Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 33: Demolish the House, Demolish the House

"Hagrid, we want to give you an early Christmas present. I wonder if you are willing to accept it." Hephis said.

Hagrid was very happy. Except for a few professors and the headmaster, he hadn't received Christmas gifts from anyone for a long time.

"Of course I'd accept it! I'm really happy that you thought of me." Hagrid looked happy.

"Since you agree, we will tear down your house." Hephis said deliberately.

When Hagrid heard this, he was stunned.

Isn't it a Christmas gift? Why did he tear down the house? Where will he live after the house is torn down?

"No, Hephis, you just said to demolish the house?"

"Yes, Hagrid. We plan to build you a new house." Hephis explained.

Hagrid said, shaking his big head a little embarrassedly.

"No, no, I think this house is good enough. There's no need to go through so much trouble."

"Hagrid, you just promised me that you would accept my Christmas present."

Hagrid hesitated for a moment, but he was a man of his word, and since he had already agreed, he could not go back on his word.

"Okay then, what do I need to do?"

"Hagrid, let's move the things out of the house and tear it down. We have the building materials to build you a new house."

Theodore got all these building materials, and of course he paid for it.

He also asked Theodore to get a lot of special furniture from the Muggle world.

The frames of these furniture are made of steel and the surfaces are covered with solid wood, which makes them both sturdy and beautiful.

They started to get busy.

First, he used the levitation spell to empty all the things in the house, and then used the shattering spell repeatedly to violently demolish the house.

Although they made a lot of noise, Hagrid's hut was far away from Hogwarts Castle, so the little wizards didn't discover it.

However, it alarmed Dumbledore who was in the headmaster's office on the eighth floor.

Soon he appeared next to Hagrid's ruined hut.

"Good morning. Hagrid, Mr. Dame, Miss Granger, Mr. Nott." Dumbledore greeted with a smile and asked puzzledly, "What are you doing?"

Everyone responded one after another.

"Principal, of course we demolished the house," Hefeth said.

"I know you are demolishing the house, but why are you doing it?" Dumbledore was very patient.

"We're going to team up and build Hagrid a new house as a Christmas present."

"That's a wonderful idea. Is there anything I can do to help?"

There is free labor, no need to be a fool.

"Principal, please wait a moment."

After saying that, Hephis poured out everything in the small bag.

"Principal, we need these materials to build a house. And here are the architectural drawings. I will explain them to you in detail."

Dumbledore was Dumbledore indeed. After listening to it only once, he understood the entire construction process.

He began to work skillfully, and soon the foundation was laid. Bricks, cement, steel frames, pipes, everything was perfectly integrated together by him.

Soon, a beautiful two-story villa rose from the ground.

Headmaster Dumbledore also cast a reinforcement spell to make the house stronger.

Dumbledore is so strong that he can handle such high-intensity distraction manipulation with ease.

"Principal, if you become a construction worker, you will make a lot of money." Hefeth joked.

"This is indeed a good suggestion. When I retire, I might really try it." Headmaster Dumbledore responded with a smile.

The villa has been built, but it can only be considered a rough house and still needs interior decoration.

Hefes took out another decoration drawing.

She explained it to Dumbledore in detail, staring at him with stars in her eyes.

It seems to be saying: Come on, please continue your performance.

Dumbledore smiled slightly and took up the brush to paint around the house.

As for the four of them, they just happened to be there to watch the show.

Admiring Dumbledore waving his wand continuously, like a conductor, calm and elegant.

The villa was painted very quickly and it looked very beautiful.

Finally, they walked into Hagrid's new house together.

Outside the villa, the white walls and red roof look very simple.

Inside the villa, there are light grey walls and orange accents.

The floor is paved with blue-gray marble blocks that are three centimeters thick.

Hefeth began to take things out of the bag again.

Some commonly used furniture and decorative picture frames.

There are all kinds of magical creatures in the picture frame, and they are all moving.

Hagrid was so moved when he saw them that he even kept wiping away tears.

He took out a worn handkerchief and put it on his nose, the sound was as loud as a train whistle.

"Hagrid, please accept our Christmas present for you. Thank you for your help, Headmaster. If it were just a few of us, we might not be able to finish it before dark." Hefeth said to Hagrid with a smile.

"You're welcome. I'm also glad that Hagrid has made friends like you. I'm sure Hagrid will be very satisfied with this Christmas gift."

"Satisfied, satisfied, of course I am very satisfied. Thank you, thank you Heffies, Hermione, Theodore, thank you."

Hagrid began to thank him frantically.

"Hagrid, there's no need to be so polite between friends. Besides, you've helped me a lot, haven't you?"

Hagrid excitedly picked up Hephis, with such force that he could not bear it at all.

"Hagrid, I think you'd better put Hepheth down. He seems to be out of breath." Dumbledore said quickly.

"Oh, sorry, Hephes." Hagrid immediately put Hephes back on the ground.

He was rubbing his hands like a child who had made a mistake, except that this child was three meters tall.

"It's okay, Hagrid, no need to apologize." Hephis resisted the urge to rub Hagrid's shoulders and patted his big hand.

"I must take my leave, Hagrid, and the children," said Dumbledore.

"Thank you for your help, Principal. By the way, Christmas is coming soon, what kind of gift would you like?" Hephis asked.

"Can I get a present too? I love wool socks, and people always give me books, but all I want is a pair of thick wool socks."

"Good professor."

Dumbledore left with a smile on his face.

Hermione began to patiently introduce to Hagrid the various facilities and functions of the house.

In fact, it is the instructions for using some magic tools, such as magic lamps, magic fireplaces, etc.

There is also a shower room. The water tank has its own heating effect, but Hagrid needs to add water into it himself.

Although it was a bit troublesome, Hagrid was very happy.

He had been bathing in the Black Lake for nearly fifty years and had never enjoyed a hot bath at home.

Hagrid warmly invited them to have lunch together.

But when they saw Hagrid stewing a black mixture of vegetables and meat in the pot, they instantly lost their appetite.

Hephis found a reason and retreated with Hermione and Theodore.
