Seeing that Enron was still hesitating, Jiang Huai decided to change his strategy.

He frowned slightly and pretended to look pitiful.

"I've been standing here for half an hour, and my legs are sore."

An Ran came back to her senses, looked at the flowers in his hand, then looked at his face which showed a little bit of grievance, and felt a little soft-hearted.

Jiang Huaian took the opportunity to stuff the flowers directly into An Ran's arms, "My hands are sore too."

An Ran subconsciously raised her hand to hug the flower, nodded helplessly, turned around and took the flower back to the table in the house.

Jiang Huainian's eyes followed her back, with a triumphant smile on his lips.

After An Ran placed the flowers on the table, she turned and looked at Jiang Huainian at the door.

Jiang Huainian was looking at her with a smile, his eyes full of affection.

"You like flowers, I'll buy them for you." She said softly

Anran placed the flowers on the table and paused.

Does he mean to send it later?

An Ran didn't respond, she arranged the flowers and closed the door.

"It's still early, let's go have breakfast." Jiang Huai said in a young voice and turned to walk towards the elevator.

"Aren't you going back to Shencheng Yipin?" An Ran looked at him in surprise.

"No, just the two of us. I know a great breakfast shop nearby." Jiang Huaian said gently and pressed the elevator button.

An Ran did not refuse, but just lowered her head and followed him silently.

The elevator door slowly closed, and the two people stood apart in the small space.

A few minutes walk away, there is a western restaurant.

An Ran didn't expect that this store also served breakfast. She had the impression that this store only opened at noon.

Jiang Huai chose a seat by the window.

The early morning sun shone through the window onto his body, making him look so energetic. It was hard to imagine that this man was still working in the middle of the night and was still so energetic.

"What do you want to eat?" Jiang Huaian asked, his eyes never leaving An Ran's.

"Either is fine." An Ran replied, trying to look as natural as possible.

Jiang Huaian smiled and nodded, then turned to order from the waiter.

Breakfast was served quickly.

These were all her favorite foods. Anran took a sip of the milk, then cut a piece of the muffin covered with honey and cream and put it into her mouth.

Eating delicious food made her feel a little more relaxed.

Jiang Huaian looked at her and asked gently, "Is it delicious?"

An Ran nodded, she looked up and around, and asked quietly: "Are we too early? There are no customers?"

Jiang Huaian smiled slightly, "They don't make breakfast, so I specially asked the boss to book the place and make the food you like."

An Ran looked at him. She was touched by his careful arrangement of all this.

"You..." she began hesitantly.

Jiang Huaian put down the knife and fork in his hand and looked at her seriously, "You don't have to feel burdened, I'm just doing what I want to do."

An Ran lowered her head, her thoughts a little confused.

"I..." she said softly, suddenly not knowing how to start talking about the fact that she didn't have a boyfriend.

"I'll give you some time." Jiang Huainian said gently, "I'll wait, wait for your answer."

The two ate breakfast quietly and did not mention the topic of relationship again.

An Ran's cell phone rang.

"Mr. Jiang, I need to take a call."

Jiang Huai Nian nodded.

An Ran picked up the phone, chatted with the other party for a few words, and then said, "Okay, I understand. I will move over this weekend. Thank you."

When Jiang Huainian heard the word "move", he was stunned for a moment, put down the knife and fork in his hand, and looked at An Ran.

After An Ran hung up the phone, she found Jiang Huainian looking at her with a hint of confusion in his eyes.

Jiang Huaian looked directly at An Ran, "You want to move away?"

An Ran nodded.

She sorted out her thoughts and said, "Mr. Jiang, thank you for lending me your house during this period. I have found a house and will move out on Sunday."

"Why? I told you that you can stay here forever." Jiang Huainian's tone contained a hint of confusion.

An Ran hesitated for a moment, not knowing how to explain, "I don't think it's a good idea to do this now. After all, this is your house, and it's not convenient for me to live here all the time."

Jiang Huai Nian frowned, "What's the inconvenience?"

An Ran shook her head slightly, "I still don't feel good about it. I've already paid the rent for the new house."

"Did I push you too hard?" Jiang Huainian's eyes flashed with disappointment.

"The house was rented some time ago." An Ran said calmly.

Jiang Huaian was silent for a moment.

"If you insist on moving, I'll help you move," he said, trying to make his tone sound calm.

"No, I don't have much luggage and my new home is quite close." An Ran said.

Jiang Huainian responded with a "OK" and fell into silence.

The breakfast in front of him suddenly became tasteless and he couldn't eat a single bite.

The atmosphere between the two became a little awkward, and An Ran didn't know what to say to ease the silence.

Time seemed to stand still and no one spoke.

Finally, Jiang Huainian broke the silence, "If you need help, feel free to contact me." There was a hint of fatigue and helplessness in his tone.

An Ran nodded, "Mr. Jiang, thank you."

Return to the company.

Jianghuai was going to hold a senior management meeting this year, so An Ran summarized the project schedules on hand, printed them out and sent them to his office.

Jiang Huaian took the progress sheet, glanced at it for a few seconds, and then pointed at the summary sheet with his slender fingers. "Print out a copy of the detailed information of this project for me."

An Ran responded and turned to go out to print the information.

Jiang Huainian's gaze unconsciously fell on her, and a barely perceptible sense of loss and bitterness flashed in his eyes.

He walked to the window, and his figure looked somewhat desolate and lonely against the backdrop of the window.

He lit a cigarette, exhaled a puff of smoke, and watched it dissipate in the air.

The smoke slowly spread in the air and his eyes became a little blurry.

After An Ran printed the document, she knocked on the door and entered the president's office.

Jiang Huainian heard a knock on the door and put out the cigarette in his hand.

"Come in."

"Mr. Jiang, the meeting time has come." An Ran said.

Jiang Huaian responded, walked past her and took the document from her hand.

When he passed by An Ran, she smelled a faint scent of tobacco on him.

At lunch time, Anran went downstairs to get JAC Nian’s lunch.

She unexpectedly discovered that the lunch box was not the same as before.

"Changed the lunch box?" An Ran asked.

"It seems that Mr. Jiang lost yesterday's lunch box." said the driver.

"Why?" An Ran was stunned.

The driver shrugged, indicating that he didn't know.

An Ran thought about it. Yesterday, she gave her lunch to Shen Wenyin. Was that the reason?

She put Jiang Huai's lunch into the office.

Feng Jiajia called.

"Of course, I'm in love again."

An Ran smiled and said, "I hope you can talk about this for a little longer~"

Feng Jiajia chuckled twice and said, "If we are still together next month, I will take you to meet them."

She changed the subject and asked, "Have you told that scumbag about your move?"

An Ran hummed.

"How did he react?" Feng Jiajia asked curiously.

An Ran looked around and saw no one was around. She whispered, "He's chasing me..."
