple, it was not enough to diminish her beauty.

"Hey, where are you going?!" one of the men shouted at the new worker who was walking back to Xueyue's body.

"It seems like something has fallen on the road. You guys go back first, I'll go look for it!" the new worker shouted.

The men were too exhausted to care about this man. He was new to the job so he hadn't formed any close bonds with the other workers.

"Anyway, it's not my problem," the workers muttered to themselves. They continued their long journey back to the estate.

At the same time, the new worker was running quickly towards Xue Yue's body. When he got there, he looked down at her scarred face. "I don't know what you did wrong... but I really feel sorry for you." He whispered to her.

"I didn't expect that I would be the one to give you the final blow..." He said with a heavy heart. This was his first time killing someone... but he was still a child.

The young man raised his head to shield his eyes from the heavy rain. He walked a few feet into the forest and plucked a huge lotus leaf. After picking up the leaf, he walked towards Xueyue's unresponsive body.

He spread the leaves on her body to protect her from the wind and rain. Because the leaves were large and thick, they formed three layers of protection on Xueyue's body.

He whispered, "Although this isn't a proper funeral, it's the least I can do for you."

After covering Xueyue's body from head to toe with lotus leaves, he left her and began his journey back to Bai Mansion.

His mother always taught him to respect women and that no matter what a person did, they should be properly buried. He has always been the obedient type, especially to hear his mom. He is a very clingy son and loves his mother very much, so he always listens to her advice.

The young worker did not realize that by placing the lotus leaf on Xueyue’s body, he had unknowingly saved her from hypothermia.
