Just as they were immersed in the exploration of the ancient ruins, the sky suddenly darkened and thick clouds gathered. They decided to return to camp, but the trail became increasingly difficult to follow as a storm was coming. The mountain mist began to spread, blurring the view. They were lost in the woods, and all sense of direction seemed to be gone.

Ye Qilin tried to use navigation equipment to find the direction, but due to the influence of thick fog and storm, the equipment signal was unstable and could not provide accurate positioning. They were in trouble.

As the storm hit, they found a natural cave as a place to take shelter. The cave was cold and damp, but at least they could avoid the wind and rain outside. They lit the portable stove they brought with them and cooked some hot soup to resist the cold.

 3. Regaining Freedom

After several hours of waiting, the storm finally subsided. The fog gradually dissipated, and the sky was once again filled with the brilliance of the stars. Qin Wentian decided to lead everyone to set out again and find a way back to the camp.

They continued to move forward in the moonlight. Although the environment was still damp, they could see the path clearly. They passed through patches of woods and gradually found the landmarks back to the camp.

After some effort, they finally found the familiar path again. It was already early in the morning when they returned to the camp. Beside the campfire, Xiao Xiao, Qin Wentian and Ye Qilin hugged each other tightly, with tired but satisfied smiles on their faces.

"We are finally back." Xiaoxiao said softly, with gratitude in her eyes.

"This experience is really thrilling." Ye Qilin said with emotion, "But I feel it is very precious to be able to spend this time with you."

Qin Wentian smiled and patted their shoulders: "Yes, although our adventure is full of challenges, it is also our precious memory."

They sit down by the campfire, enjoying a homemade dinner and the warm glow of the fire, and their relationship grows stronger and their understanding of each other grows deeper as a result of this adventure.

The next morning, the sun shone through the leaves on their camp, warm and peaceful. They packed up their equipment and prepared to leave the mountains and return to the city. Although this expedition was full of difficulties, it also made them feel the beauty of life and the power of nature again.

"Although this trip had some twists and turns, it allowed us to experience unprecedented adventures." Xiaoxiao said with a smile, "We learned how to face difficulties and cherish each other's company even more."
