Quick Wear: I'm bound to the love strategy system

Chapter 152 The Noble Mad Duke * The Speculative Girl (10)

April hesitated for a long time, then she leaned forward and looked into the wisteria flowers.

There is no one there, which means that even if I go in, no one will find me.

April pursed her lips, her rose-petal-like lips turned pale, and her bright eyes showed uneasiness.

Strahl was hiding in the flowers, and as long as April stepped through the small door, she could see Strahl holding her hat.

There was a hint of curiosity in Strahl's purple eyes, and his platinum hair blended in with the spring sunshine.

I wondered in my mind whether she would come in.

However, it is not novel in any way.

April ultimately did not enter the wisteria garden, which was a restricted area for her.

But that doesn't mean she gave up on entering here to find her hat.

It's daytime now and my vision is limited after all.

If there really was someone inside, I would be caught red-handed.

She wanted to resign, but she didn't want to be fired for making a mistake.

There were several doors to this small garden, and April was afraid that she would take the wrong path when she came to look for it at night.

She took off her headband. The dark purple silk headband had small white flowers on it, and it didn't look out of place when tied on the wisteria flowers.

April moved very gently, she cherished what little she had.

When she was tying the knot, she deliberately made it into the shape of a small flower, so that it would look more harmonious with the blooming wisteria flowers.

After marking the spot, April left with her little basket.

She doesn't want anyone to report her.

After April left, Strahl came out and looked at the headband that April tied on the wisteria flower.

He chuckled a little, then grumbled quietly.

“It’s so ugly and tacky.”

"The color of wisteria should be matched with honey yellow."

Strahl took off April's headband and tied it around his wrist.

The texture of his snow-white wrist was smooth, and the purple hairband tied on his wrist didn't look out of place.

Strahl returned to his easel and continued his work.

A woman wearing a blue and white hat is picking grapes from the grape racks.

Strahl did not paint the woman's face, but the wisteria pattern on her hat is lifelike.

April certainly had no idea what happened after she left.

After she washed the grapes, she understood why no one had picked them even though they were so beautiful.

It was so sour that April felt like her teeth were going to fall out.

Just then, a footman knocked on April's door.

April had no impression of this servant, but looking at him she vaguely felt that he was different from the other servants.

He held the tray and bowed slightly.

"Miss Xia La, Butler Hef asked me to deliver this."

April looked at the contents of the silver jar on the tray with some surprise.

“What is this?” she asked.

The servant replied, "It is some linden honey, sweet and delicious, for you to enjoy at this time."

April was no stranger to linden honey, but she had only seen it in books. Halcyon had a mild and humid climate, so there was no such honey.

She was confused: "Why did the housekeeper give me this?"

The servant looked at April so seriously that April felt he was looking at her as if she were a person with wings.

Is there anything new about her appearance? That's how you look at it.

Before April could hint at his impoliteness, he averted his gaze.

He answered April's question with a smile on his face.

"He said you'd need it."

After saying this, he simply bowed and said goodbye to April.

April could only hold the silver jar and watch his back go away.

Her beautiful almond eyes were filled with confusion.

Ah, are you leaving now?

April turned around and closed the door, then sat back down at the table by the window.

The original doubts disappeared after seeing the plate of grapes that I had washed.

I didn't expect that Butler Hef, at such an old age, would still tease me.

He clearly knew that the grapes were too sour to be eaten, but he still nodded with a smile when he said he wanted to pick them.

He must be waiting to be criticized.

But considering that he brought me linden honey, I won't bother with the old man.

April used a spoon to put the delicate, white linden honey onto the plate of grapes.

The peeled flesh is coated with white honey and is a rare delicacy when put into the mouth.

Just like that, April finished eating the sour grapes that she thought she would not take a second bite of.

April was not stingy when it came to eating honey.

Even though she is poor now, she still can't learn to live frugally.

She had to be happy.

There was still a large jar of linden honey left, so April put it in the cupboard, took out her bamboo flute and began to play.

The windowsill is very high, and there are gorgeous patterns painted on the transparent glass. When the sunlight shines through it, it looks like a painting.

April opened the window, stood by it, looked at the mountains in the distance, and began to play.

The clear and melodious sound of the flute passed through the hills, like the singing of birds, but more majestic and vast.

April played, and the wood-scented wind ruffled her hair.

Amanda was being tested on her schoolwork by her uncle in the study room. She faintly heard the sound of a bamboo flute and her originally uneasy heart suddenly came to life.

The music is so soft that if you don't pay attention you might think it's birds singing.

"Uncle, this is Teacher Xia La playing."

Seeing that his niece was trying her best to change the subject, Strahl cooperated with her for the first time as the time for today was almost up.

"Shara, when did you get such a teacher? I don't remember hiring a teacher from a commoner background for you."

Amanda was not surprised that her uncle didn't remember, as she had a wide range of interests and so many tutors.

“It’s the teacher who taught Campbell the bamboo flute before. I haven’t told you yet.

Teacher Xia La only has one bamboo flute. If I want to learn, I'd like to ask you to find me another one."

Strahl turned the ring on his finger, undisguisedly displaying the noble arrogance of a superior.

The purple dress was gorgeous and complicated, but it did not steal the limelight from its owner.

"Just tell the servants about this kind of thing, and they will bring what you want to you."

“No need to wait, no need to pray, you just need to learn how to drive.”

Amanda had none of the pride in front of Strahl that she had in front of April, like a flower frosted by frost.

"I understand, uncle."

Strahl listened to the intermittent flute sounds and finally knew who April was.

The lady who stared at his carriage, kicked his cherry tree and said he was a devil happened to be Amanda's governess.

I went to pick grapes and the wind blew my hat away.

Strahl thought, remembering how aggrieved she looked under the tree.

Will she cry if she can't find her hat and headband?

She felt that Feng and Ye bullied her.
