Harry Potter and the Rebirth
Chapter 40 Little Snake
Looking at his brothers running over, the smelly wind blew in his face. Ron frowned in disgust, covered his mouth and nose, stopped in front of the two men, and said, "What's going on? Didn't you go to find Harry?"
Ron suddenly found that both of them had red eyes, their expressions were particularly sad, their temperaments were decadent, their usual cheerfulness and happiness were gone, and their courage to forge ahead was also gone.
Ron's heart gradually fell, like a person jumping off a building. The feeling of weightlessness on his body intensified, as if there was a cliff below him. There was a big hole in his heart, and air kept leaking out. This, this.
He stared at the two people in a daze, and then collapsed to the ground. There was a small snake crawling on the ground. George saw it and drove the snake away.
Ron didn't understand why he had such strong feelings for this character in the book, even though they had been together for some time and even though this was a two-dimensional paper figure that he liked in his previous life.
He didn't understand where the tearing pain in his heart came from. It was like he had known Harry for more than ten years, or even decades. He was in so much pain that he could hardly speak. It was as if he had died with Harry's departure. His skin seemed to be covered with a thick layer of fog, as if there was a thick barrier around him.
He stared blankly at the lonely scene in front of him. Fred knelt down worriedly and shook Ron's body. George also came close to him and patted his cheek gently with his hand. Suddenly, a small green creature appeared above Fred's head and jumped onto Ron himself.
Ron didn't move. He let the little thing gnaw on his body.
Ron's head hurt so much that he felt as if the world was spinning and his two poles were out of balance. In a trance, he seemed to see Harry, Hermione and the other two setting up a tent in the wild, his brother getting married, and himself and Hermione wearing wedding dresses.
He saw the ruins of Hogwarts after the war, saw his mother crying after Fred's death, and saw George, with his ear missing and the hole on his face, which seemed to have a different kind of attraction and sucked Ron in.
Here, Hermione was running frantically and met the first senior who came over, it was Wood.
"Senior," Hermione grabbed Wood's clothes, looking pleading and sad.
"Go tell Dumbledore and the other professors that we have encountered a dark wizard. Hagrid stood in front of him to let us go first, and Harry and the others also stayed behind."
Hermione didn't understand why she was so afraid of the man in the black robe. It was like a sheep meeting a wolf, like small fish naturally avoiding big fish, like some people couldn't stand the sound of nails scratching on a blackboard, ancient beasts gnawing on human bones. This sound was engraved in the bone marrow, and the fear could not be erased even after thousands of years of inheritance.
The leeks in the fields were harvested again and again.
A new round of hunting begins.
When Dumbledore got the news and rushed over, he found Hagrid pressing on Harry, whose body was covered in bruises and looked like he would die soon.
It took him back to the days of previous years, when Harry was covered in blood, once again, right under his nose.
Dumbledore suppressed his anger.
When Harry woke up, he found himself in the infirmary. Glancing to the side, he saw a pile of gifts on a bed, and a small figure was sorting them out. He had a bald head, big leaf-like ears, and was wearing a small piece of clothing. It was Dobby.
A gust of wind blew by, blowing down a light green greeting card that was on top of the pile of gifts. It fluttered in the air, and on it was written in golden letters, "Harry..." Harry couldn't see the rest.
Dobby seemed to have discovered it, and immediately bent down to pick it up, muttering to himself, "Bad Dobby, bad Dobby, you dropped your master's greeting card."
There were also two voices talking nearby, and upon careful listening, it was Madam Pomfrey and Dumbledore.
"This poison is very strange. I have never seen it before." Madam Pomfrey looked serious. Upon hearing this, Dumbledore's face also turned unsightly.
"Snape can't do anything about it. He is preparing an antidote for Harry. It's a universal antidote."
"But what's strange is," Madam Pomfrey paused, "Harry's own body can absorb that kind of toxin. It seems to have some effect on increasing his magic power. As for the side effects, we are not sure yet. We can only let him stay in the school infirmary for observation in the next few days."
Harry couldn't hear the rest clearly as he was swept over by sleepiness again. His body felt extremely heavy and it felt like a 10kg lead ball had fallen on his head, forcing him into a dream.
He seemed to have forgotten something and fell into a sweet dream again.
There was a small green snake tattoo swimming slowly in Harry's open collar. Also, on Harry's left arm, below the white wrist guard was a purple snake tail tip.
"Harry, you still need to improve your abilities, not just your strength, but also other aspects, such as your understanding of the world, your leadership, and your ability to command subordinates." Harry faintly heard these words and immediately fell into a deep sleep, completely unaware of what was waiting for him in the days to come.
Where is this? Harry asked, looking around, speechless, all he could see were towering bookshelves, with books on them, covering economics, politics, military affairs, psychology, finance, architecture, art, music, physical fitness, literature, history... everything.
Harry felt a headache after reading this. From the Muggle world to the wizarding world, from the beginning of written records to the present, the number of records has continued to increase. Looking further into the distance, there are faint fluctuations, as if the future is about to emerge.
Gryffindor suddenly appeared in front of Harry with a smile on his face. "You heard what I just said to you, right? Let's lay a solid theoretical foundation this year."
Harry looked at the devil in front of him with embarrassment, and saw a trace of pity in his eyes, and the possibility of not reading these books.
"There are so many books that even if I read one book a day, I won't be able to finish them even if I die." Harry found the bug and looked at the person in front of him proudly.
The Gryffindor smiled.
"Do you think that the space I created by sacrificing my own soul, integrating the wisdom of Ravenclaw, and adding the help of Slytherin and Hufflepuff, would not take your problem into consideration?" As if he had expected it.
"The speed of time flowing here is different from that in the outside world, but learning comes at a price, which we have already paid for you." Gryffindor looked a little sad, as if he had thought of something.
Harry also shut up tactfully, looking a little sad, "Where can I watch it? What are the requirements for watching it?"
"what ever--"
"But you still have a brother." Gryffindor couldn't help but smile. He pulled out a figure from the space. The figure had an upright posture, a slender figure, short black hair, emerald green eyes, and a smile on his lips, revealing his white teeth. There was a faint evil aura all over his body, which made people feel a little scared.
"Hi~"
The book in Harry's hand fell to the ground. This was another him.
Gryffindor didn't seem to notice the difference between the two of them. He patted Harry on the shoulder and said, "You two will divide the work. The knowledge will be shared."
As night fell, the Gryffindor team began their great adventure again.
Four figures sneaked out of the common room. The Veles brothers kindly provided the Marauder's Map, red-haired Ron was responsible for lookout in front, and the night vision queen Hermione was responsible for observing people who appeared at any time. The four of them started a small activity to visit Harry.
"Uh, why can't we go during the day?"
"You're stupid!" George tapped Ron's head with the map in his hand. "For some reason, Dumbledore doesn't allow us to visit him. Even the gifts are placed in one place and delivered by the house-elves."
"Ouch..." Ron cried out softly to protest his brother's behavior. Hermione pinched the soft flesh on Ron's waist, "Don't cry." Then, she glared at George, "Don't talk either."
George raised his eyebrows, pursed his lips, and gestured to his mouth with his hand, indicating that he didn't want to say anything and understood.
Fred took the map from George's hand and looked at the moving dots on it with an understanding look on his face.
He turned around suddenly and saw a small platinum-colored head that had not had time to hide.
