Harry Potter and the Rebirth
Chapter 65 Practice
The classroom gradually became full of people, and the sounds of noise, playfulness and fighting could be heard everywhere.
Ron poked Hermione next to him, "Why hasn't Harry come yet?" Hermione spread her hands and put on a helpless expression, "I don't know about that either."
The bell for class rang, and Professor Flitwick dragged his shorter body to the podium and stood on the stool. "Please open your books, and we will start the class now."
Ron looked at the empty desk in front of him, feeling a little embarrassed. At the same time, he was also a little worried about Harry, because Harry had never been late for class before.
"Sorry, professor, I'm late." Harry hurried to the classroom. He was so engrossed in listening to the lecture in that space that Snape noticed the time and woke him up.
Harry's face was flushed and he was panting. There was a crystal clear spot on his forehead. His emerald green eyes looked as clear as if they had been washed by water. He put one hand on the door frame and bent slightly. A black backpack was hung on his other shoulder.
"Come in, kid." Professor Flitwick did not make things difficult for Harry. He let his favorite student in with a kind look on his face.
Ron heard a sudden whisper from below, "He is worthy of being the savior. Even the teacher doesn't deduct points for them for being late." The voice was filled with some disdain and jealousy.
Ron was very unhappy after hearing this. He turned his head sharply, trying to find the person who was talking behind him.
"Here, here you go. Sorry I'm a little late." Harry walked over and sat next to Ron. Then he rummaged through his black backpack, took out a book and handed it to Ron's desk.
Ron forgot about the idea immediately after being interrupted by Harry, and turned back to open the book.
"Oh, no, thank you, good buddy." Professor Flitwick said after seeing the audience quiet down. "Open the Standard Book of Spells, Elementary, page 36. Today we are going to learn the spell of Imprisonment, which is derived from the Latin incarcero (to imprison). Its function is to shoot a rope from the tip of your wand to tie up an object."
Having said this, Professor Flitwick floated aside, turned the podium in front of him into a dummy made of the same material, and moved it not far away.
"I'll show you how to do it next."
"Quick Imprisonment!" A beam of light shot out from the tip of the professor's wand, and then turned into a thick hemp rope and tied to the dummy.
The movement was swift and the force was strong. The dummy that was attacked immediately fell to the ground with a thud.
In Harry's eyes, Professor Flitwick's head flickered first, and then a burst of light gathered in his head, and then it turned into a stream of water, from his arm to his palm, and then to the wand. Then the color of the light inside the wand changed, and then it rushed out, the light quickly gathered in the air and turned into a solid entity, and part of the light pulled and turned into a solid hemp rope, which was tied to the dummy.
For the first time, Harry understood the spellcasting process so clearly.
There was a burst of exclamations from the little wizards below, "Wow—" Professor Flitwick looked at the scene with satisfaction, "Everyone, pay attention, the spell is Quick Imprisonment. Come, read it with me."
But in the following time, Harry had to recite the spell over and over again with the young wizards who had just learned spells, and then have his pronunciation corrected.
Harry lowered his head and yawned slightly. At this time, Gryffindor's mocking voice came from his mind, "How do you feel? Are you very happy?"
Harry sighed helplessly. This kind of course was just a waste of time for him now. It wasn't that he was disrespectful to the teacher, nor was it that he was arrogant, but for someone who had been an Auror for many years, and had gone through so much at Moody's hands after years of crazy training, taking these classes now was indeed a bit...
Thinking of this, Harry decided to ask the professor for exemption so that he could have more time to learn more things he didn't know.
While Harry was distracted, the professor had already started having the students practice this spell. He asked them to work in pairs and try to cast this spell on each other.
The classroom suddenly became spacious. The stools and tables where they had just sat disappeared. The professor's podium rose to the front, and the classroom became a circular depression. The little wizards walked on the wooden floor in pairs.
Oh ~
Harry was awakened by this sudden change. He looked at Ron and Hermione who were already paired up next to him, and glanced at the little wizards around him.
"Hey, sorry, Harry, I called you just now and you didn't respond." Hermione said in a low voice.
Ron came over and patted Harry on the shoulder. "Come here and help us take a look at the gestures, tone, and posture when we cast the magic wand. What's wrong with it?"
Ron chuckled and pulled Harry over.
"Well, then you guys start." Harry walked between the two people, "Cast the spell on me first."
Ron and Hermione had no doubt that Harry could do it. Based on past records, even if Harry dozed off, he was still the best among the first-year wizards.
"Then I'll go first," Ron adjusted his mentality and was eager to try, "Quickly imprison him."
A beam of light rushed out from the tip of Ron's wand, but as the distance increased, it became thinner and smaller, and even when it reached Harry, it bent down and hit the ground in front of Harry's heels.
"Hahahahahahahahaha—" After seeing this scene, the smile shifted from Ron's face to Hermione's face. The little girl bent over with laughter, and her loud voice attracted the attention of everyone around her.
Ron's face turned the same color as his hair, and smoke came out of his ears in anger.
Harry couldn't help laughing. He tried hard to close his cracked mouth, but judging from the increasingly dark expression on Ron's face, this effort was not very effective.
"It's the Swift Confinement." Harry noticed the mistake in Ron's spell. Well, Ron scratched his head. It all felt the same to him.
"Okay, I'll try again." Ron reminded Harry in case the spell from his wand accidentally hurt Harry.
"Quick confinement."
This spell was better than the last one, but it only caused a small bright spark to fly on Harry's wizard robe, and then a rope as thin as a hair stuck to Harry's clothes.
Ron covered his face and turned his back. When he saw that other little wizards couldn't even conjure up a rope, he immediately became happy again. It seems that my talent is still good, he thought secretly in his heart.
"Let me try, Harry." Hermione called Harry and Harry nodded to indicate that he understood.
"Imprison him quickly." The little girl's voice was clear and accurate. A beam of light shot straight at Harry. Harry took a light step to the side, and the beam of light hit Ron, causing him to take a few steps forward.
"Who, who is attacking me?" He turned around and looked at Harry who was smiling at him with a smug look on his face, and the little girl who turned her head away, and gritted his teeth.
"There's still room for improvement." Harry raised his eyebrows. When he was about to say something else, Professor Flitwick came over.
