Rocot: Reborn
Chapter 167
Rocot sneered and moved through the crowd like a ghost. Each of his attacks was precise and ruthless. Only bursts of screams were heard, and several men fell to the ground, groaning in pain.
Roccod clapped his hands, as if he had done something insignificant. He turned to look at the girl behind him and asked, "Are you okay?"
The girl raised her head and looked at Rocot, her eyes full of gratitude and surprise, "Thank you, I'm fine."
"What's your name?" Rocot asked.
"My name is Arya," the girl whispered.
"Arya..." Rocot repeated the girl's name, a playful smile on his face. "What a nice name."
Arya felt a little flustered by Rocot's gaze. She subconsciously took a step back and asked, "What...what do you want to do?"
"Don't be nervous. I'm just interested in what you have." Rocot said, his eyes falling on the metal box that Arya was holding tightly.
"What do you want to do? I said, this is the relic my father left me. No one can take it away!" Arya looked at Rocot warily and said in a firm tone.
"Oh? Really?" Rocot smiled noncommittally, "What if I really want to see it?"
"You..." Arya suddenly became nervous. She hugged the box tightly, but didn't know what to do.
Rocot approached Arya step by step, with a wicked smile on his face, "You know what? I hate it most when people say 'no' to me."
"Don't be afraid, little beauty." Roccod approached step by step, his tone frivolous, but revealing an unquestionable sense of oppression, "I just want to see what treasure is worthy of your protection."
Arya hugged the box tightly, as if protecting her last treasure. She stepped back, but found herself cornered. "You, don't come over here! I've called the police. If you come over here again, I'll call for help!"
As if Roccod had heard some kind of joke, his deep laughter echoed in the empty alley, sounding particularly eerie and terrifying. "Call the police? Little beauty, look around here, is there anyone else besides us?"
Arya then realized that the alley, which had been quite busy before, was now empty. The vendors who had been setting up stalls nearby had disappeared without a trace, leaving only her, Rocot, and the hooligans wailing on the ground.
Fear was like a cold snake, wrapping around Arya's heart. She bit her lip and tried to keep herself calm. "What do you want to do? I, I really don't have any money..."
"Money?" Rocot raised his eyebrows, a hint of playfulness on his lips. "I'm not interested in your money." He paused, staring at the box in Arya's hand. "I just want this box."
"Impossible!" Arya hugged the box tighter, her tone firm. "This is a relic my father left me. I will never give it to anyone!"
The smile on Roccod's face gradually disappeared. He restrained his frivolous expression, and his eyes became cold and dangerous. "My little beauty, I will give you one last chance. Give me the box, and I can pretend that nothing happened."
Arya's heart was beating violently, but she still shook her head stubbornly, "No, I won't give it to you! Even if you kill me, I won't give it to you!"
Rocot's eyes suddenly became fierce. He moved quickly, grabbed Arya's neck, and pressed her against the wall. "You think I don't dare?"
Arya felt difficulty breathing and her vision went dark, but she still stared at Rocot stubbornly, her eyes full of unyielding and anger.
"What a stubborn girl..." Roccod looked at Arya, a hint of admiration flashed in his eyes, but then turned into a cold chill, "Since you don't want to drink my toast, don't blame me for being rude!"
As Rocot said this, he reached out his other hand to the box in Arya's hand. At this moment, something strange happened! The originally quiet metal box suddenly vibrated violently, and a dazzling light shone through the gap in the box, illuminating the narrow alley like daylight.
Rocot was startled and subconsciously let go of Arya and stepped back. Arya was also stunned. She stared blankly at the box in her hand, not knowing what had happened.
The light became brighter and brighter, and Arya felt a burning sensation in her hand. She couldn't help but screamed in pain and let go of her hand. The box fell to the ground, and the light burst out instantly, covering Rocot and Arya...
The dazzling light comes quickly and goes away quickly.
When Locot came to his senses, the dazzling light had disappeared, and only a faint smell of burnt metal remained in the narrow alley. There was no metal box, and no damn little girl.
"Where are the people?" Roccod cursed, his handsome face full of impatience. He looked around, and there was no one in the empty alley, only a few hooligans on the ground were still groaning in pain.
"Damn, I'm not going to be blown away, am I?" Roccod cursed, and tidied up his messy clothes. He just wanted to have some fun and see what treasure was hidden in the box that the little girl was trying so hard to protect, but who knew he would encounter such a strange thing.
"Boss, she's gone!" At this time, a gangster struggled to get up, pointed in the direction of the alley entrance, and said in a trembling voice, "Just now, after the light flashed, the girl disappeared! The box is gone too!"
"Useless!" Roccod kicked the thug in the chest and sent him flying. "It's all your fault. You can't even take care of a little girl! If you can't find the box, you'll all be fed to the robot dog!"
The hooligans were so scared that their faces turned pale. They crawled to their feet and searched everywhere for Arya and the box.
"Boss, look!" a gangster pointed at the corner and shouted in horror.
Roccod looked in the direction of the gangster's finger and saw an ancient ring lying quietly on the ground in the corner. The ring was silver-white in color and carved with some strange patterns, which looked mysterious and ancient.
Roccod walked over, bent down to pick up the ring, and examined it carefully. The ring was cold to the touch, and the strange patterns on it seemed to be flowing faintly, emitting a strange energy fluctuation.
"Boss, could this be something that girl dropped?" a gangster asked cautiously.
Roccod ignored the thug. He had a feeling that this ring was not simple and might be related to the vision just now. He tried to put the ring on his finger, but it did not move at all.
"Strange..." Roccod frowned slightly. The ring seemed to be the right size, so why couldn't he wear it?
