American comic Gotham, the sheriff of Arkham

Chapter 132 Strange and the Joker

Batman lowered his body and stood silently behind Strange, moving his body with every movement of Strange, firmly occupying the blind spot of his vision.

There is no true invisibility in the world, but you can deceive, deceive your eyes, deceive your ears, deceive your smell and intuition.

Strange could feel that Batman was here, but he couldn't see Batman. There was no hot object in the light green field of the night vision goggles.

Only the werewolf hanging on the wall in the distance, with an orange-red heat radiating from his body, could be seen clearly by him.

Batman was accumulating strength in his body, waiting for the moment when Strange would reveal a flaw. He looked at the ground, relying on his sense to avoid Strange's gaze.

"That's strange, why are you hiding?" Strange turned around on the spot, and Batman stood behind him quietly.

"Aren't you curious about the old butler? I found a good place for him. When he wakes up, he can collect your body. It's time for the old man to send off the young man!"

Strange tried to stir up Batman's emotions, but the surroundings were as quiet as a stagnant pool of water, without even a ripple.

"Okay, I hate you, you should at least answer me. Otherwise... I'm standing here, talking to myself like an idiot, and it makes me feel like there's something wrong with me."

"Where are the people?!" Strange couldn't help but roared angrily, taking a few steps on the spot, turning his body and looking left and right.

The empty corridor made him feel irritated.

"Perhaps, I should take you up there to see what hiding in the dark means."

Strange turned and walked towards the stairs. There was a light bulb at the foot of the stairs, emitting light. In the dark corridor, looking at the light over there, it was like the legendary gate to heaven.

Strange walked up the stairs and suddenly turned around. Batman's fist swung at him like a triggered crossbow.

With a thud, Strange's body hit the stairs. He quickly reached out and grabbed the handrail to avoid falling.

With a click, a pair of black deformed handcuffs locked Strange's wrists to the stair railing.

Batman reached out and grabbed Strange's head, and slammed it hard against the stair railing. With two bangs, one of the pointed ears on the bat mask was broken.

"You are looking for death!!!"

Strange struggled to stand up, kicked Batman away, clenched his fists, grabbed the handcuffs by his wrists, and punched the stair railing, breaking the wooden stair railing instantly.

He no longer concealed himself and reached out to tear off the hood on his head. The blood vessels on his bald head bulged out, tangling and crisscrossing like tree roots, looking extremely hideous.

"Where's Alfred!"

Batman clenched his fists and shouted angrily, hitting Strange's face hard with his exoskeleton gloves.

Immediately afterwards, there was an impact caused by the hydraulic system of the exoskeleton, just like an electric pickaxe on a construction site, with a bang.

Strange's face trembled, he took two steps back and fell on the stairs. Batman immediately rushed up and punched him again.

The slope of the stairs became Batman's best help.

Strange, who was sitting on the steps, had no time to get up, and was knocked to the ground by Batman's punches before he could even use any strength.

"Tell me, where is Alfred?!" Batman grabbed Strange's collar and asked loudly.

Strange struggled again and tried to stand up from the ground, but what greeted him was Batman's punch after punch.

With a click, Batman took out another pair of handcuffs and handcuffed Strange to the stair railing. At the same time, Batman grabbed Strange's arm and hit him with his elbow.

Strange screamed, his arms drooping like cooked noodles, locked together by two handcuffs.

"Tell me!!!" Batman yelled again.

"The last place you want to be is your grave...where I placed him," Strange sneered.

Batman calmed down after hearing this, the last place he wanted to be was…there was only one place!

Crime Alley! Sin Alley, that place has many names, but no one can remember the original name of that place.

It is a bad place, everyone says so, whether it is the people in high positions or the homeless people on the streets.

Batman turned and left without stopping. Strange, who was sitting on the stairs, pulled his arm hard, but he couldn't use any strength. Pulling hard would only break his arm.

"Are you just leaving like this?" Strange shouted loudly.

Batman stopped but said nothing. He ran a few steps quickly and broke the window glass.

With a crash, the glass shattered, and Batman spread out his cape behind him and flew out like spreading wings.

"Damn it! What does he take me for?!"

As if humiliated, Strange pulled his unconscious arm and pulled the metal railing on the stairs crooked.

"Doo-doo-doo~thump-thump, thump-thump!"

A strange tone came from the bottom of the stairs, causing Strange to stop struggling and sit on the ground, covering his arm.

The clown came up from upstairs, holding a bent crowbar in his hand, like a civilized stick, and doing the tap dance steps he once wanted to perform on the stage.

He staggered upstairs from downstairs.

"I should sue the drug dealer. He didn't tell me that this drug has side effects. I'm even hallucinating."

Strange smiled in disbelief, but as the Joker walked closer, the smile on his face disappeared.

The clown was wearing a human face, which was stuck on his face like a mask, and was stuck in the skin with staples all around.

The pale human skin and the rolling fat layer made Strange hesitate for a moment. That face... looked a little familiar.

"Look, who is this...a stupid fake bat whose wings were broken by a real bat, hehehehahahahahaha."

The clown laughed unceremoniously, holding his stomach exaggeratedly, his whole body shaking with laughter, and the crowbar in his hand fell to the ground with a crisp clash.

Fake bat? Strange looked at the black bat suit he was wearing, and his face suddenly darkened.

The Joker laughed so hard that he fell backwards. Just as he approached, Strange suddenly jumped up, and his relatively intact right hand stretched out in an instant like a hunting viper.

He grabbed the clown by the neck and pulled him over.

"I don't know how you survived, but I will figure it out, Joker!" Strange put his forehead against the Joker's and said in a serious voice.

"I will do everything I can to make sure you can't live or die! Now, confess to me, clown! These are your last words!"

Strange used his hands to squeeze the Joker's neck. His well-trained physique gave him great strength.

With the help of enhancers, even an adult silverback gorilla is not as strong as him.

He easily strangled the Joker's unprotected neck. Strange could clearly feel that the Joker's trachea was squeezed into a ball of rotten meat.

"Ah! I am dead, ah..."

The clown tilted his head and stuck out his tongue, looking as if he was dead. However, due to the obstruction of his face, he did not stick out his tongue. Instead, he licked the blood and smacked his lips to taste it.

Strange's eyes widened, a little bit in disbelief at the scene before him, but soon the Joker's heartbeat disappeared.

He's dead? Strange didn't dare to confirm.

But his years of medical experience told him that what he had in his hands was a dead person, a cold corpse.

Strange looked at the Joker and threw him out with all his strength. He fell to the ground and hit the wall. Strange didn't dare to stay and quickly reached out to grab his unconscious left hand.

Trying to free himself from the handcuffs, Batman broke his arm, making it impossible for him to escape as the handcuffs dug into his flesh.

Just as Strange was pulling hard at the stair railing, the curved crowbar on the ground was picked up by someone.

Boom!

Strange's body shook and he blinked, as if he hadn't realized what was happening.

He turned his head and looked to the side...

The clown's face was pulled off, revealing his true appearance. He held the crowbar in both hands with a hideous smile on his face, and raised the crowbar in his hand as if he was playing golf.

With a whoosh, the crowbar flew through the air and hit Strange's head hard.

With just this one blow, Strange's head was hit and bleeding, and his skull seemed to be a little sunken.

"Good shot!" The Joker shouted excitedly, then swung the crowbar and hit Strange again.
