Naruto: Throne of the Holy Hand

Chapter 124 The Strongest Warrior

The palace of the three great priests was located on the top of a towering mountain, surrounded by clouds and mist, like a fairyland. However, on this day, the atmosphere in the palace was particularly tense and depressing.

In the center of the hall, the three great priests, Julius, Silvia, and Carlos, were sitting around a huge stone table. Their expressions were gloomy, and their eyes were filled with anger and confusion. On the stone table was an urgent report about the news that Shadley was defeated by a young man.

Julius was the first to break the silence. He slammed the table, and the sound echoed in the hall like thunder. "This is unbelievable! Shadli was defeated by a teenager! He is one of our strongest warriors!"

Serbia frowned and said coldly, "Julius, calm down. We need to find out the origins of this boy and how he defeated Shadley."

Carlos seemed even more angry. He clenched his fists and roared, "Shadley is such a loser! He can't even beat a teenager. How dare he call himself our warrior!"

Julius took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He turned to look at the guard captain Ryan standing beside him and ordered, "Ryan, read the detailed report again."

Ryan nodded, picked up the report and began to read aloud: "According to the description of the witnesses, the boy's name is Eric, and he is only sixteen years old. In the battle with Shadley, he showed extremely powerful strength and skills. Shadley had almost no chance to fight back and was defeated by him."

Julius frowned and asked, "Eric? I've never heard of this name. What is his origin?"

Ryan continued: "We don't have any further information about Eric at this time, but it is rumored that he comes from a mysterious village where the people seem to possess some kind of ancient power."

Sylvia nodded thoughtfully and said, "Ancient power? That explains why he was able to defeat Shadley. We must find this Eric as soon as possible and figure out his true identity and purpose."

Carlos sneered and said, "Find him? Why not just send someone to capture him and force him to tell you everything!"

Julius shook his head and retorted, "Carlos, calm down. We can't act rashly. Eric was able to defeat Shadley, which shows that he is very powerful. We need to make a careful plan."

At this moment, the door of the hall was pushed open, and a thin man walked in. He was the intelligence officer of the three great priests, named Victor.

Victor saluted and said anxiously, "My Lords, I have important news. Our people have found Eric's trail. He is now at the edge of the Black Forest, with a group of wanderers."

Julius' eyes flashed with a cold light, and he asked, "Black Forest? That place is not simple. Why is Eric there?"

Victor replied, "It is said that he is searching for a long lost artifact that is said to increase the power of the user."

Sylvia nodded and said, "It seems that Eric is not only a powerful warrior, he also has his own goals and plans. We must stop him from finding the artifact."

Carlos sneered and said, "Now that we know his whereabouts, it will be easy. We will send out our strongest warriors to capture him directly!"

Julius thought for a moment and said, "No, we can't act rashly. Eric's strength is unknown. We need more detailed intelligence and a more thorough plan."

Sylvia nodded in agreement and said, "Julius is right. We can't take any risks. Victor, continue to send people to monitor Eric's movements and report to us at any time."

Victor nodded in agreement and quickly left the hall.

Julius stood up, looked around, and said, "We must unite to deal with this threat together. Eric's appearance may be a sign that a huge storm is coming."

Silvia and Carlos also stood up, the three of them had firm eyes and were determined.

Meanwhile, at the edge of the Black Forest, Eric was sitting under an old tree, resting his eyes. Beside him, several wanderers were busy preparing dinner.

A girl named Lina walked up to Eric and asked with concern: "Eric, are you okay? Today's battle consumed a lot of your energy."

Eric opened his eyes, smiled, and said, "Thank you, Lena. I'm fine, I just need some time to recover."

Lina nodded, handed Eric a glass of water, and said, "You are really amazing. You can actually defeat a strong man like Shadley."

Eric took the water, took a sip, and said calmly: "Shadley is not invincible, he is just too conceited and underestimated me."

Lina's eyes flashed with admiration, and she said, "No matter what, you are our hero. We will always support you."

Eric smiled slightly, but his heart was full of vigilance. He knew that defeating Shadley was only the beginning, and the real challenge was still to come.

As night fell, the Black Forest was shrouded in a mysterious darkness. Eric looked at the starry sky in the distance and prayed silently in his heart, hoping that he could find the lost artifact and complete his mission.

However, he didn't know that the three great priests had already begun to act and a huge storm was heading towards him.

The next morning, Eric and his companions continued their journey through the Black Forest. Along the way, they encountered various dangers, but Eric resolved them one by one with his extraordinary strength.

Just as they were about to reach the valley where the legendary artifact was located, a team of fully armed warriors suddenly appeared in front of them, blocking their way.

The leading warrior said coldly: "Eric, we are here to arrest you on the orders of the three great priests. Surrender yourself, or don't blame us for being rude!"

Eric sneered, drew the long sword from his waist, and said with a sharp gaze: "If you want to catch me, it depends on whether you have the ability to do so!"

