Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 43: Conquering Weir and Vanasa

Hephis looked at Vanassa's memory again.

Because Vanessa failed to enter Hogwarts at the age of eleven, she was abandoned by the Prewett family.

As one of the twenty-eight sacred families, the Prewett family believes in the theory of pure blood, and a Dumb is a disgrace to them.

After being abandoned by her family, Vanasa almost died on the street. Fortunately, she was adopted by a kind-hearted woman and survived.

In the Muggle world, she studied hard, was eventually admitted to a military academy, and graduated with honors.

Thirteen years ago, her adoptive father transferred Vanasha to the "Ninth District", and the mission of the Ninth District was to study wizards.

It turns out that when she was little, she told her adoptive parents a lot about the wizarding world.

Her adoptive mother thought it was just a child's fairy tale dream and didn't take it seriously.

But her adoptive father was a high-ranking military official. He had heard rumors about wizards and had extracted a lot of information from Vanasha.

Her adoptive father then handed the information to the cabinet.

But due to the obstruction of the president at the time, the 9th district was not established.

It was not until 13 years ago that Voldemort caused chaos and affected the Muggle world.

The British top brass agreed and established the ninth district.

As the only Squib, Vanassa passed the test of loyalty and became one of the important leaders of District 9.

Her mission is to identify witches and wizards through experience and capture them.

She claimed to have a special fetish and liked virgin boys, so the Vulture Gang always sent her "lost" boys.

In fact, these children are being adopted secretly.

If one of them could enter Hogwarts to study, it would be a very profitable thing.

She hated herself for being a Squib, and she hated wizards even more.

But she also hopes that the experiment will be successful so that she can learn and master magic. After all, squibs also have magical powers.

Hephis decided that these two men must be captured. They were useful, very useful.

He pulled his wand out of the small bag Shadow had just retrieved for him and began to modify the memories of the three.

It is easiest to modify the bodyguard's memory, just delete the relevant ones.

As for why there is amnesia? Look at the bodyguard's pig head, he was beaten and lost his memory.

The memories of the remaining two people are quite troublesome.

Hephaestus is not some god-given master.

It is impossible for me to bow down just because you say a few words. After all, not everyone is Theodore.

Hephis was sweating profusely. During this time, all three of them woke up. They were all knocked unconscious quickly by the black hand and slept peacefully.

Finally he breathed a sigh of relief, the task was accomplished.

There are definitely still problems, after all, he is not very skilled in modifying memory.

But he believed that with his means, it would not be difficult to deepen the conviction of these two people in the future.

He put all three of them into the shadow box and then repaired the camera with a repair spell.

Then he went to Vanasa's office and deleted all the surveillance records.

And caused a small spark to the memory card, rendering it completely useless.

The cell's surveillance system is independent and connected only to this computer.

After Hephis finished all this, he fed the two of them recovery potions.

He sat on a chair to rest. Modifying memories can really make a person exhausted.

The two of them woke up quickly and all the injuries on their bodies disappeared.

"Master." The two men knelt respectfully in front of Hephes, their eyes full of awe.

"Well, you two performed very well and passed this test of loyalty." Hephis nodded with satisfaction.

"Thank you, Master." They said in unison.

"Vanasha, my appearance was captured by the camera. You are responsible for deleting all the camera videos near the South Kensington business district in recent days." Hephis ordered.

"Yes, Master."

"Will, Hunter has been killed. This is a good opportunity to get promoted. I will deal with your two enemies and help you become the leader of the Vulture Gang." Hephis turned to Will and said.

"Thank you for your help, Master." Will replied respectfully.

"By the way, Will. I have something here. Find a suitable factory to manufacture it. Don't forget to register the patent."

Hephis threw the note in his hand to Will.

"I'll do it right away." Will replied immediately after taking the note.

"Well, I want to see the finished product in six days, at least 5,000 pieces, understand?"

"Yes, Master."

"Okay, let's get to work."

"Master, what happened to Kaman?" Vanasha asked puzzledly.

"Nothing. I saw you fainted and thought you were attacked, so I taught you a lesson." Hephis said calmly.

"I deserve to die. It's all because of my poor education." Vanasha said in panic and knelt down again.

"Considering his loyalty, I'll give him a light punishment and a severe warning." Hephes said, waving his hand.

"Thank you, Master." Vanasa said gratefully.

"Vir, I'll come find you in six days."

"Yes, master." Will nodded and replied.

After that, Hephes returned home, ate something casually, and fell asleep. He had overworked his brain.

Over the next two days, Hephis eliminated the other two leaders of the Vulture Gang, clearing the way for Will.

“Puff…Puff…”

A chubby chicken with a round face was flapping its wings against the window.

Hephis quickly opened the window, and a gust of cold wind blew in, making him shiver.

An owl flew in, still dotted with snow.

Hephis gently placed it next to the fireplace and prepared some dried fish for it to have a good rest.

It turns out that today is Christmas, and this owl brought Hermione's Christmas gift.

Hephis slapped his forehead and thought, he had forgotten about it.

Fortunately, there was a ready-made owl. He quickly conjured up an exquisite gift box, put the necklace in it, and attached a note to the box.

"You should have a good rest first. When you have recovered your strength, can you help me deliver the gift?" Hephis said softly to the owl.

The owl looked at the gift in his hand, then looked at the dried fish beside him, and nodded.

"Thank you, please give it to Hermione for me." Hephis put the gift next to the owl.

Hermione's gift was a knitted wool scarf. Looking at the irregular stitches, it must have been knitted by Hermione herself.

Hephis put it directly around his neck and felt the warmth on it.

Liking someone may be difficult, but sometimes, it is very simple.

Maybe it was the feeling at that moment that was grasped tightly and unconsciously put into the heart, and from then on it was destined to belong to someone.

The owl finally had enough rest and its feathers became fluffy again.

It gave a joyful cry, grabbed its presents, and prepared to go.

Hephes quickly opened the window, and the owl flapped its wings and disappeared into the falling snow.

Snow fluttered outside the window. Hephis was leaning against the fireplace alone, stroking his scarf gently with his left hand.

His somewhat cold heart softened again.

His body and mind felt much more relaxed, and he curled up on the sofa and fell into a deep sleep.
