Tomb Raider Bronze Door Twins

Chapter 1 A Blank Little Mute

The moment the huge bronze door opened, a figure walked out of it, and a huge gale blew over Changbai Mountain.

The rumbling sound of the wind rang in my ears, and the sun was rising in the distance, finally illuminating the face hidden in the shadow of the hood.

His face was so clear and elegant, as if it was drawn with one stroke, without any extra lines, and his expressionless face seemed to be out of this world.

But this face is not exactly the same as Zhang Qiling's. The features are very similar, but one point should be deducted because it lacks the most important charm.

Looking at the world with indifference,

He didn't.

Those beautiful eyes were clearly eagerly absorbing the beauty of the world.

The air in the early morning was indeed cold, and an ordinary person would feel a stinging pain in their lungs after taking a breath, but his eyelashes only trembled slightly and he quickly prepared to leave this place.

The bronze door behind him closed heavily, and then as if it had never appeared, letting the wind and snow sweep away the last traces of it left on the ground.

He didn't know who he was, his past was completely blank. After a brief moment of confusion, he mechanically left shallow footprints on the snow.

Dressed in all black, he stood out against the snowy world. The knife on his back was not clearly visible under the protection of its scabbard, but it was humming faintly.

Walking blindly in the mountains seemed very dangerous, but fortunately most animals were in hibernation, and safety was greatly improved during the day. Soon he reached the main road and walked along the flat asphalt road visible in front of him.

Then... he was a little at a loss when he suddenly broke into the village, as if it was the first time he saw people, or maybe it was because there were so many people, but there was no sign of panic on his expressionless face.

But his pace began to hesitate, and the next second he walked towards the deserted streets, as if he wanted to get out of the dense crowd and get some time to catch his breath.

Suddenly, he heard the melodious and pleasant sound of a erhu. Although he did not have most common sense, he could generally distinguish good music from bad.

But at this moment, it was not him who was getting closer to the sound of the erhu, but the other party was moving the instrument towards here, getting closer and closer!

A sense of crisis made him immediately draw the black gold ancient sword behind him. It was a moment of peace in the bustling city, separated only by a wall from the sound of music.

The person opposite chuckled across the wall, and suddenly the sound of the strings stopped, and the erhu flew towards him directly.

In an instant, he had already raised his knife to split the erhu. At this moment, the man opposite climbed over the wall, his superior long legs drew a beautiful arc, and he made a neat and eye-catching appearance.

The erhu that was cut in half was stepped on by the man...

The man was wearing sunglasses and had a ruffian face. He was wearing a stylish leather jacket, but he didn't speak politely:

"Dumb, long time no see."

After saying that, the man with black glasses silently kicked away his iron rice bowl, the erhu, and scratched his nose as if nothing had happened.

He was suddenly stunned. This person... seemed to know him?

The man with black glasses stopped smiling and stared at him for a long while. He was very familiar with this face, but at this moment he felt that there was something indescribable sense of incongruity, which was difficult to figure out in a short period of time.

He had already made full use of the advantage of his long legs and began to attack the mute, so the mute quickly turned his wrist to avoid the blade from touching the black-glasses' left leg, and instead used his arm to block and instantly put the knife back into the sheath.

The other party chose physical combat, but it was a bit unreasonable for him to hold a knife.

Just as he blocked the leg attack, the man with black glasses changed his body shape again and attacked with his legs, but he retracted his legs and changed them into fists in an instant.

He didn't expect that his subconscious dodge would be so fast, as if his body instinct had finally activated, and he dodged downwards and punched out. Unfortunately, the man with black glasses was very skilled, so his fist could only turn when it was about to touch the pile of glasses inside the leather jacket.

The man with black glasses' fist didn't even touch his edge. After several rounds, the two men couldn't touch each other except for the first move at the beginning.

Black Glasses was tired and waved his hand to indicate a truce. He had realized something during the process, as if the mute had forgotten all his skills. He only realized it during the second move: (Ah, my body's reaction was so fast that I had such a slow and stupid idea.)

He had forgotten things before, but never like this, forgetting even his own skills.

He narrowed his eyes behind his glasses in thought, trying to find out the sense of disharmony from his observation. Under the gaze of the black glasses, the mute finally spoke. It seemed that he had not spoken for too long, and his voice was a little hoarse, "You know me."

The question sentence is still pronounced in the tone of a declarative sentence, which is so familiar.

Uncomfortable... familiar?

The two feelings kept colliding, and even Black Glasses couldn't decide for a moment.

