Harry Potter and the Rebirth
Chapter 325 Departure
The cold wind was howling, and the whole world was exceptionally hazy. The vision became extremely dim. The farthest distance was lavender, and where the sky and the earth met there was a touch of delicate gray. A little closer it was cyan and orange, and finally it slowly transitioned to beige, as if the sun had not risen yet, representing the rebirth of the morning light, but also as if the sunset had already passed the horizon, a foreshadowing of the coming of night.
Dumbledore was floating in the air alone, staring down at the soil in the distance. He had been here for a long time, and through Snape's exploration of this mysterious substance, he had acquired certain coping skills. Now he wanted to go to the center to take a look, but he was still waiting for someone.
"You're still here."
The person he was waiting for arrived. Dumbledore turned around and remained silent after seeing Grindelwald's face clearly.
"You don't have to take this risk alone if you—"
"There is no need to let others go," Dumbledore shook his head. "I am just an old man who is about to step into the grave. Those young people have a promising future. We old guys have to explore the way."
"What that guy said might not be true."
"After so many days of observation, what he said is true." Dumbledore said with a smile, "Don't worry, I will not die yet. Didn't you see in your prophecy that I stand with you?"
Even though it was Grindelwald from another world, Dumbledore still maintained absolute trust in him on such issues.
"By the way, how are things going over there?"
"As you expected, Fudge has evil intentions. Your backup plan has worked, but he may need some time to adapt."
Dumbledore nodded. If it wasn't an emergency, he wouldn't be willing to use such means, so he simply locked him up for a while.
"What about after I leave?"
Grindelwald seemed to have thought of something funny, and his brows were obviously relaxed. "The plan was half successful. A small number of people are still missing, and the mysterious organization has revealed its true colors."
"Are you sure you can catch them?"
"Still owe a little."
Grindelwald has been making preparations since he saw the scene with his own eyes a few years ago. That hostile force is so huge that it is impossible to accomplish it overnight. Now he finally has some clues.
Dumbledore nodded, and suddenly his whole body was filled with magical energy that vibrated and surged, and if you got closer you could hear a crackling sound.
"How about I go with you?"
"No, just help me keep an eye on Hogwarts."
Grindelwald floated silently in the air, watching Dumbledore walking further and further away. Fortunately, God was kind enough and had just used the prophecy again, so things turned around and there was light at the end of the tunnel.
Grindelwald's eyes turned red, and then tears of blood flowed from the corners of his eyes, streaked across his face, and dripped into the soil beneath his feet. The soil instantly became ferocious, and the black mud formed huge claws that rose high up and wanted to swallow him in one gulp.
There was a flash of blue flame, a wailing sound, and Grindelwald disappeared on the spot.
Newt Scamander has locked himself up in that magical world for nearly half a year. Ever since his good friend Dumbledore sent him a small bottle of sample from afar, he began his obsessive research.
Now that he has finally achieved some results, he is told that his good friend has gone to Antarctica.
The old Newt Scamander was furious. He carried his magic box and cursed, and drove the magical creatures that were still wandering in the villa into the box one by one.
Rolf Scamander, Newt's grandson, who was already 24 years old and immersed in graduate school and biology at home, raised his head in confusion.
"Grandfather, are you finally willing to come out of your world?"
"Stop nagging and come with me to Antarctica."
Rolf jumped up immediately. The huge movement attracted the attention of Tina Goldstein, who poked her head out of the kitchen. "Are you going to find--"
"Yes, just go find him."
"I also need to go."
"You are so old, why are you still running around? What if your old arms and legs are broken? No, so."
Newt refused sternly, and the Bowtruckle grabbed onto his beard and swung back and forth like a swing. Occasionally, a few shiny white hairs could be seen falling to the ground. Newt gritted his teeth, pulled the Bowtruckle off, and threw it into his suitcase.
Luo Fu ran far away. He had returned to his room to pack his luggage, and also packed some for his grandmother. According to years of practice, his grandfather could not stop his grandmother from doing what she wanted to do.
One of the clothes folded at the foot of the bed inexplicably floated in the air, and then a few sparkling cufflinks there disappeared.
Rolf turned around and sighed helplessly, then he grabbed something in the air very skillfully. A small ape-man opened his obsidian eyes and looked at Rolf pitifully. Then a Niffler fell from mid-air and three buttons fell to the floor.
"Grandfather - the invisible beast has come here."
"Ugh--"
Newt's voice came from afar, with three parts of unwillingness, four parts of regret, and three parts of helplessness.
"Be good, I'll hold it for your grandfather." Tina Goldstein walked in slowly, saw the two suitcases on the floor, looked at Rove with appreciation, and then hugged the invisible beast and Sniff in her arms.
The sniffing cat stamped its feet, and when it saw the glittering gold thread on Tina's sleeve, it immediately formed a furry wristband.
Luo Fu smiled, feeling only peace and comfort in his heart at the moment. As for the dangers that might be encountered next, he was not worried at all.
He and his grandfather participated in the research of that magical substance and found that this thing was helpless against the wizards' space spells. As long as they got into the box, they could live there carefree and there would be no problem until death. The only difference was that the space they could move in might not be very large.
Harry and Lupin met. Well, as an adult Harry, facing the adult Lupin, there was always a little awkwardness in their interactions.
Whether it was the wolfsbane potion or his opinion on Hagrid's disappearance, Harry always felt that Lupin was always on edge. He was neither too polite nor too close to him, maintaining the proper manner of a stranger relative.
This made Harry extremely uncomfortable. If he had no memories of his past life, then the image of a father's former friend would have been successfully established by now. But now, perhaps it was because he was no longer the professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts?
Harry watched Ron and Lupin talking in front of him, while Hermione listened with interest, holding a modified badge in her hand.
The golden letters SPEW gleamed on the round badge, so fast—
