Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 328

The man ignored Rokod's astonishment and walked straight to the huge holographic projection screen. On the screen, the red energy ball representing the "Void Devourer" was still expanding wildly, like a blood-red giant pupil that could explode at any time. The man stretched out his hand and gently touched the screen. His cold fingertips seemed to be able to penetrate the boundary between virtual and reality.

"You can't stop it." Roccod's voice returned to its previous coldness, and a cruel smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. "You should know the power of the 'Void Devourer' better than anyone else. Once it is activated, no one can stop it."

The man turned around, stared at Rokod sharply, and said with thin lips: "You are wrong, Rokod, you are not trying to destroy the world, you just want to destroy yourself."

"What did you say?" Rocot's face darkened, and a sinister look flashed in his eyes.

The man ignored him and turned to the others in the command room. His tone was calm but carried an irresistible majesty: "I am here to help you. Please believe me."

The people in the command room looked at each other in bewilderment. They did not recognize this man who suddenly appeared, but the powerful aura he exuded and the calmness he showed when facing Locot made them choose to believe him involuntarily.

"Who are you?" the woman asked bravely. She could feel that this man was her only hope.

The man did not answer, but just smiled at her. That smile was like melting ice and snow, relaxing the woman's tense nerves a little.

"My name is Ares." He finally spoke, his voice low and magnetic, "I am here to put an end to this farce."

Rokod looked at Ares, his eyes full of resentment and hatred. He gritted his teeth and said, "Ares, you are still alive! I should have killed you with my own hands back then!"

"You have no chance, Rocot," Ares said calmly. "You are no longer the same person you were, but I am still the same person."

"You..." Roccod wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Ares with a wave of his hand.

"That's enough, Rocot," Ares said coldly, "Your time is over. Now, it's time to pay for what you have done."

As soon as he finished speaking, Ares' figure suddenly disappeared from the spot, and the next second, he appeared in front of Roccod. Before Roccod could react, he was punched away by Ares, and hit heavily on the command desk, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"You..." Roccod struggled to stand up, but found himself powerless. He looked at Ares in horror, his eyes full of disbelief, "You...your power..."

Ares ignored his shock and walked towards him slowly. Every step seemed to be stepping on his heart, making him feel suffocated by fear.

"What...what do you want to do?" Rocot's voice trembled. He could feel the breath of death enveloping him.

Ares looked down at him, with no mercy in his eyes, only endless coldness.

"I want you to see with your own eyes," Ares said word by word, "how your 'masterpiece' was destroyed by me."

After saying that, Ares turned and walked towards the control console, ignoring Rokod who was limp on the ground. He stretched out his hand and lightly touched the control panel with his fingertips. A powerful energy wave instantly swept through the entire command room.

"Warning! Warning! Unknown energy intrusion detected! The system is crashing! I repeat, the system is crashing!"

The shrill alarm sounded throughout the base, the lights in the command room began to flash wildly, and the picture on the screen became distorted, as if it would go out at any time.

"You...what did you do?!" Rocot roared in horror. He felt that his plan was collapsing bit by bit, and he was powerless to do anything.

Ares ignored his roar and focused on operating the control panel. As he moved, the red energy ball on the screen began to shrink, and the energy index representing the "Void Devourer" also dropped rapidly.

"No! Impossible! How can you control the 'Void Devourer'?!" Rocot screamed in disbelief, his eyes filled with despair and madness.

Ares didn't say anything, but just glanced at him coldly, as if he was looking at a dead person.

Suddenly, all the lights in the command room went out and the entire base fell into darkness.

"what happened?!"

“Damn it! What happened?!”

In the darkness, people were shouting in panic, and emotions of fear and despair were spreading.

"Rocot, your game is over."

In the darkness, Ares' voice was cold and merciless, like a judgment from hell, announcing the end of Locot.

The next second, a dazzling light suddenly lit up, illuminating the entire command room.

People were surprised to find that in Ares' hand, he was holding an energy ball emitting dazzling light. The light was so dazzling that it seemed to be able to dispel all darkness.

"This is……"

Everyone stared at the energy ball in Ares' hand in amazement, their eyes filled with shock and disbelief.

"This is..." Roccod's eyes widened and he shouted in horror, "'Void Heart'?! How do you have the 'Void Heart'?!"

Ares ignored his question and just looked at him coldly with a hint of mockery in his eyes.

"Goodbye, Rocot."

As soon as the words fell, the energy ball in Ares's hand suddenly burst into a dazzling light, engulfing the entire command room...
