Harry Potter and the Rebirth

Chapter 109 Back to School

"Oh, Harry, it's okay. This level of spellcasting is not difficult for an old man like me." Dumbledore smiled easily, and then under the gaze of everyone, Fawkes stood on his shoulder and Dumbledore floated up.

"I will temporarily cast some protective spells in this area where wizards live to ensure their safety in the next few days. Next, Molly," Dumbledore looked down.

"Yeah," Molly nodded.

"Please wait until your husband comes back, or tomorrow, I will ask your children to come back from school, and you can discuss the moving matters together."

Molly showed an embarrassment on her face. The usual expenses for the children's school supplies, food and accommodation were already a very heavy burden. Now suddenly asking them to move was a really difficult decision.

Dumbledore saw the embarrassment on her face and explained, "Please pack your luggage in the next few days. As for where to stay, I will inform you in three days."

"Professor Dumbledore, do we really have to move?" A little head popped up from behind Molly. It was Ginny. Ron also looked at Dumbledore expectantly. He felt that this home was warm and good and there was no need to move. Ron looked at the worn-out wand in his hand, which had already revealed its core, and once again realized the financial difficulties of his family.

Harry patted Ron's shoulder, signaling him to be relieved. "Professor, do you mean that place?"

"Well, I remember now, Harry, you know this place, so please explain it to the others--"

Then Dumbledore's figure disappeared in a burst of fire, the moon gradually appeared, and the dark clouds surrounding it dispersed.

The moonlight shines on this quiet place, and there is no sign that three lives have just disappeared. The grass on the ground is covered with a layer of silver gauze, covering the ground. Occasionally, the sound of birds flapping their wings can be heard not far away, as if they are right above people's heads.

"Okay, kids, it's already late, you should go to Hogwarts." Molly looked at the three little ones gathered together and said gently.

Ginny tugged at her mother's clothes, and Ron understood what his sister meant, "Can't we stay overnight tonight?" Ginny secretly gave Ron a thumbs up when no one was paying attention. Ron raised his face, quite proudly. In this respect, he is really a good brother.

However, this proposal was sternly rejected by Mrs. Veles, and the three little ones returned to the fireplace helplessly.

Finally, Molly added, "It's not enough for your brother to supervise those two troublemakers. You did a good job in this matter. You can continue to keep in touch with me in the future." Ron showed an evil smile on his face. In this regard, he was very happy to do it.

Three people stepped out of the fireplace in the principal's office. The whole office was silent. Harry looked at the portraits hanging on one side of the wall and found that most of the people in them were missing. Some of them looked very tired. Some leaned on the photo frames, some lay on the table above their portraits, and some lay on the lawn with a red picnic blanket covering their bodies.

"What's going on? Are they usually like this?" Hermione asked. She had hardly ever been to the headmaster's office, so she rarely saw the portrait door in normal condition. However, the portraits in other places in Hogwarts were quite energetic. This -

"Shh, let's go." Ron lowered his voice, took his two little friends and tiptoed out. Before he went out, he was tripped by a stone beast sleeping at the door. "Ouch!" Harry quickly covered Ron's mouth to stop him from making any sound.

Ron looked at Harry with accusatory eyes, saying something like this, "Why are you covering me? It's all the fault of this stone beast." Under Harry's siege, Ron kicked the stone beast twice out of frustration. The stone beast was awakened by the pain. No, the stone beast had no sense of pain. "How dare you, which kid dares to kick me?"

The stone beast jumped up and saw three little wizards nearby. "Okay, it's you guys!"

Then the stone beast began to call frantically, waking up the tired portraits in the corridor, and also attracted Filch who was patrolling on this floor.

As he was nearby, he rushed over immediately.

"Who is it? Who is wandering here at night without sleeping?"

Harry put down his hands, and took advantage of Filch's arrival to cast a Disillusionment Charm on all three of them.

Hermione felt the cool and smooth feeling on her body and instantly understood what Harry meant. Ron saw Filch and tactfully shut his mouth.

Mrs. Norris was not here, which was good news. The three of them quietly and tiptoed past Filch. Filch only felt a gust of wind. "Hiss - why do I feel so familiar? Who is it? A professor? Strange -"

He walked around the corridor and found that there was nothing unusual except the stone beast jumping around wildly.

"So it was you who made the noise." The stone beast felt aggrieved, but he couldn't speak because Harry sealed his mouth before leaving. Nonsense, it was not in vain that he had learned this for such a long time.

Harry and the other two walked to the end of the corridor and heard Filch mumbling to himself. When the word "Filch" came through the corridor and into Harry's ears, he turned his head sharply. Filch, does he still remember?

"You guys go back first, I still have some things to do." The hustle and bustle of the day gradually faded away, leaving behind the thought-provoking silence in the darkness. Harry sent his friends to the dormitory door, then turned around and strode away.

"Be careful and come back early." Ron warned. His friend was going on another adventure, but he was already very sleepy.

Hermione stood by without saying a word. She still remembered those cold black eyes without any life in them. She clenched her fists secretly, and for a moment she didn't know whether she felt more panic or anger. This powerful spell was something that even Dumbledore could only destroy. Is the world really safe now?

Ron was not panicked at all. Since things had changed so much and it was confirmed that his good brother was the savior, then his family would definitely be protected.

No - Ron paused as he crossed the dormitory entrance. People around the protagonist should die faster, usually to stimulate the protagonist and make him work harder or take revenge.

"Go away." She bumped into Ron's back all of a sudden. The hard back made Hermione's nose red. Hermione just felt very sore, and then the corners of her eyes turned red.

"You, you--" Neville, who was curled up in a dark corner, woke up. He forgot the password to the common room, so he had to wait for someone to give him a ride back to the dormitory.

Maybe it was because the light was too dim, or maybe it was because both of them were absent-minded, with many things on their minds, so they ignored the person squatting on the ground.

Ron's face turned red, and Hermione hurried in. Neville selectively forgot what had just happened and followed them in.

"That..." Neville mustered up the courage and stopped in front of Hermione, "What's wrong, Neville?" Hermione asked him gently. Although she had never seen it with her own eyes, she had heard that he was often bullied by others.

"Can I borrow your Defense Against the Dark Arts homework? The paper Professor Quirrell assigned is so difficult, and I have a class with him tomorrow, but I haven't done a single word yet."
