Rocot: Reborn

Renault's heart shrank suddenly. Roccod's terrifying speed and strength made him shudder. He knew that he could not stop this monster at all. He closed his eyes in despair, waiting for death to come.

However, the expected severe pain did not come.

He cautiously opened one eye and saw a dazzling light descending from the sky, covering Rocot as if by some miracle. The light was so bright that Renault had to raise his hand to cover his eyes.

"What's going on?" Arya exclaimed, her voice full of disbelief.

The light lasted for a few seconds before gradually dissipating. Renault put down his hand, squinted his eyes, and was surprised to find that Roccod was trapped in a huge energy cage.

This cage was made up of countless golden rays of light, emitting powerful energy fluctuations. Roccod struggled frantically inside, screaming and trying to break free from the cage, but it was all in vain.

"What...what is this?" Arya asked in surprise. "Who saved us?"

Renault shook his head, he didn't know the answer either. He looked around vigilantly, trying to find the person who released this powerful energy, but there was no one around except the destroyed streets and burning wreckage of vehicles.

"Reno..." Arya's voice trembled slightly, "Are we...are we safe?"

"It's hard to say now," Renault said in a deep voice, "Rocot's power is extraordinary. We must leave here as soon as possible."

As he said this, he took Arya's hand and turned to leave. However, before they could take a few steps, a cold voice suddenly sounded in their ears.

"Want to leave? Not that easy!"

Renault and Arya's faces changed at the same time. They turned back suddenly and saw a figure in a black cloak appearing behind them at some point.

The figure slowly raised his head, revealing a pale and handsome face. A wicked smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and his blood-red eyes stared at Raynor and Arya, as if he was looking at two lambs to be slaughtered.

"You ruined my good deeds," the figure said in a hoarse voice, "Now, it's time to pay the price."

Renault's heart sank. He knew that the real crisis had just begun...

"It's you, Blood Shadow!" Raynor gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on the energy sword. Blood Shadow, this name is feared by the entire underground world. He is a notorious assassin, known for his cruelty and cunning.

Blood Shadow smiled contemptuously, scanning Raynor and Arya with his blood-red eyes, as if admiring two prey that were about to fall into a trap. "It seems that you still remember me, it's an honor," he said in a creepy tone, "but you will soon forget everything, including yourself."

"Stop talking nonsense," Arya said coldly, aiming the beam gun in her hand at Blood Shadow's head, "What do you want?"

"What do I want?" Xueying raised his eyebrows and sneered contemptuously, "Of course I'm here to collect the debt you owe me."

"We have nothing to do with you," Renault said in a deep voice, but he was full of uneasiness in his heart. He always felt that things were not that simple. "What do you want to do?"

"Don't play dumb, Renault," Blood Shadow's voice turned icy cold, "You ruined my plan and let that monster go. Shouldn't you settle the score?"

Renault was shocked. The "monster" that Blood Shadow mentioned must be Rokod who was trapped in the energy cage. Could it be that there was some kind of deal between Blood Shadow and Rokod?

"I don't know what you're talking about," Renault said calmly, "We're just trying to protect ourselves."

"Self-protection?" Xueying laughed as if he had heard a big joke. His laughter was full of ridicule and disdain. "You guys who claim to be righteous people will always make excuses for yourselves."

He approached Raynor and Arya step by step, and his powerful aura made them breathless. "Today, let me teach you what true despair is!"

As soon as the words fell, Blood Shadow's figure suddenly disappeared. Raynor and Arya immediately became alert, standing back to back, vigilantly observing the movements around them.

The next second, Blood Shadow appeared behind Arya, and the sharp dagger pierced her heart like a poisonous snake. Arya reacted quickly, dodged the fatal blow by leaning sideways, and pulled the trigger with her backhand, and a beam of light shot towards Blood Shadow's chest.

However, Bloodshadow was incredibly fast and he dodged the beam easily. At the same time, he kicked Arya on the wrist, causing the beam gun to fly out of his hand and fly several meters away.

"Stop!" Renault roared. He knew he had no choice.
