Hogwarts: The Wizarding World's First Capitalist

Chapter 506: The Legendary Old Demon "Golden Devourer"

In the middle of the raging Atlantic Ocean, there is a small island hidden in the raging waves. A dark and terrifying atmosphere surrounds the island.

The sky was covered with dark clouds, as if not even a ray of sunlight could penetrate the thick haze. The sea breeze whistled past, carrying the salty and cold taste of the sea water, making people shudder.

Not far to the south of the island, there is an even larger island with a strange building that looks like a fortress.

At the top of the building, there are countless black monsters like ghosts, hovering above.

That is Azkaban, the prison for the entire British wizarding world, where countless notorious Death Eaters and dark wizards are imprisoned.

Those black monsters that keep circling are the legendary Dementors, which feed on human fear and happiness.

In Azkaban, these Dementors not only exist as guards, but their existence itself brings great psychological torture to the prisoners.

The prisoners imprisoned here not only have to face physical imprisonment, but also have to endure the mental torture brought by Dementors.

This double torture made Azkaban one of the most feared places in the wizarding world.

Many prisoners would go completely crazy because they couldn't stand this kind of torture.

Turning our attention back to this small island, on this desolate land, an old goblin was walking forward step by step with a cane, followed by a young goblin.

This fairy is really too old, and it seems to have exceeded the lifespan limit of ordinary fairies. All the magic in it has been lost.

The overall ugly appearance is disgusting, the body is twisted and deformed, the skin is a strange green color, and it is covered with disgusting pustules and sores.

Its eyes were sunken in their sockets, flashing with a malicious light, as if they could see into the darkest secrets of human hearts.

Its mouth was split open to the ears, revealing a row of sharp teeth and emitting a foul odor.

At the same time, as this guy walked, he would take a bottle of foul-smelling potion from the hand of a frightened young goblin beside him and pour it into his own mouth.

Corresponding to the ugly appearance of this goblin, the environment on the island is equally creepy.

The trees withered and died, and the branches twisted into all kinds of strange shapes, as if it was nature's curse on this land.

The ground was littered with broken bones and rotting corpses, emitting a suffocating stench.

The air was filled with a fishy smell that made it hard to breathe.

The violent Atlantic Ocean in the distance adds a terrifying atmosphere to the island.

The waves surged and roared like a giant beast, rushing towards the shore, making a deafening sound.

The sea breeze whistled past, blowing up pieces of sand and stones that hit my face painfully.

Dark clouds rolled in the sky, and lightning streaked across the night sky, illuminating the entire island, as if it was the end of the world.

The young fairy was frightened by the scene before him. He lost his balance and fell to the ground, and the glass bottle in his hand broke into pieces.

The black potion in the glass bottle over there instantly began to corrode the ground in front of it, and the smell was a hundred times more fishy than rotten eggs.

The seabirds within a hundred miles began to take off and escape.

"Waste." The old goblin heard the noise, turned around and looked back. After seeing the scene in front of him, he instantly became furious.

He kicked the young goblin, who had fallen to the ground, over.

"It is because of useless young people like you that Gringotts Bank has come to this point."

"If that damned Mr. Hohenzollern really sets up a central bank for the British wizarding world, then Gringotts will be completely finished."

"And all this is because of you, a piece of shit."

After saying that, the old goblin picked up the crutch in his hand and started beating the young goblin who fell to the ground.

In less than a moment, the poor guy was beaten and bleeding, but he had no intention of resisting.

The old demon did not stop this cruel atrocity until he was really tired and had no strength left.

The old man was seen gasping for breath, with pus pus on his face bursting out one after another, and his skin, which was already shriveled like tree bark.

It began to fall off piece by piece, revealing the dry muscles and bones underneath.

Looking at the horrific scene in front of him, the young goblin, whose head was broken and bleeding, suddenly remembered something horrible.

He stood up and prepared to run away, but because of the magic-suppressing collar on his neck, he could not use magic to escape.

Before he had taken a few steps, he was suddenly controlled by a powerful magic and was fixed in place, turning into a skeleton.

He spoke strangely with his exposed vocal cords.

"I gave you a chance, but you didn't seize it, so don't blame me."

The young goblin was terrified and struggled desperately, but to no avail.

The old goblin chanted a spell and waved his hands. A black energy surged out from his palms and slowly wrapped around the other person's body.

The black energy was like an invisible hand, tightly grasping the source of his life.

As time went by, the young man's face turned pale and his eyes became empty and lifeless.

Its body began to shrink, as if all its vitality was being sucked away bit by bit by that invisible hand.

The old goblin seemed to be becoming more and more energetic, his face was no longer distorted, and the light in his eyes became brighter.

New skin also began to grow slowly on the exposed muscles.

Finally, when the last bit of life energy was taken away by the old goblin, the young goblin's body turned into a shriveled corpse and fell to the ground.

The old goblin stood there, with no expression on his aged face.

It waved its hand gently, and the shriveled corpse flew into a pile of grass nearby and was abandoned together with countless other corpses.

When it is over, countless seabirds will reintegrate the body into nature.

However, the old goblin seemed to be completely unconcerned about this. His eyes kept searching in the forest not far away and finally locked onto a direction.

Then he shouted loudly.

"You can show yourself now. There's no need to hide like this anymore. It was you who deliberately tripped that poor guy and made him fall."

"You wasted my entire day's worth of potions. Do you know how precious those things are? It's simply a waste of resources."

"It seems that my hiding is still not very good."

Not long after the old goblin finished speaking, a, or rather two, hearty voices came from the depths of the forest.

A red-haired boy used his hands to push aside the weeds in front of him that were taller than a man, and slowly walked up to the old goblin.

She bowed deeply and gracefully and spoke respectfully.

"I never thought I could actually see the legendary one of the founders of the British Gringotts Bank, the great Mr. Gold Eater!!"
