Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 232

"Shit! Am I going to die?"

Li Mo felt like a torn sack, being pulled by a huge suction force. The world was spinning around him, and the last thing he saw was Su Qingcheng's terrified face.

When he woke up again, he found himself lying on a pile of soft hay, with a faint fragrance lingering around his nose. He struggled to get up, looked around, and found himself in a simple wooden house.

"Where is this?" Li Mo patted his head, trying to recall what happened before he fell into a coma.

"Are you awake?" A cold voice sounded. Li Mo looked in the direction of the voice and saw a woman in black tights sitting at a wooden table. She was holding a shiny dagger in her hand and wiping it carefully.

"You are...Su...Su Qingcheng?" Li Mo was a little uncertain. Although the woman in front of him looked the same as Su Qingcheng, her temperament was completely different. If the previous Su Qingcheng was like a rose with thorns, then now she was like a sword out of its sheath, full of sharp killing power.

"What? You don't recognize me, little brother?" The woman put down the dagger, and a playful sneer appeared on the corner of her mouth. "Or do you want to call me...sister?"

Li Mo shuddered. This woman was definitely not a good person! He swallowed his saliva and asked cautiously, "Where are we? And who are you?"

"Me?" The woman stood up, walked in front of Li Mo, and looked down at him. "I am the Su Qingcheng you know, but..." She paused, "We are now in a place you can't imagine. As for the rest, you will know soon."

"An unimaginable place?" Li Mo was even more confused. Could it be that they were no longer on Earth?

"Don't think about it, little brother," Su Qingcheng patted Li Mo's head, "Now is not the time to think about these things," her tone suddenly became serious, "You have to become stronger as soon as possible, otherwise..."

"Otherwise what?" Li Mo asked.

"Otherwise," Su Qingcheng's eyes flashed with a cold light, "you will die!"

Li Mo's heart trembled, realizing that his current situation might be much more dangerous than he had imagined. He took a deep breath and asked, "What do you want me to do?"

"It's very simple," Su Qingcheng sneered, "Just stay alive, and then..." She leaned close to Li Mo's ear and whispered, "Help me get revenge!"

Li Mo's pupils suddenly contracted and his heart began to beat violently...

"Revenge?" Li Mo repeated unconsciously, with doubt and a hint of fear in his tone. He looked at the woman in front of him who looked exactly like Su Qingcheng but exuded a dangerous aura, and his heart was as complicated as a pot of mixed feelings.

Su Qingcheng sneered, as if she saw through his thoughts, "Why, are you scared? Who do you think you are? You are a piece of trash that I picked up from the garbage dump. What right do you have to be scared?"

"I..." Li Mo was choked by her words and didn't know what to say for a moment.

"I'm telling you," Su Qingcheng pressed on, her tone icy and bone-chilling, "If I hadn't pulled you out of that hellhole, you would have turned into a pile of bones by now! You owe me so much that even your life won't be enough to pay it back!"

Li Mo was forced to retreat again and again until his back was against the cold wall. He raised his head and looked into Su Qingcheng's eyes full of hatred. Suddenly he realized that this woman was no longer the gentle and kind Su Qingcheng.

"How do you want me to help you get revenge?" Li Mo took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down. He knew that it was meaningless to argue with Su Qingcheng now. Only by figuring out the situation first could he find a way to survive.

Su Qingcheng seemed a little surprised by his sudden change of attitude. She raised her eyebrows and said with less harshness in her tone, "Why, have you figured it out? I thought you would kneel down like a coward and beg me to let you go."

"Stop talking nonsense," Li Mo interrupted her impatiently, "What do you want me to do?"

Su Qingcheng looked at him with a cruel smile on her lips, "I want you to help me kill Rokod!"

When he heard the name, a vague figure flashed through Li Mo's mind. That was the last image he saw before he passed out: a man wrapped in black mist with an unclear face.

"Who is Rocot?" Li Mo asked, although he had already vaguely guessed the answer.

"He is my enemy," Su Qingcheng said gritting her teeth, "and he is the one who killed us!"

"We?" Li Mo caught the key words in her words, "Who else?"

Su Qingcheng was silent for a moment, a trace of pain and struggle flashed in her eyes, but it was soon replaced by cold hatred. "You don't need to know so much," she said coldly, "Just remember that your life belongs to me, and your mission is to help me get revenge!"

"What if I don't agree?" Li Mo looked straight into her eyes, his tone calm but with a hint of provocation.

Su Qingcheng was stunned at first, then burst into laughter, her laughter full of ridicule and disdain, "Don't agree? Do you think you have a choice? You are just a chess piece in my hand. If I want you to live, you live. If I want you to die, you die!"

"Really?" Li Mo suddenly laughed, with a hint of weirdness and madness in his smile, "Then let's try and see who is the chess player and who is the chess piece!"