"I know him." The man with black glasses raised the corners of his lips, "And we are unusually familiar with each other~", with an upturned ending, leaving some room for infinite reverie, and then he took the initiative to move closer, wanting to put his arm around his shoulders to get closer to him.

The mute did not rush to ask more questions, but he felt the subconscious disgust in his heart because of the man with black glasses' actions. He turned around and pretended to pick up the erhu, and innocently shook off the other person's arm.

His face hidden in the shadows was so calm, "Who am I?"

He finally uttered a question.

The man with black glasses remained mysterious as usual and stopped talking but still had a smile on his face. Until he suddenly discovered that strange point in Zhang Qiling, he suddenly retracted his smile, looking a little strange and distant.

He turned around and left, as if he had made up his mind.

The mute was alone and disheveled in the wind: ...

There was a blank self standing in the confused world. The bird on the eaves started chirping and suddenly became speechless and tilted its head to look at him. Their eyes met, and there was an indescribable resonance.

As a person with no identity, no memory, and no home, the customs in Northeast China prevent people from going out after dark, which gives him plenty of time to observe the world.

But before the sunset, the sky was suddenly covered by a dark cloud as if with the tide!

The ground was shaking slightly, and all the houses that had been brightly lit turned off their lights. This frequency...

He squatted down and placed two extremely long fingers on the ground. The hard snow melted very quickly, and almost the moment his fingers fell, they touched the black soil. This melting was so strange, as if... something was generating heat underground.

Suddenly he withdrew his hand and ran towards the deep mountains where the shaking was most violent, the wind rustling past his ears.

His long legs moved so fast that he almost reached the huge cliff where the source had collapsed. The side walls were smooth, and it would have been difficult to get down without ropes or other tools. But he pulled out his knife and quickly jumped down without a moment's hesitation!

The knife was stuck on the cliff wall and he let himself slide down. It was pitch black below the cliff. When his feet touched the ground, he remembered that he had no lighting tools and was not prepared at all. He just rushed down based on an intuition that came from nowhere.

As he was thinking this, he suddenly saw a blue-green will-o'-the-wisp fire light up in front of him. Without any hesitation, he drew his sword and slashed across.

The sword energy was compelling, and the object made a bright sound, and the thing instantly fell to the ground with a clang. He had already known that it was not a fire, but a ghost fire burning in the mouth of a skeleton wearing armor.

Suddenly, the surroundings became brighter and brighter, and more and more skeleton knights illuminated the entire bottom of the cliff.

It would have been easy to chop them all off, but he didn't kill the Skeleton Knight immediately.

He just dodged and tried not to smash them completely, and then used the light to observe the bottom of the cliff. Sure enough, after seeing what he wanted to see, he chopped the skeletons to death without any hesitation, and finally carried an intact skull that was left behind to check the mechanism.

Skull: Thank you for leaving me with my head.

The mechanism is a skull, but it is much smaller than the skeletons just killed. It looks like the skull of a three-year-old child.

He reached his hand into the skull's mouth and felt the space inside. There were many densely packed thin wires that were extremely sharp, but he seemed to be very skilled in pulling off a few wires that he thought were important, and then with a click, the stone door opened.

He looked at his hands and felt as if he must have done this many times to be so proficient in it, but he couldn't figure it out, so he had to give up trying to recall.

Suddenly, before I could take a step, I heard a human cry behind me, "I'm gone! Hey, save me!!!" The voice sounded very young, but the speed of falling was very fast.

When he heard the name "young man", his body paused for a moment, and then he instinctively rushed to the bottom of the cliff and caught the young man who fell because half of the rope failed.

The young man in his arms was visibly stunned when he saw his face, then he looked up and then looked at him again. His frightened state of mind was tangible and solidified on his handsome little face.

Then he quickly pushed him away, but because of the weight of the backpack, he fell backwards and fell directly into the pile of bones, his butt hurting so much that he cried out in pain.

The familiar sound of a knife coming from above came quickly, with an anxious tone, exactly the same as the sound of the ancient black gold knife stabbing into the cliff wall.

Instantly he saw the figure of the man sliding down after inserting the knife, and because the other party was holding a flashlight, he could accurately hit his face even during the sliding process.

The man suddenly stopped being anxious, and he was able to see the other person's appearance clearly.

I measured the clothes and body shape.

The little mute had a blank expression on his face, and thought to himself, "So that's how it is." Then, suddenly, he realized that they seemed to be wearing the same clothes, and he got it!

The young man sitting on the pile of bones didn’t understand his mental state: My face turned pale with fright!!!
