Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 284 Departure of Postpartum

The little wizards all returned to the castle.

Hephis and Hermione stayed behind.

After all, they hadn't seen each other for a whole summer, and they all missed this big guy a lot.

More importantly, someone’s burning fire of gossip needs to be answered.

"Hagrid, do you have classes later?" Hephis asked.

Hagrid stopped what he was doing and smiled innocently, "All lessons for today are over."

"Then let's go to your place and chat." Hephis suggested.

"Okay!" A happy smile immediately appeared on Hagrid's face, then he realized something and frowned slightly.

"You are already in the fifth grade. Your weekly classes are full. There should be two more classes soon."

Hephis didn't care, "The back is the history of magic, Professor Binns won't find it."

Hermione nodded as well, a naughty smile on her face.

Hagrid thought about it and nodded in agreement.

After all, whether it was Hephis or Hermione, occasionally missing a few classes was no big deal.

So the three of them walked towards Hagrid's house together.

Hagrid went back to his work of making them tea.

When the steaming tea was served, Hephis gave Hermione a wink.

Hermione rolled her eyes and got straight to the point: "Hagrid, how are you and Madame Maxime getting along?"

Hagrid's hands shook as he picked up the teacup, and the scalding tea splashed on his hands, but he didn't care at all.

He smiled awkwardly, a blush on his cheeks: "We...we are fine."

Hephis and Hermione exchanged a look, "Did you meet during the summer vacation?"

Hagrid shook his head. "No, but we keep in touch by letter."

Although Hephis did not see anything unusual on Hagrid's face.

But his intuition told him that this thing would most likely fail.

"Then you didn't take the initiative to go to France to find Madame Maxime?"

Hagrid's face turned even redder, and he stammered, "I, I thought about it, but I didn't dare to go."

Hephis immediately looked disappointed, "Hagrid, I have to say something to you. Of course you have to take the initiative in this matter. How can you let the lady take the initiative?"

"I'm afraid she won't want to see me," whispered Hagrid.

Hephis said firmly, "It doesn't matter whether she wants to see you or not. If you go to Beauxbatons, will she still refuse to receive you?"

He continued, “I want to chase girls, especially French women like Maxime.

You have to be thick-skinned, otherwise she will keep her distance even if she wants to be with you."

Hagrid's eyes gleamed, "Really?"

"Of course. How can we know if it will work or not if you don't make it clear?" Hephis saw that there was a chance and continued to instigate.

Hagrid made up his mind, "Then I'll give it a try when the holidays come."

"Why wait for the holiday? Go this weekend and let Fulla take you."

If I wait until the holiday and Madame Maxime isn't around, wouldn't it be a wasted trip?

"This..." Hagrid pulled his beard, hesitant.

Hephis made the decision directly, "It's settled. I'll go find Fulla."

"Hefeth, wait a minute..." Hagrid needed to think about it again.

But Hephis didn't give him a chance to hesitate and went to find Fulla in a hurry.

When Fulla heard that she was going to help Hagrid pursue Madame Maxime, she excitedly joined the plan.

So Hephis, Hermione and Fulla began to get together to plan how to let Hagrid take down Madame Maxime in one fell swoop.

The three of them were discussing ideas with great interest. Hagrid tried to object several times, but was "ruthlessly" rebuked by Hefeth.

In the end, Hagrid could only sit aside helplessly, looking at them with a wronged look on his face.

Just like a big child who has been "abandoned".

What's going on.

As a major character, how come he doesn't even have the slightest say?

Is this even justified?

The weekend is here again soon.

As the soul of the entire plan, Hephis naturally had to take action personally.

As the makeup artist and guide for this operation, Fulla will also be accompanying the team.

As for Hermione, she just came to join in the fun with the mentality of just being a spectator.

Under Fulla's skillful hands, Hagrid's image was completely renewed.

His originally messy hair was trimmed into a short layered style.

His beard was also carefully trimmed, leaving only a short and neat stubble that perfectly outlined his jaw.

A fitted black leather suit further highlights his strong muscular lines.

Hagrid stood in front of the mirror, looking helplessly at the three people around him who were extremely excited.

Hephis patted Hagrid's big hand.

"Hagrid, cheer up! We must help you today and take down Madame Maxime in one fell swoop."

Hagrid hesitated: "Hefeth, um... I think it's better for me to go alone."

Hephes, however, looked confident:

"No way, I have prepared countless surprises for your proposal, you can't waste my efforts."

"Propose...propose?"

Who proposed?

Hagrid had a head full of question marks.

Wasn’t it just agreed to be a simple meeting and date?

How did it suddenly escalate into a marriage proposal?

How come he doesn't know.

Hephis waved his hand and said, "Don't worry about these little details. Just say what you need to say. I'll take care of the rest."

Hagrid was even more speechless, but his eyes became firm.

Success or failure depends on this one move.

If Madame Maxime disagrees, then it would be good to let him give up the idea completely.

He took a deep breath and nodded heavily: "Thank you, Hephis."

Hephes gave him a big smile in return, and then a halo of golden and red light unfolded in front of them.

He waved his hand and said confidently: "Let's go!"

The four of them passed through the circle of light, and the gate of Beauxbatons School of Magic came into view.

The school is located in the Pyrenees Mountains in southern France. The lush green lawns stretch to the horizon, like a magnificent manor.

The French palace in the center is surrounded by magic gardens, exuding a unique charm of classicism and magic.

Just as Hephis and others were admiring the beautiful scenery, an old lady with silver hair walked quickly towards them.

Fulla recognized her immediately, and excitedly walked up to her and took Adele DuBois's arm.

"Grandma Adele."

Dubois smiled gently and held Fulla's hand: "Little Fulla, you're back."

"Grandma, I brought some friends here, and I wanted to talk to Principal Maxim about some small matters." Fulla said playfully.

Dubois noticed Hagrid at first sight. There was nothing he could do about it; Hagrid's height was so eye-catching.

She whispered in Fulla's ear, "I think you are here to find Olympe. That must be Hagrid. It is indeed very suitable."

"See, see, I think so too." Fulla said proudly.
