Naruto hodgepodge

Chapter 70: Recruiting

It is almost the 57th year of Konoha. Naruto hired Shun to be his butler, responsible for training and doing things for him.

After failing to recruit Kisame, Uchiha Obito, who was lurking in the Hidden Mist Village, turned to other people in the Hidden Mist Village.

Deep in the Kirigakure, in an abandoned underground prison, some members of the Kirigakure were imprisoned. However, they were reduced to this place due to the suspicion and persecution of the Fourth Mizukage. In this desperate place, Uchiha Obito found Mangetsu, the legendary genius who could control seven ninja swords. He had white hair, vertical braids, sharp teeth, and a fluffy bandage wrapped around his neck. Mangetsu's face was pale, but his eyes flashed with an unyielding light. His blood disease made his body weaker and weaker, but his desire for freedom never extinguished.

"Mangetsu Kizuki, I am Uchiha Madara. I can give you a chance to be reborn, and in exchange, you must serve me." Obito's voice echoed in the dim cell.

Man Yue was stunned when she heard this, and then she smiled bitterly: "Rebirth? In this dark place, how can there be any rebirth?"

"I have a way to cure your bloodline disease and give you more powerful power." Obito slowly stretched out his hand, and in his palm, a strange white substance slowly squirmed. It was a part of White Zetsu, which possessed incredible healing and transformation abilities.

Man Yue was silent for a moment, and finally nodded. He knew that he had no way out, but this power and freedom were what he had always dreamed of.

In Man Yue's astonishment and expectation, White Zetsu's tentacles gently touched his body, and a warm and mysterious power instantly surged into his body. Pain, weakness, and all discomfort disappeared under this power. Man Yue could feel his chakra boiling, and his strength was recovering rapidly, even surpassing his previous peak state. What surprised him even more was that White Zetsu's transformation also gave him a more sophisticated control of the ninja sword and a deeper understanding of chakra.

"This... this is..." Man Yue looked at her hands in disbelief, with a new light flashing in her eyes.

"This is your new life, Mangetsu Kizuki. Now, you will work with me to change this ninja world..." Obito's voice was low and powerful, and he began his mouth-to-mouth ninjutsu.

Manzuki Hozuki became a member of Uchiha Obito's army. After that, Obito talked to Ringo Yuyuri, a crazy loli who also had a bloodline disease and liked excitement, and was also isolated during the Fourth Mizukage period. She liked to save the delicious food for last, and Obito gave her a body that could eat delicious food again. In exchange, she became Obito's subordinate. The Thunder Blade is no longer in the Hidden Mist Village, but got the Explosive Blade·Fei Mo. Finally, she recruited Kurari Kushimaru's son Kurari Kushimaru (a supporting role, don't worry about it), and got the long sword·Sewing Needle.

Although the Hikari organization is not as famous as the Akatsuki organization, it has quietly risen around the Water Country. The core members of this organization are Zabuza, Haku, Kisame, Chinano, and Fushin.

Biwa Juzo, the rebel ninja who was scared away by Might Dai during the Third Ninja World War, always had unfulfilled ambitions in his heart. His fate changed by chance when he witnessed a just action of the Light Organization during his exile. Because of the influence of Haku and Chinano, who was kind when they were young, Zabuza was leading Chinano, Kisame and others to rescue a group of innocent villagers oppressed by the tyranny of the Hidden Mist Village. Biwa Juzo had heard of Zabuza's deeds. He had killed the same candidates and assassinated the Fourth Mizukage. Zabuza was now being admired for destroying the tyranny of the Hidden Mist Village. In mutual appreciation and recognition, Biwa Juzo joined the Light Organization.

Soon after, the Light Organization welcomed four more members. The first was the Six-Tails Jinchuriki Yugao, who should have been a precious asset that was closely protected by the Hidden Mist Village, but he embarked on the road of defection due to a profound misunderstanding. It turned out that Yugao mistakenly thought that his master, who should have been the person he trusted the most, intended to betray and kill him. In despair and anger, Yugao chose to transform into a tailed beast, killed his master, and from then on he was named a traitor. At a critical moment when he was being hunted by the elite of the Hidden Mist Village, the members of the Light Organization saw the pursuers of the Hidden Mist and appeared in time to save Yugao. After all, although Yugao was a Jinchuriki, he generally did not want to use the power of the tailed beast. Yugao, who felt the sincerity of the Light Organization, joined the Light Organization.

Another new member is Ye Cang from Sand Village, a ninja with a rare Scorch Release Blood Limit. Her story is even more tragic. As an elite ninja of Sand Village, she should have been a hero of Sand Village, but because of the negotiations between the top leaders and Kirigakure, she was betrayed and ambushed by Kirigakure ninjas without any preparation. Just when she was in despair, the members of the Light Organization were like divine soldiers from heaven, pulling her back from the brink of death. Ye Cang put aside her loyalty to Sand Village and joined the Light Organization.

