Hogwarts: The Wizarding World's First Capitalist

Chapter 122: The Pathetic Double Agent Professor Snape

"What do you mean?" Professor Snape was a little confused after hearing this.

Carl seemed very interested and continued to speak.

"I once spent some time in a gang in New York, and there was a very vivid scene."

"There was an older gang member, we all called him Old Jack, at a normal gathering."

"There was a very smart black boy who found him and asked him for some detailed methods of highway robbery."

"As a result, the old man just squinted his eyes at the other party and said calmly, John, you shouldn't come to me for advice on these issues."

"You are very smart. You should study more and eventually go to college to become a lawyer or doctor. Then you can legally rob everyone and never be punished by the law."

After Carl finished speaking, Professor Snape fell completely silent. Under Carl's influence, he read a lot of books about the Muggle world.

He also understood the operating logic of the current Muggle world, and of course he understood that there were many unreasonable and exploitative phenomena in that world.

But the feeling obtained from those words, no matter how profound, is not as frightening as Carl's short sentence.

Carl, however, seemed to not care at all about what the other person was thinking and continued to speak to himself.

"So, after that moment, I completely understood what I wanted to do, you know, to achieve my ultimate goal."

"What should I do? I will lead this magical world forward and establish a complete system."

"Then it will be a natural progression for all wizards to become my slaves, and the process will be completely legal. They won't even be aware of the change in their identities."

At the end of the day, Carl's behavior was a little crazy, like a kid who got a high score on an exam.

Walk up to Professor Snape and start showing off.

"How about it? Do you feel scared after listening to this? Don't worry, I am just imitating 'certain people'."

"After all, it is quite difficult to surpass those people, after all, the degree of their evil methods and the degree of their perverted behavior."

"Personally, I'm not at that level yet."

After showing off, Carl sat back in his seat and looked at Professor Snape quietly, as if waiting for his praise.

Professor Snape stood there in a daze for who knows how long before he turned his head mechanically and said to Carl with some self-mockery.

"Before Dumbledore, he wanted me to keep a close eye on you and not let you get involved in dark magic, so as to prevent you from being attracted by the power and losing your way."

"Now it seems that the old man doesn't understand you at all, compared to Grindelwald and even Voldemort."

"You are much worse and more frightening."

"Thank you for the compliment." Carl responded happily again, and then said calmly.

"Okay, now we are talking to each other, can you make this potion?"

"Of course." Professor Snape nodded calmly, but he seemed to still have doubts.

"But this potion can only be used to control the dead. It cannot enhance the strength of those people. I want to increase the power of the dead."

"I don't know how to do that level of black magic, and I can't do it. I'm afraid no one in this world can do it either."

"As for the person who has heard of this kind of dark magic, I think the only one in this world, besides Voldemort, is Dumbledore."

"What are you going to do?"

"Simple." Karl smiled indifferently, pointed at himself and said calmly.

"I can learn. Just follow my instructions. Don't worry about the rest. I will definitely find a way."

To Professor Snape, these words sounded like outrageous talk, but he did not refute them. He just looked at Carl quietly.

He asked his next question.

"Okay, I will believe you can do it for now, so what's next? The premise of Voldemort's entire plan is to lure Dumbledore away."

"I think you might have been deceived by the old man's appearance. He is not so easy to deal with."

"In comparison, Dumbledore is far more troublesome than Voldemort."

"What about this question?" Carl paused deliberately, then said with a meaningful expression.

"On the contrary, it is much simpler. It doesn't necessarily mean something major has happened for Headmaster Dumbledore to leave the school."

"Can't he go see an old friend whom he has always wanted to see but has never been able to?"

"I already have someone for this, you don't have to worry."

After Carl answered two questions in a row with a nonchalant attitude, Professor Snape put away the parchment without further ado.

He was about to get up to see the guest off, but Karl grabbed his arm. He motioned for him to sit down, then looked at him with some embarrassment and said.

"But before that, someone must assure that old man that Hogwarts is absolutely safe, otherwise it may not be possible."

"Also, we need to increase the intensity of Voldemort, making him lose his mind, or at least a little crazy, and his strength must also be enhanced."

"Otherwise, I would have no sense of accomplishment if I killed him."

Hearing this, Professor Snape's heart skipped a beat. He looked at Carl dimly, but Carl just smiled at him.

With eye contact, no words are needed.

Professor Snape was immediately unhappy. He suddenly stood up and shouted while gasping for breath.

"No, why must I be the one to do this kind of double agent work? Is it in the minds of the two of you, one old and one young?"

"Am I born to do such shady things? Could it be that in your eyes, I don't care about my personal image at all?"

Faced with the questioning, Karl was also a little embarrassed. He touched his lips and took out another piece of paper from his pocket helplessly.

He said apologetically as he handed it to Professor Snape.

"It's up to you to do this. After all, Harry is involved, and I need someone to protect her safety."

"Harry!!!"

Professor Snape jumped up suddenly, stared at Carl angrily and spoke bluntly.

"You never told me that you would let Harry get involved. Why are you so arrogant?"

"You are going too far, Mr. Hohenzollern, by treating everyone as your pawns."

Karl was not afraid of the other person's eyes at all, and said calmly.

"Because only Harry can get the Philosopher's Stone. You and I both know this. Without the Philosopher's Stone, the play cannot go on."

"What you have to do."

After saying that, Carl stood up and prepared to leave, while Professor Snape sat in his seat in a daze.

He watched the other person's back disappear from his sight, then suddenly clenched his fist and slammed it hard on the table. With a loud bang, he roared angrily.

"Asshole, a little asshole and an old asshole, if you say you two have nothing to do with each other, I'll be the first one to not believe it."

But after cursing, he could only helplessly put away the paper on the table without even reading the contents of the paper.

It is the secret of the Mirror of Erised, which can be regarded as a token of allegiance prepared by the other party for Voldemort.

But what he didn't expect was that under the paper, there was a note with a line of complicated mathematical formulas written on it.

The result of the math formula is 0, and there is a line of text underneath.

"I used your mathematical formula to calculate the relationship between you and Harry. The result may be different from your calculation."

"She trusts you now, dear professor. Sometimes you may win more by not being so rational."
