Rocot: Reborn

"Avril, you disappoint me so much!" Rocot grabbed Avril's neck and kicked her slender body off the ground, with a dangerous light flashing in his eyes.

"Let...let her go!" Renault was horrified when he saw this, and quickly drew out the laser sword at his waist and pointed it at Rocot.

Roccod sneered, as if he had heard a huge joke: "Just you? You want to stop me?" He exerted a little force on his hands, and Avril struggled painfully, but to no avail.

"Locked, what do you want?" Renault's eyes were red with anger, but he was afraid to act rashly.

"What do I want?" Rocot raised an eyebrow, his tone full of teasing, "I never need to ask others for what I want."

"You..." Renault was speechless. He certainly knew what kind of person Roccod was. This man was insidious, cunning, cruel and ruthless. If Avril fell into his hands, she would probably be in great danger.

"Renault, don't worry about me... go away..." Avril uttered a few words with difficulty, her intermittent voice full of pain and despair.

"Shut up!" Rocot shouted impatiently, increasing the strength of his hand. "You are such a noisy woman!"

"Locked, let her go! Come to me if you have any problem!" Renault was extremely anxious when he saw Avril dying. He didn't care about anything else and rushed forward directly.

"Looking for death!" A cold light flashed in Rocot's eyes. He threw Avril towards Renault and turned into a black shadow, rushing towards him.

With a loud "bang", Renault was kicked away by Lokod and fell heavily more than ten meters away. The laser sword in his hand also slipped out of his hand and fell to the ground, making a "sizzling" sound of electricity.

"You think you can fight me with this little ability?" Roccod looked down at Reno with a mocking smile on his face. "You really don't know what you are capable of!"

"Cough cough..." Renault struggled to get up, but felt a sharp pain in his chest and a mouthful of blood spurted out.

"Reno!" Avril struggled to crawl to Reno, supported his body, and called his name anxiously.

"Avril...are you okay..." Renault endured the pain and stretched out his hand to touch Avril's face, but his hand fell down weakly.

"Renault, don't scare me... Just hold on, I'll take you to see a doctor..." Avril's tears couldn't stop flowing. She tried desperately to wake up Renault, but found that his breath was getting weaker and weaker.

"It's useless..." Renault shook his head with difficulty, a bitter smile spreading from the corner of his mouth, "I... I'm afraid I can't do it..."

"No, no... You will be fine..." Avril shook her head desperately, tears blurring her eyes.

"Weier... promise me... don't... don't come back..." Renault's voice became smaller and smaller, and finally disappeared completely. He stared at the sky with empty eyes, and his body gradually became cold.

"Renault! Renault--" Avril's heart-wrenching cries resounded through the sky, but could not awaken the life that had already passed away.

Locot watched all this coldly, without a trace of pity on his face, only endless indifference and ridicule.

"Humph, what a terrible love." Roccod's voice was icy cold, like a demon from the Netherworld. "But, love is worthless to me!"

He slowly squatted down, stretched out his fingers, gently lifted Avril's chin, and forced her to look at him.

"Now that your man is dead, do you have any last words?"

Avril stared at Rocot with her red eyes, as if she wanted to eat him alive. She bit her lower lip tightly, letting the blood flow down the corner of her mouth, but she didn't notice it at all.

"Last words? Haha, even if I die or become a ghost, I will not let you go!" Avril's voice was hoarse and trembling, but filled with deep hatred.

"Hahaha, a ghost?" Roccod laughed as if he had heard something funny. "With your fragile soul, you want to turn into a ghost? How naive!"

He suddenly shook Avril's chin away, stood up, and looked down at her, his eyes full of disdain and contempt.

"Do you think Renault really loves you? He is just using you! You are just a pawn in his hand, a tool to use against me!"

"You're talking nonsense!" Avril roared, her eyes burning with anger, "Renault would never do this to me, you lied to me!"

"Laughing?" Roccod sneered, walked to Renault's body, bent down, and fumbled out a chip from him, "What is this?"

Avril looked at the chip in confusion, not understanding what Rocot was trying to do.

Roccod inserted the chip into his terminal and read the data inside. After a moment, a playful smile appeared on his face.

"It seems that you are really kept in the dark," Roccod looked at Avril and said word by word, "This chip records all of Renault's secret operations over the years, including..."

He paused deliberately, observing Avril's expression.

"Including how he approached you, how he used your emotions, how he trained you to be his most capable assistant, and..." Roccod's tone became increasingly cold, "How he used you to spy on me!"

"Impossible... This is impossible..." Avril seemed to have lost all her strength. She collapsed on the ground powerlessly, her eyes empty and lifeless.

Her mind kept replaying every moment she had spent with Renault, those sweet memories, those vows of love. Now, they seemed like sharp blades, piercing her heart.

"No, I don't believe it! Renault is not that kind of person..." Avril shook her head desperately, trying to deny Rocot's words, but found that she was powerless to refute.

Roccod looked at Avril's collapse without a trace of emotion in his heart. He had long seen through the ugliness of human nature. In his eyes, love, friendship, and family affection were nothing more than tools to be used.

"Avril, wake up! There has never been any true love in this world! If you want to survive, you must abandon those illusory things. Only power is eternal!"

Roccod's voice echoed in Avril's ears like the whisper of a devil. He slowly leaned over, leaned close to Avril's ear, and whispered softly, "Submit to me, become my woman, I can give you everything you want, including... power!"

Avril suddenly raised her head and looked directly at Rocot, her eyes full of struggle and hesitation.
