Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 160

Rocco held Xiaodie's hand and walked into an even darker alley with twists and turns.

"Hey, where are you taking me?" Xiaodie was a little panicked. It was pitch dark here. Was he going to sell herself out?

"Don't worry, I'm not interested in a little girl like you." Roccod said without turning his head, with a hint of teasing in his tone.

"You!" Xiaodie stomped her feet in anger, but she didn't dare to shake off his hand. She could only follow him angrily.

After walking for a while, Rocot stopped in front of a rusty iron door.

"We're here." he said calmly.

"Is this the place?" Xiaodie looked at the shabby place and felt even more unsure. "Are you living in this damn place?"

Rocot did not answer, but took a key from his pocket, inserted it into the lock, and turned it gently.

"Squeak——"

With a sharp sound, the iron door slowly opened, and a cold and damp breath rushed towards her. Xiaodie couldn't help but shiver.

"Come in." Roccod walked in first.

Xiaodie hesitated for a moment, but finally followed in.

After passing through a narrow passage, the view suddenly opened up and a huge underground space appeared in front of Xiaodie.

I saw that this underground space was brightly lit, and the surrounding walls were inlaid with various glowing crystals, illuminating the entire space like daylight.

In the center of the space, there is a huge metal table, which is piled with various strange-shaped instruments and parts, flashing dazzling light.

"What is this place?" Xiaodie opened her mouth in surprise.

"My laboratory." Roccod said calmly, "How is it? Not bad, right?"

"Laboratory?" Xiaodie was even more confused. "You are a gambler, why do you have a laboratory?"

"Who told you I'm a gambler?" Rocot said with a playful smile.

"Then you..." Xiaodie suddenly remembered Roccod's amazing gambling skills in the casino. Could it be...

"Yes, I am actually a mechanic." Roccod seemed to see through Xiaodie's thoughts and said with a smile, "A mechanic with special abilities."

"Special ability?" Xiaodie became even more curious, "What special ability?"

"Want to know?" Rocot walked to the table, picked up a metal ball, and tossed it in his hand. "Then it depends on whether you have the courage."

As he spoke, he gently tossed the metal ball, which drew a graceful arc in the air and landed at Xiaodie's feet.

Xiaodie looked down and saw that the surface of the metal ball suddenly cracked, and a gorgeous red flower slowly bloomed, emitting a charming fragrance...

Xiaodie was startled by this sudden change. She took a few steps back and looked at Rocot warily, "You, what did you do to me?"

Seeing Xiaodie's reaction, Rokod couldn't help laughing. "Little girl, you are so timid, how dare you come to a place like this with me?"

"Stop talking nonsense! Tell me, what did you do to me?" Xiaodie said, touching her face with her hand, fearing that Rocot had done something to her.

"Don't worry, I'm not interested in your small body." Roccod said, walking to Fluttershy, bending down, leaning close to her ear, and speaking in a low voice, "I just want to show you what I'm capable of."

Roccod's breath sprayed on Xiaodie's ears, making her feel itchy. She couldn't help but shrink her neck, but Roccod's words made her even more curious, "Ability? What ability?"

Roccod stood up, walked to the table, picked up a part, and fiddled with it in his hands. "My ability is to give life to machines."

"Giving life to machines?" Xiaodie opened her eyes wide and looked at Roccod in disbelief. "You, what nonsense are you talking about?"

"You'll soon know whether it's nonsense or not." Rocot said, throwing the parts in his hand into the air, then dancing his hands quickly and muttering something.

As Roccod moved, the parts that were originally scattered on the table seemed to be given life. They flew into the air one after another, combined together according to a special trajectory, and soon formed a huge mechanical arm.

"This..." Xiaodie was stunned. She had never seen such a magical sight.

Roccod ignored Xiaodie's surprise and continued to control the mechanical arm. The mechanical arm waved in the air a few times and then slammed towards the metal wall on the side.

"boom!"

With a loud bang, a huge dent was smashed into the metal wall by the mechanical arm, which shows how powerful it is.

