Hogwarts in the shadows

Chapter 138 Sirius Black Appears

As night fell, they walked hand in hand into the carefully decorated auditorium.

Inside the hall, hundreds of pumpkin lanterns swayed gently in the air, and a group of "Snapes" fluttered in the air.

This year's decoration style is slightly different from previous years.

The orange ribbons floated leisurely under the ceiling, like nimble fire snakes spewing flames.

The food was also unusually rich, especially the Chinese food that was usually only served to Hephis.

It appeared on all the tables tonight.

Of course, except for the authentic flavor in front of Hephis, the ones in front of everyone else are sweet.

The little wizards all took their knives and forks and tried to eat a little, and then they couldn't stop eating at all, and each of them had a full stomach.

Even in Slytherin, which always pays attention to etiquette, there were many people with greasy mouths and sweat all over.

After eating and drinking, Hephis returned to the dormitory.

He had just taken off his clothes and was about to take a shower when there was a sudden and urgent knock on the dormitory door.

Hephis waved his hand and the dormitory door opened.

Draco's clamorous voice came into his ears: "Hephis, something happened!"

"What's the matter?" Hephis asked casually.

At this moment, Draco's eyes were wide open, and his gaze was fixed on Hephes.

Hephis always wore a loose wizard robe, and except for his outstanding height, his figure was not conspicuous.

But now, he has a tall and slender figure, broad shoulders, a strong chest, and faintly visible abdominal muscles, and every muscle line is clearly visible.

The perfect body proportions and lines perfectly demonstrate the masculine beauty and strength of men.

This is not the body shape of a 13-year-old boy! This is totally a foul!

Draco really wanted to shout, "Someone is cheating!" But he didn't dare.

Hephis looked at Draco standing there in a daze without saying anything, and asked again impatiently, "Draco, what happened?"

Draco swallowed hard.

"Oh, they say Sirius Black broke into Hogwarts, and the headmaster asked us all to gather in the Great Hall."

He didn't even blink now, and his eyes never left Hephis.

"Sirius Black? That guy is pretty brave!"

Hephis walked out of the bathroom, with a long strip of object still swinging.

He snapped his fingers, and his clothes and shoes bounced to his side and were automatically put on him.

Draco swallowed hard again at the sight and finally looked away.

Hephis and Draco returned to the Great Hall, where the other students also gathered.

"The faculty and I will be conducting a comprehensive search of the castle," Dumbledore's words echoed throughout the Great Hall.

His eyes swept over the young wizards.

"For safety reasons, you will need to stay here tonight. The prefect will guard the entrance to the auditorium, and the student union president will be responsible for maintaining order. If there is anything unusual, please find a ghost to report to me on your behalf."

Dumbledore waved his wand lightly, and the long tables moved to the edge of the hall and stood against the wall.

With another wave, the ground was instantly covered with hundreds of purple sleeping bags.

"I think you need this, get some rest."

After leaving these words, Dumbledore turned and left, closing the door of the Great Hall.

As he left, excited whispers immediately rang out in the auditorium.

The Gryffindor students couldn't wait to tell students from other colleges what had just happened.

Hephis and Draco went straight to the little lion's territory and found Hermione and the two pendants.

The other little lions were already used to this and continued to spread the news of Sirius Black's intrusion excitedly.

"Get in your sleeping bags!" Percy yelled. "Quiet now! Lights out in ten minutes!"

Hephis glanced at Percy and thought to himself, this guy will graduate next year.

Judging from his personality, he will probably join the Ministry of Magic, so it's time to talk to him.

"Hephis, let's go over there." Hermione took Hephis's hand and pointed to a relatively quiet corner.

Just as Hermione was about to bend down to get the sleeping bag, Hephis snapped his fingers lightly.

In an instant, a brown and a black sleeping bag appeared in the corner.

Hermione glanced at the sleeping bag and complained in her heart, Hephis was good in everything except being too lazy. He would never use his hands for anything that could be done with magic.

She pulled Hephis towards the sleeping bag, the brown one being prepared for her naturally.

But "hehe" she wanted to sleep in the black one, so she got into the black sleeping bag first.

Hephis smiled and got into the brown sleeping bag, lying next to Hermione.

Draco, Harry and Ron also came over, each pulling a sleeping bag.

However, they all wisely kept their distance, two meters away from the two people.

As soon as Harry lay down, Draco pushed Ron aside without hesitation and lay directly beside Harry.

Ron was about to explode, but was interrupted by Hermione's voice.

"Sirius Black tried to break into the Gryffindor common room tonight," Hermione explained quietly.

"The Fat Lady rejected him, and he actually destroyed the portrait. Now the Fat Lady is nowhere to be found."

"Do you think Black is still there?" Hermione inquired.

"If he wasn't stupid, he would have left by now," Hephis responded.

"But Headmaster Dumbledore..."

Hephis started to complain, "I guess he is just too full to digest his food."

One Black made them all run to the auditorium to sleep.

I don’t know if Dumbledore is really being careful or is planning something bad.

"You can't say that about Headmaster Dumbledore, he's just worried about our safety," Hermione argued.

Hephis was too lazy to argue. Hermione was just too naive and thought too highly of others.

Gather all the people together and don't leave any professors behind.

If Blake casts any large-scale magic, how many of these little wizards will be killed or injured?

What about in the lounge?

Black couldn't even get into the Gryffindor common room.

Even if he broke in, wouldn't it be better to put a few house-elves watching in the lounge?

"We're lucky we're not in the tower tonight," Hermione continued, a hint of relief in her tone.

"I guess he might be confused," Ron interrupted. "After all, he's been on the run. He might not have thought that today is Halloween."

Not to mention that Ron was still useful, Ron's words made Hefeth discover the biggest doubt in this matter.

Black had lived in Hogwarts for seven years, so there was no way he didn't know about the Halloween dinner.

So why did he choose such a day, and why did he choose the empty Gryffindor common room as his target?

His target is not people, but other plans.

As for Blake being confused, that's pure nonsense.

Anyone who can escape from prison must be stupid.
