Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 253 Percy is attacked

Late one night, Percy Apparated back to the threshold of his residence.

He was about to push open the door of the courtyard, but his steps stopped involuntarily.

The shadow soldiers on his body turned into black shadows.

Under the cover of night, it blends silently into the surrounding darkness.

Percy gripped his wand tightly and raised it high, "Who is it? Come out."

He was responded to by the sounds of spells being cast at different pitches.

"Collapse!"

"Shattered to pieces!"

"All petrified!"

"Confinement quickly!"

"Avada Kedavra!"

More than a dozen spells of different colors attacked Percy.

He waved his wand and a silver-white "Armor Protection" spell was cast.

It instantly wrapped his entire body, as if he was wearing a layer of silver armor.

The black cloak behind him also fluttered, carrying him into the air, and he nimbly dodged attacks from all directions.

At the same time, in the shadows all around, a dozen dark wizards in black robes and with hideous faces no longer hid.

They rushed out from every corner with their wands raised high, casting spells at Percy quickly.

The shadow flame between Percy's brows emerged, and his silver armor became even brighter and three times thicker.

No matter how the spells fell like raindrops, they would only cause sparks to fly and would not be able to penetrate it at all.

Shadow soldiers also rushed out from the shadows and killed the group of dark wizards.

The dark wizards were thrown off balance by this sudden counterattack.

Just as Percy was about to fight back, the temperature around him suddenly dropped and a biting chill spread.

Several huge Dementors with empty eyes appeared silently on the battlefield.

They stretched out their cold fingertips, trying to suck Percy's joy and soul.

Percy forced himself to be happy, his mind quickly reflecting on recent events, especially the pinnacle of power that was so close at hand.

A fire burned in his heart, and he cried out, "Exposurra!"

In an instant, a silver-white vulture flapped its wings and flew out from his magic wand.

Its wingspan was twelve feet, and its body was surrounded by strange black flames.

The vulture rushed straight towards the Dementors, and the silver and black light instantly blew the Dementors into pieces.

The black flames also spread to the Dementors, and their bodies were burned bit by bit.

They panicked and wanted to escape.

But vultures are large birds of prey and are extremely fast.

Several Dementors were quickly surrounded by the vultures and driven together.

The black flames on their bodies became more and more intense, and finally turned into wisps of black smoke and disappeared into the air.

Percy took the opportunity to fight back, waving his wand and casting spells at the enemy below as if they were free.

Under the entanglement of the shadow soldiers, the dark wizards were unable to take care of themselves.

There was no way they could avoid Percy's attack.

They could only hastily use "Iron Armor" for defense.

But Percy's spell, enhanced by the shadow flame, was extremely powerful.

Easily broke their defenses and hit them.

The dark wizards tried to escape, but it was too late.

The shadow soldiers didn't even give him a chance to use Apparition.

Even blocking their escape route at a faster speed.

Accompanied by shrill screams and figures falling down one after another.

In the end, only Percy and the shadow soldiers were left standing on the battlefield.

Percy fired a few more "Knockout" shots at each of the dark wizards who fell to the ground.

Only then did he sit down on the ground and let out a long sigh.

Fortunately, he didn't mess up, otherwise he would have to call for help.

He first put on the wizard robe that was deliberately cut into pieces by a spell.

Then he spilled blood without hesitation.

Disguised himself as a survivor of a brutal battle.

He then sent an emergency signal to the Auror office and Amos Diggory.

Announced the news that he had been attacked by a dark wizard.

Digory had been waiting nearby, and as soon as he received the news, he Apparated directly to the battlefield.

Percy glanced at him, then took out a bottle of strangely colored potion from his arms.

He drank it with a serious expression. In an instant, his face began to distort and his body kept twitching.

Fortunately, the effect of the drug quickly made him fall into coma.

Before he fell into coma, only one sentence came to his mind: anything produced by Snape must be "high-quality".

Just a second before he fell unconscious, a dense series of "puff, puff" sounds were heard around him.

Dozens of Aurors rushed over.

The first thing they did after arriving was to hold up their wands and look around vigilantly.

Then they all fell silent when they saw Percy lying in a pool of blood, surrounded by a dozen dark wizards.

Digory squatted next to Percy first and pretended to cast a few detection spells.

He breathed a sigh of relief, "Fortunately, my life is safe."

"Rabbi, you lead the team to detain these dark wizards and notify Director Bones immediately," Diggory said in a steady voice.

"Remember, no one is allowed to approach these prisoners without direct orders from the Director or Chief Weasley."

He pointed at two more people and said, "You two, come with me and send Director Weasley to St. Gorman's."

The Aurors moved quickly and in an orderly manner.

Percy was carefully loaded onto a stretcher and taken to St. Mungo's Hospital.

At the same time, a reporter from the Daily Prophet in the hospital happened to be interviewing a case related to werewolves.

He happened to see this scene and took a photo of Percy covered in blood and in a coma.

Many reporters have received information from my eldest uncle's sister-in-law's aunt's cousin's fourth uncle who lives in Saint-Gorman.

They picked up their cameras and rushed to the hospital.

However, Percy was still unconscious, and there were Aurors guarding the door.

They could only gather sporadic clues from the medical staff.

But all he got was one sentence: Director Weasley had been attacked and was seriously injured, but his life was no longer in danger.

All kinds of speculations and rumors spread at once.

The next morning.

Major newspapers also reported the shocking incident of Percy being attacked by an unknown attacker.

It was published as the front-page headline on the homepage.

Moreover, this matter took up a large amount of space in the entire newspaper.

Even though they didn't get much definite information, they didn't care at all because there was still a picture.

So all kinds of strange speculations were written in the report.

One of them, a niche newspaper called The Quibbler, was particularly peculiar.

It actually said that Percy was seriously injured because of the battle with the fire elf troops secretly trained by Fudge.

In particular, the fire elf also cast a vicious curse, which caused Percy to remain unconscious.

This seemingly most unreliable guess is actually the closest to the truth.
