Hogwarts: The Wizarding World's First Capitalist

Chapter 474: The Changed Hermione and the Compromised Carl

Hearing this, Hermione just turned her head slightly and rolled her eyes at Carl.

"Mr. Hohenzollern, do you like to meddle in other people's affairs? The relationship between us is purely an employment relationship. I will complete all the tasks you assign to me."

"You pay me due compensation, and other than that there shouldn't be too much interaction between us. I admit that I was once amazed by your beauty."

"But now my heart is more focused on the pure pursuit of knowledge. Please speed up your money-making process."

“I still have a lot of books that I haven’t bought yet.”

Carl touched his nose awkwardly. The girl in front of him was no longer the helpful yet timid girl he saw for the first time.

The other party is now a mentally strong and practical person who dares to think and act.

After Carl forcibly changed the trajectory of her life, Hermione did not give up her greatest hobby, reading and studying.

It's just that the approach has changed a lot. She no longer pursues test scores because scores are of no significance to her now.

Hermione used all her money and energy to collect valuable books, hoping to find the final answer she wanted in them.

This includes a complete set of "Zamorano Eighty Selections" compiled by a group of famous bibliophiles in 1945.

Only four people in the entire 20th century collected this set of books, but Hermione was determined to collect a set of her own.

Of course she couldn't do it before, but fortunately after helping Carl make money, she now has enough money to fulfill her dream.

It’s just that Karl’s money-making speed has slowed down a lot recently, which makes her very unhappy.

Before Carl could recover from the embarrassment, Hermione looked away.

Then he continued to look at the backs of the two people and said confidently.

"Besides, why should I worry? Days like today are just special times. It won't be long before everything that happened today is over."

"Professor Snape will find out about this, and after some trouble, Harry might ask me to help her meet Draco."

"I'm not going to turn down the request, except for the necessary rest time, for the foreseeable next two months."

"I can occupy 80% of Harry's time, and Draco will never exceed 5%. With such a huge disparity in the ratio, I have no reason to be anxious or angry."

Having said that, under Carl's stunned gaze, Hermione walked straight towards the wooden house, not forgetting to turn back and make a sarcastic remark before leaving.

"Rather than worrying about my private life, I would like to say that you should worry about yourself."

"There will be no good results if you try to have your feet on two boats."

"I'm so sorry!!"

Carl's defenses were completely broken. He suddenly felt a deep sense of powerlessness, and the whole Hogwarts became extremely unfamiliar.

Everything around him seemed to have changed, and just as he was sighing, Kevin Lestrange's voice sounded in his ears.

"Isn't this the change you wanted? Even though it obviously seems a little off now, it is a change after all."

"When I came here a year ago, my classmates were still silly and cute, living out unrealistic fantasies every day."

"And all kinds of silly imaginations about magic, but I found that they seemed unwilling to learn, even if the content of learning was changed to magic."

"The vast majority of students still can't be considered hardworking and good students, so it's obvious that magic can't change anything."

As he spoke, Kevin Lestrange slowly turned his head and looked at Carl.

"Or to put it another way, your presence is the real magic."

"Is that so? I haven't even noticed this?" Carl blushed. It was really embarrassing to be praised like this.

But he didn't feel embarrassed for too long. Almost in an instant, he suddenly felt that something was wrong, 50% wrong with 100 points.

Why is this kid so sweet today? There must be something fishy going on. Sure enough, the moment he turned around.

Cedric was seen rushing frantically towards the kitchen which was about to catch fire again, and not far in front of him was a small cake left over from the cafeteria at lunch.

It looked like it was thrown over there by someone. As for who did it, there's no need to say more.

"Tsk!" Kevin Lestrange, who had failed in his attempt, curled his lips in disdain. He could only watch Carl bring back the starving Cedric.

And just as Carl grabbed Cedric by the scruff of the neck and pulled him back, the fire in the kitchen finally burned through the iron pot on the stove.

A large amount of high-temperature cooking oil came into contact with the open flame and exploded directly. The orange-yellow flames directly swept the entire kitchen.

If he had been a second late, Cedric would have turned into a roasted pumpkin.

But this guy didn't appreciate it. He was still thinking about the little cake that was burned to ashes by the fire.

Karl looked at the other person, as if he saw a line of entries above Cedric's head.

"When in hunger state, sanity and IQ drop by 900%."

He had no choice but to stuff Cedric into Kevin Lestrange's hands.

"What are you going to do? I don't want to..." Kevin Lestrange was immediately unhappy.

Carl could only use his ultimate move and lowered his head to whisper in the other party's ear.

"Take care of this bastard. I'll cook for you some lemon and orange flavored cakes."

"That's still..."

"You sleep in my bed tonight."

Without saying a word, Kevin Lestrange took out his wand and waved it skillfully.

A levitation spell directly wrapped around Cedric, and he walked towards the wooden cabin, pulling the pumpkin balloon floating in the air like a child holding a balloon.

After the two men disappeared, Carl turned around and looked at the small kitchen that had been burned to a skeleton.

He shook his head helplessly, then took out a suitcase from his ring, put it on the ground, opened it and got in.

I came to the inside of the suitcase and looked at the clean and tidy executive kitchen in front of me.

Carl nodded in satisfaction, then took a deep breath, put on his kitchen clothes and started working.

He waved his hands gently in the air, as if conducting music. As a wizard, it was certainly impossible for him to really cook by himself.

After fully communicating with his wild dad, he also learned a lot of cooking magic. After all, his wild dad relied on his delicious food and handsome face.

The old bee was fascinated by him, but as for the trick of kneading dough with four hands in the principal's office, it was a little too inappropriate for children.

Not long after, a fragrance wafted into his nose, and a faint light flickered between Carl's fingers.

He smiled slightly and threw the ingredients in his hand into the air one by one.

In an instant, the ingredients seemed to be given life and began to spin and fly in the air.

“Begin to play.”