The last two new members are Kuroki Raiga, the first user of the ninja sword Thunder Blade, and Ranmaru, who possesses the bloodline limit of red eyes. Kuroki Raiga met Ranmaru, who possesses red eyes, on his way to escape, and took him in because he had a similar state of mind to himself. Later, he met the Light Organization, which included his old teammate Biwa Juzo, as well as two new ninja swordsmen from the Mist. After a battle, he also chose to join the Light Organization.

From then on, the power of the Light Organization grew stronger. Zabuza, Kisame, Biwa Juuzou, Yudaka, Hakura, as well as Haku, Chinano, and Fushin, their small organization has begun to take shape, but there are not many smart people in it. Instead, Chinano, who used to be the leader, and Benimaru, who joined later, are the ones who often come up with ideas.

Jūgo was once a kind-hearted child. He was born with the physique of an immortal and had a strong affinity for nature. He could automatically absorb natural energy and communicate with animals. The natural energy, mental power, and physical energy in the human body generally need to be balanced. If they absorb too much, they will lose their sanity. For example, if the immortal technique of Myōboku Mountain absorbs too much natural energy, it will turn into a frog like a toad. Jūgo often goes berserk because he can't control the absorption of natural energy. He once ran away and destroyed his own village. In order to prevent the tragedy from happening again, Jūgo lived away from people in the mountains, accompanied by animals, and lived in a cave. Orochimaru got information about Jūgo and sent Kimimaro to him.

In the dark and damp snake base, Orochimaru said to Kimimaro: "Go and bring this child back," and then gave Kimimaro some information.

Kimimaro took it, "Yes, Lord Orochimaru."

In the deep and mysterious mountains, there is an unknown cave, which is where Jūgo hides himself. A burst of rapid and firm footsteps broke the tranquility outside the cave. It was Kimimaro, who, with his unique calmness and determination, was moving step by step into the depths of the cave.

Inside the cave, Jūgo's eyes flashed with a strange light, a sign that the natural power in his body was about to get out of control. The air around him seemed to freeze, and even time became heavy. Beside him, the puppy that usually stayed with him trembled with fear, and finally broke free and fled out of the cave, leaving Jūgo alone, wandering on the edge of rage and reason.

"Don't come over here, I'll kill you!" Jūgo's voice was low and full of warning, and every word seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth, revealing his inner struggle and despair. However, Kimimaro did not retreat because of this, but his steps became more determined, as if he had already expected all this.

As the distance between the two shortened, Jūgo finally couldn't suppress the surging power in his body. "Kill, kill, kill," he roared and rushed towards Kimimaro, and his attacks contained terrifying power. Kimimaro drew out the bone sword from his back, and as agile as a ghost, he easily dodged Jūgo's violent attack, and at the critical moment, he instantly wove a complex cage to tightly bind Jūgo and make him unable to move.

"I will not be killed, because I am stronger than you." Kimimaro's voice was calm and confident, and his eyes were full of understanding and sympathy when he looked at Jūgo. He knew that Jūgo's rage was not intentional, but forced by fate. So, he slowly opened his mouth and invited Jūgo to join Orochimaru's army to pursue power and belonging together. "You are also like me, longing to be someone needed by others? In this chaotic world, we have all been alone. Come with me into the arms of Lord Orochimaru!"

When Chongwu heard this, a complex emotion flashed in his eyes. He really wanted to be understood and to find his own place, but whenever he tried to get close to the crowd, the uncontrolled power would become a gap that he could not cross.

"As long as I am here, I will stop you from losing control. Let me be your cage." Kimimaro's words were full of determination and commitment. In his own way, he showed Chougo a whole new possibility. In this world, even the loneliest souls can find the strength to rely on each other.

Jūgo's heart was deeply touched, and he felt an unprecedented warmth. From then on, Kimimaro became not only his cage, but also his spiritual support. The two walked out of the cave hand in hand and embarked on a journey to Orochimaru's base.

In the past month, Scorpion, an artist in the Akatsuki organization, not only successfully collected extremely precious materials while on an Akatsuki mission to the Sand Village, but also quietly placed several key chess pieces as his eyes in the Sand Village. One of them was the multifaceted spy Kabuto Yakushi, who was lurking in the Sand Village under the orders of Konoha and Orochimaru.

When Kabuto returned quietly, Orochimaru received the information and looked at the seal of Kabuto. With his unique understanding of the seal technique, he easily removed the complicated seal set by Scorpion. Looking at Kabuto who regained his freedom, Orochimaru's mouth curled up a deep and satisfied smile, and learned the information about Scorpion and Akatsuki.

Before, Orochimaru was particularly sensitive to the disappearance of Sodinas. This former brutal partner had plundered people from the Rain Country many times and cooperated with him in the Impure World Reincarnation experiment. His sudden disappearance made Orochimaru aware of the strange atmosphere in the Rain Country and the surrounding areas, pointing to a person named Akatsuki.

Now, the information brought back by Kabuto Yakushi and the information obtained before made Orochimaru's curiosity about the Akatsuki organization reach its peak. So, Orochimaru began a carefully planned intelligence gathering operation. He quietly hired several ronin ninja teams, quietly sneaked into the Rain Country, and began to investigate the Akatsuki organization.
