Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 135

Rocot stood in the center of the destroyed city, watching the afterglow of the setting sun shine on the ruins. He had a faint smile on his face, but the smile did not reach his eyes, which made him look particularly cold. He looked up at the high-rise buildings that had been destroyed beyond recognition, and his heart was filled with determination.

"Everyone needs to start over, this city, and me." He whispered to himself, with a barely perceptible hint of irony in his tone. His eyes penetrated the ruins, as if he had seen the blueprint for the future.

Roccod picked up a piece of broken metal from the broken street, and rubbed the cold touch with his fingertips, as if thinking about something. He suddenly raised his head, his eyes firm, as if he had made some kind of decision.

"In this life, I will rebuild the Dark Night Empire in the new century, and I, Rokod, the future king, will step into the uninhabited wilderness from now on."

He threw away the metal in his hand, turned around and left the ruins, heading towards the forbidden area that had long been forgotten. The afterglow of the setting sun gradually disappeared on the horizon, and his figure was swallowed by the darkness, leaving only the oath that echoed in the wind.

At the entrance to the restricted area, an ancient stone door stood quietly, engraved with mysterious runes. Roccod pushed open the door without hesitation and walked into the unknown darkness. The world behind the door was full of dangers and unknowns, but he did not flinch, because he knew that there was a forbidden technology hidden there that could unveil the veil of the new world order.

His footsteps echoed in the darkness, reverberating through the empty tunnels. The air was filled with the smell of decay and dust, but Rocot didn't care. He only had his eyes on his goal, the forbidden technology that would allow him to truly control the world.

After walking for a long time, a faint light appeared in front of them. Roccod quickened his pace and his heartbeat also accelerated. He knew what was hidden behind the light, but he was not afraid at all, but full of expectation.

Suddenly, he heard a low rumble and the ground began to shake slightly. Rocot stopped and looked around alertly. A moment later, a huge mechanical arm stretched out from the darkness and attacked him with destructive force.

"Get out of the way!" Roccod dodged quickly, and the mechanical arm brushed past his body and hit the ground, stirring up a cloud of dust. He rolled around in a panic, and quickly stood up with a grim smile on his face.

"It seems that this place is indeed interesting." He whispered, with a hint of fanaticism in his eyes. His hand slowly touched the hilt of the knife at his waist, and his eyes stared at the mechanical monster in the dark like a hawk.

"Come on, let me see what you can do to me!" Rocot shouted, drew out his long sword, and rushed towards the mechanical monster. The blade flashed with cold light, drawing an arc in the darkness.

The mechanical monster roared, and the huge mechanical arm attacked again. Rocco dodged deftly and slashed at the mechanical arm. Metal and metal collided, sparks flew, and a fierce battle unfolded in the darkness.

This is just the beginning. Roccod knows that there are more challenges waiting for him ahead. And he is already ready to face all of them, until he obtains the forbidden technology and becomes the master of the new world.

Rokod ignored the pursuit of the mechanical arm behind him. He turned his head and sneered, "You are just a toy of rats. You think you are the king of beasts just because you bark a few times?"

The walls were shaking, roars and sharp sounds of metal rubbing echoed in the empty walls, but Rocot walked in the dark dungeon as if he were walking on flat ground. His eyes were like a falcon, accurately capturing everything around him. His hands stroked the hilt of the knife at his waist, and a silent storm was about to come.

He suddenly stopped and heard another whine. After listening carefully for a while, he was sure that it was not the laughter of the mechanical monster that was still chasing him, but a deep call.

"Is it the call of light, or the temptation of darkness?" Rocot smiled, with a hint of pride and mockery. His eyes emitted a sharp light, cutting through the fog of darkness.

His figure instantly disappeared into the darkness, but his voice floated in the darkness, "Whether it is light or darkness, machinery or magic, I will use my hands to hold the lifeblood of this world, and they will eventually listen to my call."

His steps were steady, like a knight who knew that the road ahead was full of thorns and traps, but he still walked straight ahead. In the narrow cave, he seemed to be huge. The dark air was bent, as if to make way for him.

As he walked forward, a cold light burst out from the darkness and swept straight at Rocot's arm. However, Rocot only slightly turned sideways, and the knife pierced his shoulder armor.

He turned around, and wild laughter resounded in the chaotic darkness. The sound pierced into the iron skin of the mechanical beast, and the sword light was like a dragon, breaking through the oppression of the darkness.

The mechanical beast in the darkness retreated in shock, while Rocot slowly walked into the narrow dark cave, still with a faint smile on his face.

"A broken iron thing wants to be on the same level as me?" He whispered softly, looking back at the huge mechanical beast in the darkness, "Then let me see if you are really qualified!"

"Come on!" Rocot shouted, waving the knife in his hand and rushing into the depths of darkness.

With violent ambition in his heart and wearing concealed armor, Rocot trudged through the dark corridors, waiting for the ranger to appear.

In his heart, the roar of the Dark Night Soul gradually became louder and louder. Every shudder was an echo of the Dark Night Soul's anger. He lurked in the darkness, eager to break free from the shackles and release the endless darkness.

Rocot strode forward, his shadow growing darker and darker, like a black hole swallowing up all the light around him. The corridor echoed with his footsteps, calm and orderly, each step like a war drum, accumulating strength and determination.

During the long wait, Locot closed his eyes, his consciousness spread out like a thread, capturing every slight movement. He must know the whereabouts of the ranger.

"Are you looking for me?" Suddenly, a voice sounded in his ear, with sarcasm and teasing. Roccod suddenly opened his eyes and looked around, but he didn't see anyone.

"Don't look for me anymore. I'm right behind you." The voice sounded again, with a barely perceptible smile. Rokod turned quickly and swung the knife in his hand, but missed.

The ranger's figure was erratic, like a phantom, appearing and disappearing in the corridor. Locot snorted coldly, and his body instantly accelerated, like a black wind, penetrating the misty dust.

His eyes emitted two cold rays of light, searching for the enemy in the darkness. Every friction between the blade and the air was like the cry of the soul, burning with the flame of revenge.

Rocot is an indomitable conqueror of the dark night, his name and legend are destined to be passed down through the ages in the darkness.
