Hogwarts in the shadows
Chapter 208: Durmstrang and Beauxbatons Arrive
When the students from the four colleges lined up.
They walked down the steps and lined up in the open space in front of the castle.
At this time, night fell quietly, the wind was cold, and a hazy moon hung in the sky, quietly hanging above the forbidden forest.
Hephis noticed that some students at the front of the team were already shivering in the cold wind.
He walked slowly to Snape's side.
Snape looked at him in surprise, but said nothing.
This scene naturally attracted the attention of everyone present.
After all, everyone was standing still.
Someone suddenly walked to the front of the team, which still attracted a lot of attention.
Hephis turned around and waved gently to the little wizards.
A magical power surged out from his body and instantly spread throughout the entire team.
All the little wizards felt embraced by a warm current and no longer felt cold.
After finishing all this, Hephis was about to walk back to his original position, but was stopped by Snape, who motioned him to stand beside him.
Hephis shrugged and stood at the front of the team.
The younger wizards also understood what had happened, and all looked at Hephis with gratitude.
The senior students were filled with shock and disbelief.
For them, it was simply unimaginable to cast continuous magic over such a large area.
Many people even showed admiration in their eyes.
Especially the little snakes, they are now shaking with excitement.
And the idea in their hearts became more and more firm.
If Hephis is not allowed to participate in the Triwizard Tournament, they will write a joint letter home and ask their elders to put pressure on the Ministry of Magic.
Hefeth glanced at the time and saw that it was nearly seven o'clock, so he was obviously late for both schools.
He suddenly felt a magical fluctuation in the Black Lake.
He spread out his magical perception.
A dilapidated skeleton ship appeared in the Black Lake, like the remains of a shipwreck.
There is a logo on the bow, with a two-headed bird on top of an elk skull, which is the Durmstrang school emblem.
But the skeleton ship just lay quietly at the bottom of the lake, with no intention of floating up at all.
Hephaest rolled his eyes. It seemed that Durmstrang wanted to wait until Beauxbatons arrived before showing up.
Although he wasn't cold, he didn't want to just stand there waiting foolishly.
So he continued to expand his magical perception and found the giant octopus Karasen deep in the center of the lake.
The lake water began to boil, with huge waves rolling and splashing water everywhere.
Pushed by the waves, the skeleton ship under the water began to sway from side to side.
The Durmstrang students on the boat also began to stagger.
In the center of the lake, a huge vortex suddenly formed.
A pitch-black mast first emerged from the water, and then the entire skeleton ship also floated out of the water.
A faint light shone through the porthole, like the eyes of a ghost.
As the ship slowly approached the shore, a heavy iron anchor was embedded in the shallow water, stabilizing its figure.
A wooden plank was placed between the lake shore and the side of the boat.
A tall, thin man wearing a silver fur cloak was the first to step onto the wooden board.
He had a head full of white hair and a very conspicuous goatee.
He staggered a bit, followed by a group of tall and strong students.
They also wore fur cloaks, but they were brown.
"Dumbledore!" The man stretched out his hands and walked towards Dumbledore.
"Welcome, Professor Karkaroff." Dumbledore also extended his hand and waited there.
Karkaroff walked up to Dumbledore and shook his hand tightly.
Hefeth noticed that the man behind Karkaroff looked familiar.
However, he did not need to think carefully, as the whispers of the little wizards around him had already revealed the answer to him.
Viktor Krum, Seeker for the Bulgarian Quidditch team.
Hefeth hadn't expected that Krum was still just a student, but his face did look a little old.
As soon as the Durmstrang students entered the castle, a huge monster appeared in the sky.
It was a giant pink and blue carriage.
It was as big as a villa and was pulled by twelve silver-maned horses as it flew towards the castle.
On the carriage was printed the school emblem of two golden wands crossed in a cross, which clearly showed that Beauxbatons had also arrived.
Hephis glanced at Hagrid and saw that he was wearing a set of elegant wizard robes.
His face was full of excitement, his eyes fixed on the carriage.
The carriage got closer and closer to the ground, and with a loud bang, it landed steadily on the ground.
A noble lady with extraordinary temperament slowly walked out of the carriage. It was Madame Maxime.
She was tall, nearly twelve feet tall.
Hefeth looked at Madame Maxime carefully, and found that she was indeed a good match for Hagrid.
Behind her followed a group of students wearing silk clothes, many of whom had their heads wrapped in scarves.
Obviously the cold temperature made them very cold.
The moment Hagrid saw Madame Maxime, his cheeks involuntarily blushed.
If he hadn't had a shred of rationality left in him, he would have rushed to her side regardless of the consequences.
Dumbledore was relatively sensible when Madame Maxime mentioned the silver-maned horse.
He duly introduced Hagrid to Madame Maxime.
As they shook hands, Hagrid rubbed his hands awkwardly over his trouser legs.
He finally mustered up the courage to shake hands with Madame Maxime.
"These horses only drink single malt whiskey," Madame Maxime said to Hagrid.
"No problem, I have plenty of good wine." Hagrid assured, patting his chest.
Madame Maxime took one look at Hagrid's size and nodded.
"Then let's go in and warm up!"
"Of course." Dumbledore gestured for invitation and led Madam Maxime into the castle.
So the students of Hogwarts followed the Beauxbatons delegation.
We lined up and climbed the stone steps to enter the castle.
Before the dinner, Hefes also enjoyed a dance performance by two schools.
The students of Durmstrang opened the event with a magnificent war dance.
Every gesture is a perfect combination of strength and skill.
They fully demonstrated their huge size.
The girls from Beauxbatons followed suit and performed the Macarena dance.
They exude an intoxicating charm with their feminine softness and elegance.
They skillfully incorporated magic into their dance.
A faint pink scent permeates the air.
There was one girl in particular. The more Hephis looked at her, the more he felt that she looked like Fulla.
While dining.
Durmstrang chose the Slytherin table.
The ladies of Beauxbatons chose the empty seats at the Ravenclaw table.
As the last student took his seat, the professors slowly walked into the auditorium and sat down one by one in the guest of honor seats.
The three principals walked at the end of the team.
