Ultraman's legendary journey begins in the Land of Light
Chapter 46 Battle Level
However, even though the effects of the three talents are very powerful, there are still priorities.
Obviously, "Light Mastery" and "Invincible" have higher priority than "Son of the Sun".
So Helis first chose "Invincible" among the three talents.
Then he quickly concentrated and entered the "Combat Level" panel that appeared after choosing the "Invincible" talent.
When he opened the panel, the first thing Helis saw was a neatly arranged list of skills.
★
Specium Ray:87/100
Helium Ray:1/100
Universe miracle light: 1/100
Ultra Psychic Light Arrow: 14/100
Ultra Attack Ray:1/100

Helis took a quick look and saw a list of all the light skills he had used so far.
As for the number after the name of the light skill, it should be the skill proficiency, and the numerator is the number of times the skill is used.
However, Helis's gaze then fell on the "Combat Level" at the bottom of the list, followed by a very glaring "0".
This means that Helis’ current “combat level” is level 0.
It really hurts my self-esteem!
Moreover, Helis couldn't figure out the specific mechanism of "combat level" just by relying on a few numbers.
Fortunately, my system still has basic operating guidelines.
Helis spent some time studying it and roughly understood the mechanism of "combat level".
In fact, to put it bluntly, it is similar to the skill proficiency in video games.
Helis only needs to use a skill once in battle, such as Spacium Ray, to gain a corresponding progress.
And you only need to use it 100 times, instead of times, to get some progress points, and then you can spend the progress points to increase the combat level.
However, just like "knowledge is power", the progress points required to increase each level of combat experience also increase exponentially.
也就是“战斗经验”从0级升到1级需要1点,从1级升到2级需要2点,升到3级需要4点,升到4级需要8点……以此类推,从0级升到10级就是需要1023点。
That works out to about 100,000 combat skills.
Even though it is limited to use in battle, it seems that there are not many of them.
After all, Helis had almost read 10 books, so isn’t it just 10 combat skills?
What's the difficulty?
Although Helis was a little concerned, it was obvious that the list did not only include light skills, but also skills such as "Body of Faith" that were linked to the system.
But Helis didn't find his fighting skills in the list at all.
Obviously, Helis is still very proud of his "unrestricted mixed martial arts".
However, it has not been recognized by the system at all.
Once again, Helis was beaten by the system.
Also, by the way, the effect of "combat level" is to enhance Helis's overall offensive and defensive capabilities.
That is to say, a combat level of 1 can provide Helis with a 1% global damage increase effect and a 1% global damage reduction effect.
As for what is global damage increase and global damage reduction.
Simply put, global damage increase refers to all damage caused to the enemy, whether it is a skill or a basic attack, instantaneous damage or Dot damage.
Then, global damage reduction means reducing all damage received by yourself.
However, the calculation formulas for damage increase and damage reduction at combat levels are different.
The damage increase formula is that the damage will increase by a certain percentage according to the combat level. Level 1 is 1%, and level 10 is 10%.
However, the damage reduction formula is different, it is 1-0.99^combat level.
To be specific, at combat level 1, Helis can get a global damage reduction effect of 1%, at level 10 it is 9.56%, and at level 100 it is 63.40%. In other words, the damage Helis suffers can never be reduced to 0.
Instead of the damage-increasing formula, the combat level only needs to reach level 100 to get 100% damage reduction effect, making you directly invincible.
However, in general, the damage increase and damage reduction benefits that the combat level provides to Helis are still very considerable.
Just brushing it up would tire Helis to death. What is the concept of 2 to the power of 99?
Even if Helis was exhausted to death, he still couldn't finish it!
So, Helis decisively closed the combat level panel, then returned to the attribute panel, consumed 4 talent points, learned the "Light Mastery" and "Son of the Sun" talents, and upgraded the "Weapon Master" talent to level 2.
As for why Helis did not upgrade the "Light Mastery" talent to level 2, it is because Helis's current reliance on light skills in combat is not high.
Even though Helis has awakened his own "Hellim Ray", on the one hand, the energy consumption of the light itself is too great. On the other hand, he has to use the "Shining Holy Sword" to absorb cosmic rays, convert them into his own energy through the "Shining Core", diffuse them throughout his body, and then reverse the direction of the energy flow and release it in one breath, which puts a great burden on his body.
Moreover, after consuming all the energy in the Ultra Medal, it is now difficult for Helis to cast the Helium Ray on his own.
In addition, even if "Light Mastery" is upgraded from level 1 to level 2, the improvement is actually not that big.
根据“怪兽猎手”天赋升到2级以后,增伤效果从10%提升到了12.5%来推测,“光线精通”天赋就算是升到了2级,增伤效果其实也就是从5%提升到了6.25%。
Compared to the Blue Clan, the light skills of the Silver and Red Clan are far less powerful, and the improvement is too small.
Helis might as well further increase the attack power of his lightsaber by increasing the level of the "Weapon Master" talent.
Especially now that Helis still has the "Miracle Holy Sword" in his hand, even the damage-increasing effect of the level 2 "Weapon Master" talent has only increased from 5% to 6.25%.
As for upgrading the "Monster Hunter" talent to level 3, forget it!
The consumption of talent points also increases exponentially. It takes 2 talent points to upgrade from level 3 to level 4, and the damage increase effect is increased from 12.5% to 15%, an increase of 115%/112.5%-1=2.22%. The consumption is too high and the benefit is too low, which is not cost-effective at all.
So, after allocating his potential points and talent points, Helis continued to think about his next plan.
First of all, Helis must go to Earth, Qi Fan’s hometown located in another universe, to return Qi Fan’s relics. After all, he made the promise himself.
However, Helis did not agree to Qi Fan to set off immediately after destroying the demon star Gross, so they could wait a little longer.
Therefore, Helis decided to spend some time studying the "Holy Sword of Glory" that he obtained through the power left behind by his future self or his normal self in the universe.
Then, according to the design drawings provided by the system, the "Eternal Flash" was also produced.
Helis wanted to compare the differences between the two carefully.
And maybe I can even dual wield by then!
