Li Wenmin decided that instead of looking at Xueyue from a distance like a creeper, he should approach her. "I want to talk to her."

Without waiting for Li Chenyang to answer, he brushed off the grass and dirt on his training pants and left.

Li Xueyue was so immersed in archery that she didn't notice the man walking towards her. She was startled when someone tapped her right shoulder. Turning around, a broad chest came into view, and she was not surprised to see one of the twins.

The left corner of his lip curled up into a friendly smile, "Hello, my name is Li Wenmin."

Xueyue stared at the easygoing man in front of her. His features were soft and his eyes sparkled with childishness. He was very handsome, but she paid too little attention to appearance. Zheng Leiyu was one of the most beautiful men she had ever seen, but his inner ugliness overshadowed his beauty.

"Li Wenmin, you bastard, don't leave me and run away." Li Chenyang clenched his fingers into fists impatiently and roared.

"I am an illegitimate child, what are you? We were born at the same time." Li Wenmin sneered.

Xueyue was surprised to find that they looked nothing alike, but they were twins. They both had similar thick eyebrows and thin lips, but Li Chenyang's eyes were much deeper. There was a slight scar near his right eyebrow, and his cheeks were more sunken. Because his jaw was clenched in anger, it made a ticking sound, and it was sharp.

She had thought they were identical twins, not fraternal twins. On closer inspection, she saw Li Wenmin as the warm sunshine of summer. His eyes sparkled with joy and childish wonder. Li Chenyang, on the other hand, was like a cold winter wind. He acted as if nothing in the world could make him happy or entertained.

Li Wenmin was the first to notice the awkwardness of the atmosphere. He cleared his throat and clapped his hands to get their attention. "Dear, you must be Xueyue." He tapped her button nose with his slender fingers.

Xueyue didn't know what to call him. He was older than her, which meant she should show some respect, but technically they should be familiar with each other. She was worried that she would offend him by calling him by his name, so she decided to use a more respectful name: "You guessed it... Master Li."

Li Wenmin blinked in surprise. He ruffled Xueyue's hair with a friendly smile on his face. "Don't call me that anymore, you can call me Li Wenmin, or better yet, call me Brother Wen!" He pondered.

Xueyue tilted her head to one side. Has he always been so well behaved?

"In return, I'll call you Xiaoyue!" He clapped his hands wildly.

"The iceberg next to me is my younger brother, Li Chenyang. I think mom and dad have told you about us, right?"

Xueyue immediately noticed how talkative and smart Li Wenmin was. When he spoke, his hands sometimes moved, which was very lively.

"Nice to meet you," she replied hesitantly.

When Li Chenyang crossed his arms and raised his eyebrows, she glanced at the floor nervously.

Xueyue placed her right hand on top of her left hand, then moved her hand to the right side of her torso and curtsied awkwardly.

"Whatever." Li Chenyang muttered, then walked towards the tree again.

Xueyue felt her heart drop to her stomach. "Have I offended him?"

"Don't worry about my brother, he always has such a bad temper." Li Wenmin said quickly.

"Did I offend him?" Xueyue asked softly.

Li Wenmin tilted his head and saw Li Chenyang walking back towards the willow tree. He put his arm around Xueyue's shoulders and smiled. "Believe me, if you offend him, he won't let you go."

Li Chenyang took out a book from somewhere.

“We don’t have to worry about him.” Li Wenmin guided Xueyue’s attention away from the willow tree. “Instead, let’s focus on those arrows.”

Xueyue raised her eyes and looked at the arrow she had just shot.

He added: “Can you teach me how to shoot?”

Xue Yue was surprised by his request, and her eyes flew to him. "He wants a little kid like me to teach him how to shoot arrows?!" Of course, she was good at archery, but she doubted whether her skills were good enough to be a teacher. "I have never taught anyone how to shoot arrows, and I don't think I am qualified to teach you."

"Well, you won't know unless you try it!"

"Uh..." Xueyue trailed off in embarrassment. "Why is he so smart and optimistic? Should I try to be optimistic, too?

Sensing her obvious hesitation, Li Wenmin moved closer to Xueyue. He lowered his voice and whispered, "In return, I will tell you how to win Li Chenyang's heart."

Xueyue's eyes lit up when she saw the opportunity before her. She didn't want any unnecessary tension to arise between herself and the sons of Duchess Li. This would lead to unnecessary problems and conflicts, and ultimately take her further away from her goal...

After thinking for a while, a faint smile appeared on the corner of her mouth.

Li Wenmin discovered how interesting her eyes were. When she was happy, they were a deep hazel color, as rich as mahogany. Her eyes seemed to be her best feature, and years later, he finally understood why.

"Deal!" Xueyue said happily.

Li Wenmin grinned and held out his hand for her to shake. "Then it's settled." They shook hands cooperatively.
