Hogwarts: The Wizarding World's First Capitalist

Chapter 36 Limitations of Smart People

Looking at the integral number, 5250, Carl felt something was not right. He wanted to greet the family of the system with beautiful words.

But thinking that it had no family left, he could only bear it and turned around to take the Hufflepuff students with him.

Getting ready to go to the afternoon classroom.

In order to restore his image along the way, Carl did his best to chat and laugh with his classmates, being both humorous and gentle and considerate.

But the most important thing is to put the blame for his own anger on Professor Snape.

There is Charms class in the afternoon, and two classes are connected together. After arriving at the classroom.

Professor Flitwick stood on a tall pile of books and called the roll, because this class was for Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff together.

So the roll call time is a bit long, and the seats in the classroom are also very interesting.

The distinction is really clear. It seems that the Ravenclaw students don't think much of the Hufflepuff badger.

In fact, it is normal to think that these self-proclaimed smart intellectuals always have this bad habit of being overambitious but lacking the ability to achieve their goals.

Carl understood this, but that didn't mean he wasn't angry.

However, out of respect for Professor Flitwick, he did not lose his temper on the spot. Instead, he acted like a good student, attending class quietly and waiting for the opportunity.

Spells are the basis of everything, and learning spells is not just for mastering magic.

Its position in the magical world is more like that of mathematics in science and engineering. It is a tool subject and the foundation of everything.

Only when you have mastered a certain number of spells can you apply what you have learned to other situations and begin to have your own understanding of magic.

Professor Flitwick's teaching method is very interesting. Although he is not tall, he speaks in a humorous way and is full of positive passion.

The way he speaks is very contagious.

"Today we are going to learn the most basic spell, the "Illumination Spell". It is very simple. The spell is Lumos!"

"Pay attention to the pronunciation, which must be standard. Also, pay attention to my gestures. Watch my gestures carefully."

Perhaps it was because Professor Flitwick took into consideration that Hufflepuff students generally came from Muggle families during their teaching.

The details were repeated so many times that some Ravenclaw students seemed a little bored.

However, since Professor Flitwick is the head of Ravenclaw, these people did not dare to be too presumptuous.

They just gathered together and whispered to each other.

Such unfriendly behavior naturally aroused the indignation of the little badgers, and Professor Flitwick on the stage couldn't help feeling a little embarrassed.

Acts of contempt between the four major colleges happened from time to time, and he had always tried his best to avoid such occurrences.

But things always develop in the bad direction. In distress, he scratched his already sparse hair.

But he didn't say anything to stop it, which made Carl very unhappy. He was already very angry during lunch.

Why am I being looked down upon for coming to class? So Professor Flitwick let everyone practice freely.

The classroom suddenly became noisy, with the sound of chanting spells rising and falling.

The students of Ravenclaw were the first to complete the spell. It must be said that these people are really smart.

For them, casting this simple magic is a piece of cake.

On the other hand, the Hufflepuff students had different postures, but no one succeeded. The best performing student was Hannah.

She successfully made the tip of her wand emit a little white fluorescence.

This scene, unsurprisingly, attracted the ridicule of the Ravenclaw students, a young wizard from a magical family.

He even stood up, pointed at Hannah and smiled.

"Look at her. Look at the light on the top of his wand. The butts of the fireflies in my yard are brighter than hers."

After he finished speaking, the other students immediately started laughing, whereas before they had just laughed silently.

He was now laughing without restraint, and Professor Flitwick immediately came over to stop him.

"You can't talk like that, Mr. Robert. What you said is very rude. Because of this, Ravenclaw will deduct 10 points."

The Hufflepuff students all nodded in appreciation of Professor Flitwick's fairness, some even gloating.

But for Carl, this was far from enough. He stood up, left his seat and walked slowly to Mr. Robert.

Because of his age, he was two heads taller than the other person, and he looked down at the other person.

His eyes were filled with a coldness that was compounded by a friendly temperament that he had accumulated over many years of struggling (developing a gang) in New York.

Robert was frightened by Karl’s eyes, his body kept shrinking back, and he asked with a trembling voice.

"What do you want to do? This is a classroom. Beating up classmates in Hogwarts is a very serious offense."

“Classmate!” Karl smiled disdainfully, “When you just said that and insulted that lady.”

"Why didn't you think of it? She is your classmate."

With just one sentence, the atmosphere in the classroom immediately became tense, and Professor Flitwick quickly ran over with his short legs.

Pulling Karl’s sleeve, he said seriously.

"Mr. Hohenzollern, I will take care of this matter. I will never allow us to use violence in my class."

"And please also understand that violence will never be respected. I understand your anger."

"Can you understand my anger?" Carl didn't beat the guy, but turned to look at Professor Flitwick.

You can bow slightly to show respect to the other person, but you can speak in a rather unfriendly way.

"I will always respect you, Professor. Your integrity and fairness are enough to earn the respect of everyone in our college."

"But my anger is not only because my classmates have been insulted for no reason, but also because of the wisdom of Ravenclaw."

"It seems to have disappeared into the dust of history, leaving behind only an empty shell, a lifeless shell."

As he spoke, Carl slowly walked to the open space in front of the podium under the gaze of Professor Flitwick and his classmates.

He took out his wand and raised it above his head.

"It's a fluorescent spell. No one has innovated it in thousands of years. How sad it is. Magic has stopped developing."

“It makes people look hopeless. Although it is extremely gorgeous, it is a dead body. It’s just that the process of decay is so long.”

Having said that, he turned his gaze towards Mr. Robert again and said with a sneer.

"Your name is Robert. What a coincidence. You have been mocking the Muggle-born students in our house since the beginning of the class."

"History is such a coincidence. In this country, nearly two centuries ago, there was also a man named Robert."

"He mocked a great man. Don't doubt it. They are all Muggles, but he was the one being mocked."

“I am not like the smart people here who would shrink back when faced with difficulties. Instead, I face them head-on.”

"He has created his own great cause. Coincidentally, he also has his own views on light. Let me imitate him and open your eyes."

"At the same time, I must tell you the name of that great man, Isaac Newton."