"How about it? Do you believe what I say now?" Rocot looked at Xiaodie with a smug smile on his face.

"You, who are you?" Xiaodie looked at Roccod with fear and awe in her eyes. She finally realized that the man in front of her was far from as simple as she had imagined.

Roccod did not answer Xiaodie's question. Instead, he walked to the dented metal wall, reached out his hand and gently stroked it a few times, and said as if talking to himself: "This world will soon change..."

Xiaodie didn't know what Roccod meant, but she could feel a sense of uneasiness spreading in her heart...

"The weather changed? I think you've lost your mind and it's going to rain!" Xiaodie was scared but she didn't let him off. "Stop playing tricks here. What on earth do you want to do?"

Roccod turned around and stared at her with cold eyes, as if he was looking at an ant. "You are qualified to ask me questions?" He approached step by step, and Xiaodie subconsciously stepped back until her back was against the cold wall.

"You, what do you want to do? I'm warning you, I'm not someone you can easily mess with!" Xiaodie shouted in a timid tone, but her trembling voice betrayed her fear.

Roccod suddenly laughed, his laughter was deep and full of charm, but it made Xiaodie feel creepy. "Little girl, do you know that your current situation is like a little white rabbit that has strayed into a tiger's den, and I..." He suddenly approached and whispered in her ear, "I am the most ferocious tiger."

Xiaodie was so scared that her whole body trembled, and a warm liquid slid down her thighs. She was so scared that she peed her pants!

Seeing this scene, Roccod was not disgusted, but became more excited. He stuck out his tongue and licked his lips. "What a delicious horror. I like little wild cats like you. It's exciting!"

Xiaodie was extremely ashamed and angry. She had never been humiliated like this since she was a child, but facing this terrifying man, she didn't even have the courage to resist.

"You, don't mess around! My brother is the boss of the black market. If you dare to touch me, he won't let you go!" Xiaodie brought out her own backers, trying to intimidate this madman.

"The black market boss?" Roccod laughed as if he had heard something funny. "Hahahaha, that loser dares to call himself the boss in front of me? He really doesn't know his place!"

"You, you know my brother?" A glimmer of hope rose in Xiaodie's heart. Perhaps this man and her brother were old acquaintances, and for the sake of her brother, he might let her go.

"Know him? More than that, he knelt down and begged me to save his worthless life!" Locot's eyes turned fierce, as if he thought of something that made him angry.

Xiaodie was completely dumbfounded. She couldn't believe that her brother, whom she had always respected, would kneel in front of this man and beg for mercy. How was this possible?

"You, you're talking nonsense! How could my brother..." Xiaodie was rudely interrupted by Rocot before she could finish her words.

"What? You don't believe it?" Roccod grabbed Xiaodie's hair and forced her to look up and look into his eyes. "Ask him, who gave him the first start-up capital when he was at his lowest point? Who helped him eliminate all his competitors? And who made him sit in the position he is in today?"

Xiaodie shook her head in pain. She couldn't believe it, nor did she want to believe that her beloved brother would be such a person.

"What? You don't want to accept reality?" Roccod let go of Xiaodie's hand and let her collapse on the ground. "Little girl, remember, in this world, only the strong have the right to speak, and your brother is nothing more than my dog!"

Xiaodie slumped on the ground with empty eyes. Rocot's words were like a bolt from the blue, completely shattering the last glimmer of hope in her heart.

"Okay, now, can you tell me what you are doing here?" Rocot sat back in his chair, poured himself a glass of wine, and sipped it slowly, as if everything that had just happened had nothing to do with him.

Xiaodie raised her head mechanically and looked at Rokod with empty eyes. Her mind was now full of the image of her brother kneeling on the ground begging for mercy, and she could not hear what Rokod was saying at all.

Seeing Xiaodie's distraught look, Roccod became impatient, "I'll ask you again, what are you doing here?"

Xiaodie's thoughts were pulled back by Rokod's voice. She then remembered that she came here for something very important to do...