The battle was about to start, and Eric started a fierce confrontation with the warriors. His sword skills were swift and fierce, and every move was full of deadly power.

Lina and other wanderers also joined the battle. Although their strength was not as good as Eric's, their courage and determination were moving.

The battle became more intense, and Eric gradually gained the upper hand. However, just as he was about to defeat the last warrior, a black shadow suddenly fell from the sky and blocked his way.

It was a man in a black robe, with a stern face and endless murderous intent in his eyes. He was Carlos, one of the three great priests.

Carlos sneered: "Eric, you are indeed very strong, but you are not good enough in front of me."

Eric gripped his sword tightly and said fearlessly: "Really? Then give it a try!"

The two men fought in an instant, swords flashed, sparks flew. Eric felt unprecedented pressure, but he did not retreat, instead he became more and more courageous.

However, Carlos was too strong, and Eric gradually fell into a disadvantage. Just when he was about to collapse, Lina suddenly rushed up and blocked Carlos' fatal blow with her body.

"Eric, go!" Lina's voice was full of pain and determination.

Robin and Namikaze Hades stood in front of the altar, and the air around them was filled with a mysterious atmosphere. The soil of the altar had a strange luster, as if telling an ancient secret.

"Robin, what do you think is special about this soil?" Namikaze Hades frowned, a hint of doubt in his eyes.

Robin squatted down and gently touched the soil on the ground with her fingers, frowning. "This soil is not like ordinary soil. Its texture and color are very special, and..." She paused, as if thinking about how to express her discovery.

"And what?" asked Namikaze Hades, with a hint of urgency in his tone.

"And it seems to contain some unknown minerals, which may be related to gold." Robin raised his head and looked at Namikaze Mingdi firmly. "You guessed right, this may really be the other half of Gaya Island."

Namikaze Meidi's eyes lit up, and he clenched his fists, as if he had made up his mind. "If this is really the other half of Gaya Island, then the Golden Country may exist! We must find it!"

At this moment, a gust of wind blew by, bringing with it a low sound. The two turned around and found a strange figure standing not far away. It was a man wearing a black cloak, his face hidden in the shadow of the cloak, and only a pair of sharp eyes could be seen.

"Are you looking for the Golden Country?" The man's voice was low and cold, with a subtle threat.

Robin and Namikaze Hades looked at each other and became alert. Namikaze Hades stepped forward, stood in front of Robin, and asked coldly, "Who are you? Why are you here?"

The man chuckled and lifted his cloak, revealing a stern face. "My name is Nightblade, and I am the guardian of this land. You are violating our taboo by trespassing here without permission."

"Guardian?" Robin frowned slightly, a trace of doubt rising in his heart. "What are you guarding?"

Night Blade's eyes became sharper, and he said coldly: "We are guarding the secret of the Golden Country. Anyone who tries to approach it will face our punishment."

Namikaze Hades snorted coldly and met Nightblade's gaze without fear. "We are not here to cause trouble, we just want to uncover the truth about this land. If you are really the guardian, why don't you let us see the Golden Country?"

Ye Ren's expression turned gloomy. He slowly drew out the long sword from his waist, and the blade gleamed coldly in the sunlight. "You are not qualified to approach the Golden Country. Now, leave here, or don't blame me for being rude."

Robin felt the tension in the air and knew that a conflict was inevitable. She grabbed Namikaze's arm and whispered, "Namikaze, we can't fight head-on. Maybe we can find another way."

Namikaze looked at Robin, a hint of hesitation flashed in his eyes, but he soon became firm. He nodded and said to Nightblade: "Okay, we will leave. But we will not give up the search for the truth of the Golden Country."

Ye Ren looked at them coldly, not putting down the sword in his hand. "Remember, this is your last chance. If you dare to step in here again, you will bear the consequences at your own risk."

Robin and Namikaze Hades slowly retreated until they were out of the range of the altar. Nightblade stood there, watching them leave, with a hint of complicated emotions flashing in his eyes.

After leaving the altar, Robin and Namikaze Hades stopped in a forest. Robin leaned against a big tree and sighed deeply. "Namikaze, what should we do next?"

Namikaze Mingdi pondered for a moment, with a gleam of determination in his eyes. "We need to find more clues. Nightblade said they are guarding the secret of the Golden Country, which means the Golden Country does exist. We must find other entrances or clues."

Just then, a clear voice came from deep in the woods. "Are you looking for the Golden Country?"

Robin and Namikaze turned around alertly and found a young girl standing not far away. She had long golden hair, clear eyes, and a friendly smile on her face.

"Who are you?" asked Emperor Bofeng vigilantly.

The girl came closer with a smile and said softly, "My name is Ellie, and I'm a resident here. I know you're looking for the Golden Country, and I can help you."

Robin and Namikaze Hades looked at each other, and a glimmer of hope rose in their hearts. Robin asked, "Ellie, why are you helping us?"
