Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 55: The Birth of Xiaolong

The next morning, Hephis found Hermione as soon as possible.

Just when he was about to tell Hermione the reason he had been thinking about all night.

Hermione just hugged him and said gently, "I hope you come back safely."

As for reasons, Hermione didn't need any.

She could tell something was fishy from the note Dumbledore left her.

How urgent must the situation be that there is not even time to send a verbal message?

Since Dumbledore chose to conceal it, then this matter was obviously not something she could know.

Even if you force an answer out of Hephaestus, it will most likely be false.

In that case, it’s better not to ask.

Also, she learned from her mother since she was a child that men should give themselves enough space and not ask too many questions.

So she just gently placed food on Hephis's plate and talked about study and nothing else.

Hephes was a little uneasy.

But all that disappeared with Hermione's gentle kiss.

Snape was much more difficult to deal with.

He cursed at him fiercely, and his spit was sprayed all over Hephesus' face.

Hephis was very glad. This was the case in Britain, where there were very few swear words and people could only use a few sentences.

With Snape's level, he is not even considered a younger brother in China.

Not even one-tenth of his skills when he played PUBG.

But listening to the words, he was still touched by Snape's deep worry and concern.

Snape finally calmed down and gave Hephis a full body examination.

It directly shocked Snape for 100 years.

He stared at Hephes for a long time, unable to speak.

"It seems you don't need strengthening potions now." There was a hint of relief and a hint of loss in Snape's tone.

But Hephis shook his head firmly: "Professor Snape, I need it."

In fact, with this experience of swallowing the dragon egg shadow, he has found a way to become stronger.

But interpersonal relationships are like this: I ask you to do something, and you ask me for help, and our relationship will become closer and closer.

Without the bond of interest, the relationship will only become more and more distant.

If there is a ranking of Hephis' trust in this world, Snape deserves to be in the top three.

Snape was silent for a moment. "A new potion is still brewing. I will continue testing it."

"Professor, the strengthening potion you researched is not just for me, but for all wizards, and even all mankind." Hephis said seriously.

Snape's eyes flashed, and he said sharply, "What do you want to do?"

"I can't say for sure now. The plan is not perfect yet, or the conditions are insufficient. But I promise that you will go down in history because of this." Hephis said in a deep voice.

"I don't care about leaving a name in history." Snape said disdainfully.

"I care."

"I will continue to develop the strengthening potion." Snape said solemnly, "but I hope you don't go the wrong way."

"Aren't you still watching?" Hephis said with a smile.

"What can I do to you?" Snape snorted coldly.

"Professor, I did a risk assessment this time, and I drank the Felixir in advance. It made me feel good, so I dared to try it." Hefeth explained helplessly.

"The Felicity Potion isn't a panacea. How much do you have left?"

"Uh... that's it." Hephis was a little embarrassed.

"That's enough for ten times, and you drank it all at once. Are you crazy? No wonder you are so arrogant and reckless." Snape felt like he was going to explode.

"One drop. I drank one drop at that time." Hephis explained hurriedly.

"Where's the rest?"

"Theodore saw me fainting and fed me all the potions he had prepared, including the Felicis," Hephis said a little embarrassedly.

"I still have some stock. I'll give it to you later. Don't use it carelessly." Snape warned viciously.

"Love you, professor." Hephis was delighted. Felicis was a good thing.

"Get out of here," Snape said unhappily.

"Okay, I'll leave right away." Hephis walked out happily.

"Let me know next time you do something risky."

"Okay, Professor." Hephis waved at Snape.

For the next two days, Hephis was getting familiar with his new body. The more he used it, the more comfortable it became.

Theodore couldn't stand it anymore.

As far as magic is concerned, he was only about the same level as the Hogwarts graduates before, but now he is far superior to them.

The increase in his physical strength brought about all-round improvements in speed, strength, and body control.

Hephis now even dares to compete with Snape, provided that Snape does not use potions.

One day, Hephes was eating breakfast when a fat little gray-brown chicken flew in front of him.

A note was brought with it, which said: It's about to hatch.

It's finally about to hatch. A dragon can only be fleeced once.

He has to pull it out every day and every month.

He looked up at the Gryffindor table.

It seemed that Harry and the others had also received the letter, and they were whispering excitedly.

Hermione happened to meet Hephis's eyes, and the two of them smiled at each other tacitly.

The four of them met, and at Ron's strong request, Hermione finally agreed to go to Hagrid's Villa together during the morning break.

Hephis was very calm this time. As long as the little dragon could break out of its shell, he didn't care whether he watched it or not.

Gryffindor was in Herbology class, and they were closer to Hagrid's, so Hephis was the last to arrive.

As soon as Hagrid let Heffies in, he said excitedly, "It's almost out."

Hephis and the other three huddled together, waiting for the birth of the little dragon.

The dragon egg was now placed on the table, covered with cracks.

With a series of "cracking" sounds, the dragon egg cracked.

A wrinkled little dragon waddled onto the table.

Much uglier than what Hephis saw in the Twilight Zone.

The two wings covered with spikes were still flapping.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" muttered Hagrid.

He stretched out a finger and touched the little dragon's head.

The little dragon bit his finger, revealing two pairs of sharp teeth.

"Oh my God, it knows me, it knows I'm its mother!" said Hagrid in surprise.

Hephis rolled his eyes when he heard this. This reaction could not be considered a friendly gesture.

Suddenly, as if with a sixth sense, Hephis turned his head and saw a window without a curtain.

One eye was meeting his.

Hephis ran out without hesitation.

Then I saw a golden head running away.

Hephis used his shadow to move behind Draco and immobilized Draco.

He patted Draco's shoulder, "Why are you running?"

Draco, on the other hand, had a look of horror on his face. "You can't. I...my dad is the school director."

Draco's tone is wrong! He doesn't sound like the arrogant Lord of Change at all.

"Am I that scary?" Hephes touched his face helplessly.

"But...it's not scary." Draco said timidly.
