Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 216 I believe you

Harry slowly climbed out of the cave, took a deep breath and held it.

He unconsciously folded his hands in front of his chest, lowered his head, and moved carefully towards the stairs step by step.

Draco was waiting at the door of Gryffindor Tower because he wanted to meet Harry.

It was just that he wanted to catch Harry as soon as possible.

He got up early on purpose and arrived at the tower door before seven o'clock.

As figures appeared one after another, but none of them was Harry, he felt a little sleepy.

Finally he leaned against the corner, dazed.

But he was like a telepath with Harry.

His eyes flew open just as Harry passed him.

He looked at the back and the iconic messy short hair.

Harry was tiptoeing forward like a little mouse.

Draco felt a little amused for no apparent reason.

Harry just reached the stairs and was about to speed up.

Draco's voice came from behind him, "Harry, good morning!"

His heart suddenly trembled, his feet became unstable, and he sat down on the stairs.

After sliding down four or five stairs, he finally grabbed the handrail of the stairs.

Seeing this, Draco's face changed, and he rushed forward quickly and grabbed Harry by the collar.

After Harry steadied himself, he squatted down and asked with concern.

"How are you? Are you hurt? Do you want to go to the hospital wing?"

Harry grimaced, feeling a burning pain in his butt.

He couldn't help but gasp, but then the pain seemed to ease a lot.

"It should be... fine."

"Can you stand up? I'll help you." Draco held Harry's arm and waited for his response.

"Okay." Harry also took the handrail of the stairs, followed Draco's efforts, and slowly stood up.

"How can you be so careless that you can fall down even when going down the stairs?"

Draco's tone was somewhat accusatory, but more concerned.

Harry mumbled as he rubbed his bottom with his hands.

"I'm not scared of you."

"Were you scared by me?" Draco looked at Harry in disbelief.

But thinking back to how Harry had just looked, a huge grin appeared on his face.

He teased, "Are you that afraid of me?"

"Of course I'm not afraid of you. It's just...it's just..." Harry said unhappily.

Then he muttered incoherently, "I really didn't put my name into the Goblet of Fire."

But Draco understood, "I believe you."

Harry's eyes widened in shock, looking at Draco in disbelief, "You...what did you say?"

"Of course I believe that you didn't sign up yourself." Draco said firmly.

"Do you really... believe me?" Harry opened his mouth and pointed at himself.

Draco nodded affirmatively, "You heard me right, I believe you."

Harry felt mixed emotions. He never expected that Draco would be the first person to choose to believe him.

He asked carefully, "You don't blame me for...stealing Slytherin's limelight?"

"You talk like you can win," Draco muttered.

"What did you say?" Harry didn't quite hear.

Draco coughed lightly, "Ahem, we Slytherins are never afraid of competition."

Harry felt a warm feeling in his heart.

"Thank you, Draco."

Draco turned his attention to Harry's injury: "Does your butt still hurt?"

Harry shook his head. "Much better."

"Okay, let's go to Hagrid's place! You probably don't want to be in the public eye right now!" Draco suggested.

Harry nodded heavily and followed Draco downstairs.

He didn't want to see any more people today.

On the way they met Hermione who was walking upstairs.

The three of them exchanged a few words, and Harry felt better.

Because Hermione also chose to believe him, despite her reasons, which made him a little unhappy.

According to Hermione: Hephis had to work so hard to pass the age limit, so it was even more impossible for him.

Although Harry was a little unconvinced, he also understood that Hermione was telling the truth.

"Hermione, we're going to Hag's, would you like to come with us?" Harry invited.

Hermione's eyes roamed between Harry and Draco.

Then she firmly refused, "You guys go ahead! I have something else to do and I need to go to the library later."

"Oh, all right then!" Harry said, a little disappointed. "See you later, Hermione."

"Goodbye, Hermione." Draco also waved.

"See you later." Hermione looked at their departing backs with an auntie smile on her face.

She walked briskly towards the Gryffindor Tower.

With the selection of the warriors, Hogwarts once again returned to peace, but not so peacefully.

Both Hephis and Harry did not meet the age criteria, but both became warriors.

The only difference is that Hephis broke the age limit with his hard power in full view of the public.

He even had an indirect confrontation with Dumbledore.

The little wizards in the whole school still remember that scene very well.

So everyone recognized Hephis and thought he was a well-deserved Hogwarts Knight.

But Harry is different. No one knows how he cheated on his age.

So, except for Gryffindor, the young wizards from the other three houses all felt that this matter was very shameful.

And in order for Harry to become the fourth champion, it also forced Hogwarts to have two champions to participate.

Hogwarts was caught in a whirlpool of public opinion because of this, and the outside world was full of doubts about the fairness of the competition.

This also made the young wizards in the school very uncomfortable, and they all felt that Harry was wrong.

Therefore, Harry also heard a lot of sarcasm.

The only thing that comforted him was that among the other three houses, Slytherin was the friendliest.

You can't say they were friendly, you can only say they ignored him.

The little snakes were neither enthusiastic nor sarcastic towards him.

Seeing him is like not seeing him at all, just a passerby.

But this made Harry breathe a sigh of relief, and he felt even more comfortable.

Therefore, during this period of time, after class, he did not return to Gryffindor Tower.

Anyway, there would be no one to talk to him when he returned there.

He simply lived with Hagrid.

He also had a new roommate, Draco.

Because Draco would be with him every day.

And in order to cope with the next game.

Draco also gave him special training to enhance his strength.

Draco not only taught him a lot of spells.

He even prepared a variety of magic potions for him that could make him stronger quickly.

It can be said that his affection for Draco is growing day by day.

He was no longer bothered by Ron's problem at all.

If you ignore me today, I will make you out of my reach tomorrow.
