Shancai Rebirth: My Choice

Shanlai looked at the father in front of her in pain. This was her father, the father who raised her.

In her memory, her father had always been strong, and she had never seen him panic.

Nadel answered the phone and just as he swiped the answer button he accidentally pressed the speakerphone. Kassell's voice came out, "Nadel, grandpa passed away."

Shan Lai reached for the phone next to her and took a look. All the major headlines were reporting that Mr. Huo had passed away, and her heart skipped a beat.
