Rocot: Reborn

The bartender was stunned for a moment, and the rag in his hand almost fell to the ground. He looked up and down at Rocot suspiciously. Although this young man was imposing, his face was very unfamiliar.

"Sir, are you looking for Black Snake Boss?" The bartender smiled and asked tentatively, "You see, Black Snake Boss is not someone that everyone can meet. Do you want to..."

"Stop talking nonsense," Rocot interrupted him impatiently, took out a gold coin from his pocket and slapped it on the table, "Tell him that I know the whereabouts of Crimson."

The gold coins flashed alluringly under the dim light. The bartender's eyes suddenly changed. He swallowed greedily, but quickly regained his composure.

"Sir, please wait a moment. I'll go and inform you." The bartender picked up the gold coins and quickly went into the secret door behind the bar.

The bar was noisy again, as if nothing had happened. Rocot sat alone at the bar, slowly turning the glass in his hand, and scanning everyone in the bar with cold eyes. These people included downtrodden nobles, desperate gamblers, and killers hiding in the dark. They all exuded a rotten smell, just like this city, full of sin and depravity.

"Brother, why did we come to a place like this?" Alia asked timidly, hiding behind Rocot. Her delicate little face was wrinkled, and she was obviously disgusted with everything here.

"Aliya, you have to remember," Rocot turned his head and looked into his sister's eyes, his tone cold, "In this world, only the strong can survive. If you want to survive, you must do whatever it takes. And I," he paused, a cruel smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, "will become the strongest existence in this world!"

Alia looked at her brother and shuddered in her heart. She felt that the brother in front of her was no longer the gentle and considerate brother, but a monster devoured by hatred and desire.

After an unknown amount of time, the bartender finally came out of the secret door. He walked up to Rocot and bowed, saying, "Sir, Boss Black Snake invites you in."

Rocot stood up, straightened his collar, and walked into the secret door with Arya.

Behind the secret door was a narrow, damp corridor. The oil lamps on the wall emitted a dim light, stretching their shadows very long. On both sides of the corridor were secret rooms, and from time to time there were women's moans and men's rough curses, which was creepy.

"Black Snake, hiding in a place like this, it seems you haven't had a good life these years." Rocot stopped and looked at the closed iron door in front of him and said coldly.

"Hahaha, Rocot, I wondered who it was, but it turns out to be you, a stray dog!" The iron gate opened, and a burly man with a fleshy face walked out. "Deep red?" Black Snake was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter, "Lockold, are you crazy? What is 'deep red'? I've never heard of it!"

"Black Snake, don't play dumb," Rocot's eyes flashed with murderous intent, "You know what I'm talking about. 'Crimson' is in your hands. Hand it over, and I can pretend that nothing happened."

"I don't know what you're talking about," Black Snake's face darkened. He clenched the dagger in his hand and threatened, "Lockold, I advise you not to refuse a toast and drink a forfeit. If you know what's good for you, get out of here right away, otherwise..."

"What else?" Roccod raised a disdainful smile. He slowly raised his right hand, and a ball of black flame gradually condensed in his palm. "Do you want to try?"

Black Snake's face changed drastically. He felt the breath of death from the black flame.

"Brother..." Arya pulled at the corner of Rochal's clothes. She had never seen her brother so terrible before. She felt scared. She wanted to stop her brother, but she knew that she couldn't stop him...
