Chapter 168 A good meal
Zhang looked at him with a smile, "Okay, let's work together."
As night fell, Wang Qiang, who had been busy all day, finally sold the last box lunch. He dragged his tired body back home, and Zhang had already prepared a pot of hot soup waiting for him in the kitchen.
"How's business today?" Zhang asked with concern.
Wang Qiang smiled. Although his face was full of fatigue, his eyes were full of satisfaction and joy. "Yes, today's lunch boxes are sold out again. Everyone is very satisfied with the mapo tofu and vegetable soup."
Zhang nodded. "That's good. You've worked hard. Come and have some soup to warm your stomach."
Wang Qiang walked into the kitchen and looked at the steaming soup on the table. His stomach suddenly growled. He realized that he had been so busy all day that he hadn't even eaten a single bite. He picked up a bowl of soup, blew it gently, and took a sip. The warm feeling instantly spread throughout his body, making him feel much better.
"It's delicious, Zhang. Your cooking skills are getting better and better." Wang Qiang praised sincerely.
Zhang smiled and said, "As long as you like it, this soup is made from bones and is rich in nutrients. Drink more."
Wang Qiang nodded and drank his soup, thinking about tomorrow's plan. He knew that if he wanted to expand his business, he needed not only skills but also continuous innovation and improvement. He thought that he would try to make a new dish tomorrow to give customers more choices.
"I plan to try making a new dish tomorrow. Do you have any suggestions?" Wang Qiang put down the bowl and asked.
Zhang thought for a while and said, "I think we can try making braised lion's head. That dish has both meat and vegetables, it is nutritious and tastes good."
Wang Qiang nodded, "Good idea, braised lion's head is really good, I will try it tomorrow."
Late at night, Wang Qiang lay in bed, thinking about tomorrow's work, feeling both excited and nervous. He knew that every day was a new challenge, but also a new opportunity. He secretly made up his mind to make every dish the best and satisfy the customers.
The next morning, Wang Qiang got up early again and went to the market to buy fresh meat and vegetables to prepare braised lion's head. He was busy in the kitchen, cutting meat and mincing, adding various seasonings, and mixing them carefully. Then, he rolled the meat into balls of appropriate size and put them into the pot to slowly cook.
"Ms. Zhang, come and try what it tastes like." Wang Qiang brought a bowl of braised lion's head and handed it to Ms. Zhang.
Zhang took a bite and nodded with satisfaction, "It's delicious, the flavor is very fragrant, and the meat is very tender."
Wang Qiang breathed a sigh of relief, his heart full of confidence, "That's good, I think it tastes good too, I hope customers will like it too."
At noon, Wang Qiang packed the braised lion head and several other dishes into lunch boxes, placed them on the stall, and started his day's business.
"Come on, come on, freshly-baked braised lion head lunch boxes, only five dollars each!" Wang Qiang greeted passers-by enthusiastically.
Soon, customers flocked to the stall again, and a long line formed in front of the stall. Everyone was full of curiosity and anticipation for Wang Qiang's new dish, and wanted to taste this freshly baked delicacy.
"Wang Qiang, give me a serving of braised lion head!" A familiar voice came from our neighbor Aunt Wang.
Wang Qiang quickly packed a lunch box and handed it over, "Auntie Wang, please try it. This is my new dish today."
Aunt Wang took the lunch box, opened it, and was greeted by a fragrant aroma. "It smells so good, Wang Qiang, your cooking skills are amazing!"
Wang Qiang smiled modestly, "As long as you like it, thank you for your support."
In the following days, Wang Qiang's stall was crowded with people, and the lunch boxes were quickly sold out. Seeing everyone enjoying their meals, he felt a sense of accomplishment. This was not only a recognition of his craftsmanship, but also an affirmation of his efforts.
After another busy day, Wang Qiang returned home, so tired that he could hardly stand. He sat on a chair and sighed deeply. Although his body was exhausted, his heart was full of satisfaction and joy.
"Ms. Zhang, we have sold out all the lunch boxes today. The braised lion head is very popular." Wang Qiang said to Ms. Zhang.
Zhang smiled and nodded, "That's good, you should take a rest. You haven't eaten all day, come and eat something."
Wang Qiang then realized that he was too busy to eat. He looked at the food on the table and felt a warm feeling in his heart. At this moment, he felt an unprecedented happiness and satisfaction. Despite the busyness and hard work, it was all worth it to be able to bring delicious food and joy to his family and customers with his efforts.
Wang Qiang picked up the bowl and took a bite of the rice. The delicious taste instantly restored his tired body. He knew that the road ahead was still long, but as long as he persisted and worked hard, every day would be fulfilling and meaningful.
Late at night, Wang Qiang lay in bed, thinking about today's experience, and looking forward to tomorrow. He knew that he still had a lot of room for improvement and many possibilities. He decided to set himself some new tasks and goals every night, constantly challenging himself and making continuous progress.
"Tomorrow, I will try to make a new dish and give my customers another surprise." Wang Qiang said to himself silently.
Zhang watched him quietly from the side and said with a smile, "You will do it. I believe in you."
It was late at night, and the only sounds in the courtyard were the occasional wind and a few dogs barking in the distance. Wang Qiang lay in bed, exhausted, but unable to fall asleep. His stomach was particularly loud in this quiet night, rumbling. He sighed softly, knowing that this was because he had been busy all day and had hardly eaten anything.
"I can't go on like this. I must eat on time tomorrow." Wang Qiang warned himself secretly. He knew that if he continued like this, his body would not be able to bear it sooner or later.
He stood up, quietly walked to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator, and found only a few cold pieces of braised lion's head and some vegetables. Wang Qiang took out a piece of braised lion's head, put it in a bowl, heated it up a little in the microwave, and ate a few bites. Although it was not delicious, it was enough to fill his stomach.
"I'll buy some quick-to-eat food tomorrow so I can fill my stomach when I'm busy." Wang Qiang thought as he ate. He felt his eyelids getting heavier and heavier, and finally after a few bites of food, he tiredly returned to bed.
The next morning, Wang Qiang was woken up by the alarm clock. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and felt much heavier. Although he had eaten a little last night, it was not enough and he was still very hungry. He decided that no matter how busy he was today, he would find time to have a good meal.
