Rocot: Reborn

Chapter 108

In a dark library in the future world, Rocco and Leah walked slowly along a long, dusty corridor. Gray light shone through the window, and outside the window were black clouds floating in the sky, as if about to cause a storm. The air was filled with a heavy smell of books and mold, and every step was like stepping on the heavy dust of history.

With his eyes fixed on the forbidden book that could strengthen his dark power, Roccod is now more hungry for power than ever before.

"Don't be too reckless, my lord. There are too many powers hidden in these books that we don't know about." Leia's voice was low and rapid. She followed closely behind Rocot, holding the energy dagger in her hand, ready to fight against any sudden threats.

"Don't worry, Leah. Only strength can keep us at the top of the world." Roccod turned his head and a dark smile appeared on his lips. His pupils flashed with ambition in the dim light.

They came to a closed secret room with ancient symbols carved on the door. It was the language of the ancient civilization, an ancient culture covered by dark magic. A faint blue light leaked through the crack of the door, symbolizing the temptation of knowledge and power.

Leah stared at the door. "Look at that light, my Lord. It must hold an important secret. But please remember that great power may also come with a devastating price."

Rocot nodded, took a deep breath, and put his hand on the doorknob. His finger touched the doorknob, and the strange symbols began to change, and the door slowly opened, and dust flew up.

The two walked into the secret room and saw a tall desk in the middle, on which was a heavy book that seemed to contain endless wisdom and dark secrets. Rocot walked forward and reached out to touch the heavy cover, which was cold and smooth.

Just as he was about to turn the first page, the whole room suddenly shook, as if some ancient power had been awakened. He and Leah exchanged a worried look, knowing that what they were about to uncover might be a secret that could subvert the entire future world.

The flash of anger on Rocot's face made Leah take a few steps back involuntarily. The ancient power that came from the ancient book she had just opened was much more unpredictable and thrilling than she had imagined. Every page of the book was like a howling storm, and the dust seemed to hide the resentment and secrets of history.

"What is recorded here?" Leah asked nervously, her voice trembling.

A cold smile appeared on Roccod's lips, and his eyes swept over the dark blue text. "This is a forbidden technique of the Gu'er civilization, which has been forgotten for thousands of years. Once these forbidden techniques are mastered, they will be enough to plunge the entire future world into darkness and destruction." His voice was low and full of the charm of power.

Leia's heartbeat quickened. She knew that such power was a double-edged sword. "My Lord, this...isn't this too dangerous? Can we really control it?"

Roccod raised his hand to stop her, "Knowledge has always been power, Leah. And power needs brave people to wield it. You see, isn't this world ruled by brave people like us?"

He revealed a bit of pride in his words and continued to turn the pages. Dust flew along with the scattered light, and every time he turned the page, it was like a wave, making the entire secret room even darker and more mysterious.

Suddenly, Rokod stopped moving, his eyes locked on a drawing, his brows furrowed. Leah took a closer look and saw a complex ritual array drawn on the drawing, with a strange gem in the center, emitting a faint blue glow.

"We found it... This is the key to open the 'Door of Darkness'." Roccod's voice was full of determination and enthusiasm.

"The Nightgate? What is that place?" Leah felt uneasy.

Roccod stared at her, his tone suddenly becoming mysterious and profound, "An unexplored dark realm, haunted by ancient and powerful dark forces. Once opened, countless hidden dark creatures will be under our control, and the fate of the entire universe will be rewritten."

Leah couldn't help but gasp. This plan was too shocking and too dangerous. She couldn't imagine what the world would be like once the door was opened. At this time, Rocot had been swallowed by the temptation. He turned to that page with a firm and quick gesture, as if telling Leah that nothing could be changed.

Just as she was about to stop it, a powerful energy shock wave shot up from the center of the book, dragging them into an unknown area. Roccod sneered and welcomed the power, but Leah was terrified and confused.

Roccod sneered, his eyes revealing endless fanaticism. He stood at the center of the energy shock wave, feeling the surge of powerful force. Leah looked around nervously, the darkness around them seemed to be slowly swallowing them.

"My Lord, can we really control this kind of power?" Leia's voice was almost desperate. She knew that this kind of power was not something they could control at will.

Rocot gave her a cold look and said, "Leah, have you forgotten our goal? Only by mastering this power can we rebuild the Dark Night Empire and make those who betrayed me pay the price." His voice was low and powerful, and every word seemed to knock on Leia's heart.

At this moment, the gem in the center of the book glowed brightly, and a huge dark vortex formed in the air, quickly sucking the two of them in. Roccod stepped into the vortex without hesitation, and Leah could only follow closely behind.

The world in front of him suddenly became dark, with only endless darkness and cold air all around. Roccod held Leah's hand tightly, feeling her trembling, he sneered and whispered, "Don't be afraid, this is just the beginning."

In the darkness, a faint blue light gradually appeared, leading them into a completely different world. This world was filled with a strong and cold atmosphere, surrounded by towering black walls, and the walls were engraved with ancient runes.

"Where is this?" Leah asked nervously.

"On the other side of the Dark Night Gate," Roccod said with excitement in his eyes, "Here is the ruins of the Gu'er civilization, and it is also the starting point for us to rebuild the Dark Night Empire."

Suddenly, a figure slowly walked out from the shadows, wearing a black cloak and a strange smile on his face. His voice was as harsh as the friction of metal, "Welcome, Roccod, Leah. Your arrival has long been anticipated."

Rocot looked at the figure warily, "Who are you? How do you know our names?"

The man laughed loudly, his voice full of sarcasm, "I am the protector of this world and your guide. If you want to control this power, you must pass my test."

Rocot snorted disdainfully. "Tests? I've been through countless tests. Nothing can stop me."

The man slowly approached, a cold light flashing in his eyes, "I hope you can maintain this confidence. We'll see."

As soon as he finished speaking, the darkness around him suddenly surged in like a tide, engulfing Roccod and Leah. The two were instantly separated and trapped in their own dark mazes. Roccod felt the pressure around him gradually increasing, and he understood that this was an unprecedented challenge.

In this dark maze, every step is full of danger, and every corner hides deadly traps. Rocot moves forward cautiously, knowing that only with wisdom and courage can he pass this test and gain the power to change his destiny.

Just as he was concentrating on finding a way out, a familiar cry suddenly sounded in the darkness, "Lord, save me!"

Roccod was startled. It was Leah's voice. He immediately quickened his pace and ran towards the direction of the voice. In the darkness, he vaguely saw Leah trapped in a huge iron cage, surrounded by flashing runes.

"Leah, don't be afraid, I'm coming!" Rocot's voice was full of determination. He knew that no matter what obstacles lay ahead, he must rescue Leah.

However, the moment he approached the iron cage, a strong light burst out from the rune and enveloped Roccod. He felt an irresistible force pulling him into an even darker abyss.
