Harry Potter: Reunion with the Enemy

Chapter 138: Sunbathing the Moon (Part )

Tonks ancestral home.

"The wizards still haven't come up with a new plan? What are you talking about? A new plan for next week?" Teddy looked around at his companions with some dissatisfaction. He changed to a comfortable sitting position and asked while enduring the dull pain in his abdomen.

"Don't worry. Just as we promised you, you will definitely get the admission notice of the magic school and live like a normal person for decades instead of hiding like you are now." The goblin repeated again, "We goblins are trustworthy."

Teddy was cursed by an opponent during his most recent transformation into Harry's speech. He left the scene in a hurry while the crowd screamed. The werewolf companions gathered here basically did not have the qualifications to enter the magic school, which meant that they had not received systematic magic education, and the goblins also lacked the complex and detailed healing spells like wizards. Teddy could only calm down his discomfort with the potion that the goblins had bought before.

Since the accident of her grandmother, all the neighbors near Tonks' ancestral home moved away immediately. They seemed to be afraid that the werewolf next door might infect their children with his kind at any time. As early as when Nymphadora Tonks announced that she was going to marry Remus Lupin, the Tonks family became the most frequently mentioned topic in the neighborhood. Even though the couple died in the fight against Voldemort, this fact and the Order of Merlin could not stop people from talking about this marriage and the accessory of this failed marriage - Teddy Lupin.

"See, I told you that nothing good would come of hanging out with a werewolf." The bloody photo in the newspaper seemed to bring the matter to an expected end.

The case was dropped after the investigation yielded no results. The British Ministry of Magic's policy towards werewolves has always been unclear, and the classification of werewolves has been wavering between "beasts" and "humans". After the storm passed, Teddy would occasionally return to this home that already looked abandoned.

A middle-aged werewolf with a beard patted Teddy on the head. "It's okay. Leave the planning to us. You've done a great job."

Teddy looked very immature among the crowd, but his tone was very mature. "But didn't you guys even shut down Gringotts Wizarding Bank? How long will we continue the stalemate?"

The goblin on the other side smiled maliciously, "Yes, now is the beginning of the school year, and there is also the Quidditch World Cup. It is the time to withdraw money. When will wizards realize that we are also an indispensable part of the magical world?"

"Without a goblin, there is no way to open the vault door, even if the wizard staff still want to serve their companions." Another goblin kicked the stool hard.

"Didn't it mean that as long as I pretend to be the godfather, most people would soon be on our side?" Teddy had had enough of a large group of people surrounding him, with all eyes fixed on his forehead - the scar of his godfather Harry. "Now it seems that your progress is not as smooth as you imagined."

"We have been thinking about and planning this plan for a long time, but now is the best time." The goblin did not directly answer Teddy's question, but just muttered to himself, "They will not give in unless they suffer a little and bleed a little."

Teddy raised an eyebrow. “I should have said that I have no interest in infecting others. What’s the point of a little bleeding?”

The fairy paused slightly, then quickly forced a smile to cover it up. "Anyway, our goals are the same, that's all. Even if there are follow-up actions, they will be as agreed."

"You won't do it." Another ragged werewolf interrupted. "Little brat."

Several werewolves looked at each other and laughed disgustingly. "Bathe in the moonlight. Do something great."

The goblin felt a fierce light in Teddy's eyes the moment he raised his head. "What are your plans for next week?" Teddy asked.

"The plan is to continue to fight for our interests." The goblin said vaguely. "Now your most important task is to keep a close eye on your godfather and not let him wake up before we finally achieve our goal. Even if the wizards eventually find out that the speaker is a fake, the disappearance of the real savior can make them panic. All of this is beneficial to us."

"It's time to continue feeding medicine to your godfather." A werewolf reminded, "The most important things in this operation are done by you. I think you are the werewolf who deserves more respect than your father—at least that's the case in the eyes of us werewolves, hahahaha!"

"This is what a werewolf child should be like. What can you gain from helping a wizard other than fame?"

"And I don't think it's necessarily safe to put your godfather in this house. In fact, our goblin dungeons are more secure." The goblin suggested with narrowed eyes, "Even that island is less likely to be discovered than Tonks' ancestral home."

"Don't worry about it. I think he's doing well here." Teddy saw that the rest of the group were ambiguous and unwilling to reveal the details of the plan, so he turned away angrily and walked to the attic. "What you should care about is getting the wizards to pass the new bill as soon as possible."

This used to be my grandmother's bedroom.

Teddy picked up the purple medicine bottle and walked towards the bed.

Harry was obviously still trapped in an endless dream, his eyebrows were relaxed, but his body was curled up like a baby, Teddy put him in the right position, picked up the medicine bottle and poured it into his mouth. A few drops of purple potion flowed out from the corners of his mouth.

Teddy squatted down and looked carefully at Harry's face after his glasses were taken off. He had scared Harry by pretending to be his father that day, and successfully aroused Harry's guilt with his fierce words - his godfather had the ability to defeat him, including the goblins in the house at that time. As an experienced Auror, the only reason he fell was that he was unwilling to do it.

The unpleasant laughter of the werewolf downstairs and the high-pitched voice of the goblin rushed to the ears from time to time, which was annoying.

Teddy has very complicated feelings towards his godfather. Sometimes he is full of pride - it seems that everyone knows Harry's name, and he is his godfather; sometimes he is jealous - he was born different from him, even though they are both orphans, Harry is not a werewolf. What are more, there are the few warm moments left in his memory - when his grandmother Andromeda took him to Harry's house for dinner, and on Christmas Day he was able to get a small piece of cake next to a table full of Harry's friends.

But this is still not enough, not enough. Hatred seems to be something that can be learned naturally as you grow up, and the Godfather can help you a little, but only a little.

Teddy still doesn't quite understand why he agreed to cooperate with the goblins to do these things. Perhaps it was to cater to the endless malice and confusion growing in his heart, or he was used to being a marginalized person in the wizarding society and wanted to attract other people's attention.

Teddy helped Harry wipe the corners of his mouth and hurriedly left the attic. He was afraid that if he stayed here, he would just want to throw himself into the arms of this so-called relative and cry.
