Shancai Rebirth: My Choice

Chapter 39: Teach Her to Write Her Name

Shan Lai turned around and looked at him as if she had heard something interesting.

It was obviously her fault and she was the one who suffered, so how could he say it as a matter of course?

"Tomorrow is the weekend, you're not busy." He predicted her prediction.

Shan Lai was choked and speechless.

So she didn't refuse and nodded silently.

She took out the ingredients. Although she was not very good at cooking, she was happy to help her.

Soon, the simple three dishes and one soup were ready.

Sweet and sour spare ribs, cold shredded chicken, stir-fried eggplant with sauce, and a seaweed egg drop soup.

Shanlai was busy in the kitchen wearing a small apron, so Huaze Lei had no choice but to put the dishes in place and then go to the kitchen to serve the dishes.

The two sat down and started eating.

Looking at the food made with simple ingredients in front of you actually gives you a warm feeling.

After dinner, Shanlai cleaned up the dishes and went to the kitchen to wash them.

Unexpectedly, Hanazawa Rui also followed him into the kitchen.

"You sit outside for a while, I'll be ready soon." Shan Lai smiled and started running water and washing the dishes.

Huaze Lei frowned. Why would she do such a thing?

He took the dishcloth from her without thinking.

Shanlai was a little confused. What was this young master doing?

"Teach me how to do this." Huaze Lei looked at her, and the seriousness in his eyes didn't sound like a joke.

"I'll do it." Shan Lai looked up at the man in front of her who was much taller than her.

Huaze Lei took the opportunity to lower his head and kissed her on the lips, "Be good, teach me."

The voice is indescribably bewitching.

Shanlai's mind went blank. Did Lei just kiss her?

Never mind, maybe it was just her fantasy.

Just teach me, it’s no big deal.

Normally, she could complete something in four or five minutes by herself, but it took her almost half an hour to teach the young master.

After finally finishing washing the dishes, Shanlai took out his cell phone to check the time. It was already half past eight.

"Did you drive here?" Shan Lai suddenly asked.

"No." Hanazawa Rui spoke nonsense seriously.

Shanlai nodded for some unknown reason.

"Then I'll take you home." His mind couldn't keep up with his tongue.

She regretted it the moment she said it.

"Okay." Hanazawa Rui smiled brightly.

That’s not right. How did he get here if he wasn’t driving?

The look he gave him was filled with suspicion.

Hanazawa Rui looked at her innocently.

He certainly didn't drive his own car, that was Asi's car, wasn't it?

When you think about it this way, you’ll feel more confident.

"Now that you said so, how can I refuse your kindness?" Hanazawa Rui said "seriously".

Shan Lai smiled on the surface, but he had cursed several times in his heart.

Actually, you can refuse.

"That's right." Shan Lai agreed with him.

"It's still early. I see that your calligraphy is very beautiful. It just so happens that I know a little bit about it. I wonder if I have the honor to learn from Shanlai?" Huaze Lei said immediately.

It should be said that Shanlai felt that he was a bit overreaching.

But she couldn't refuse her senior.

So she agreed anyway.

The two walked to the table, and Shan Lai habitually began to add water and grind ink, "Lei, you write first."

Shan Lai carefully arranged the rice paper and brush for him, and then continued to grind the ink.

Hanazawa Rui first pretended to pick up a copybook from the bookshelf and started writing with a pen.

After writing for a while, he felt that he had finished writing and put down his pen.

"Shanlai, you write it."

Shanlai switched places with him and began to copy the calligraphy that Lei had taken.

"Shanlai, do you know which characters look the most beautiful?" Huaze Lei asked her while grinding ink.

Shan Lai didn't understand what she meant, and started discussing with him with a smile the Slender Gold font, which was her favorite font.

"There is a font that is also very beautiful." Huaze Lei said slowly.

Shan Lai looked at her. Was there any other font that she didn't know?

"Do you want me to teach you?"

Shanlai is a calligraphy enthusiast, and her calligraphy was taught by her father.

Dad is considered a great calligrapher, but she is just a half-baked calligrapher, who knows a little bit of everything but just can't master it.

Seeing her confused look, Hanazawa Rui didn't ask for her opinion, but turned behind her and reached out to hold her right hand.

"You must concentrate on your studies." Hanazawa Rui said in her ear, his breath tickling her cheek.

Shanlai couldn't help but shudder.

Hanazawa Rui put his arms around her, holding her hand with his right hand and replacing it with a clean piece of rice paper with his left hand.

His hands were large and bony, and could easily wrap around her hands.

After everything was ready, he held her hand and solemnly began to paint on the rice paper.

When she wrote the first stroke, Shan Lai was still a little confused about what the font was. After writing two or three more strokes, she seemed to understand.

He was going to teach her to write his name.

After writing one, Huaze Lei did not let go of her hand. He hugged her tightly, which made Shan Lai feel a little uncomfortable.

She could only say carefully and tactfully, "Are you trying to teach me how to write your name? I can read, I can write, I can write it myself."

After hearing what she said, Hanazawa Rui held her hand and paused for a moment, then continued writing as if nothing had happened.

"But I think Shanlai's handwriting is not very beautiful. I have an obligation to teach you."

He looked at the words copied a few minutes ago, then looked at his own, and resigned himself to continuing practicing with him.

He held Shanlai's hand while writing, and Shanlai kept count in his mind. He wrote a total of twenty-seven pages.

"Can we learn it another day? My hands are sore." Shan Lai finally said what he was thinking.

"Of course." He said so, but he didn't seem to want to let go of her hand yet.

Shanlai wanted to pull her hand back, but he held it tightly.

He calmly took the pen from her hand and then rubbed it for her.

Her little hands seemed so soft and boneless, and it felt surprisingly good to hold them in my hands.

After thinking that they had held each other tightly enough, Lei finally let go of her hand.

"Okay, I'll take these words as a souvenir." After saying that, Huaze Lei began to pack up the words she had written, including the ones she wrote last night.

Shan Lai was very puzzled. Why did he take the words she wrote?

Huaze Rui rolled the words into a scroll and asked her, "Do you have any ribbons or something?"

Shan Lai nodded, then went to the bedroom, picked up a ribbon and handed it to him.

She didn't notice that she was holding her headband, which caused her a lot of trouble, but that's a story for later.

When Shan Lai handed over the ribbon, Hua Ze Lei took it in his hand and took a look at it, then tied up the words and tied a beautiful bow.

"Okay, I'll take you home." Shan Lai said, then walked to the coffee table, opened the bottom drawer and took out a car key.

Hanazawa Rui's eyes followed her movements.

She changed her shoes, took the key and called Huaze Lei to come downstairs.

Hanazawa Rui remained unmoved.

Shan Lai half-jokingly said, "Don't you want to go back?"
