After checking Tony's body in the hospital, the condition was worse than Potts thought, but better than Inson thought. In short, it was neither good nor bad.

The main problem is the external material of the reactor on Tony’s chest. However, this problem cannot be solved in a short time, so Tony has to build a new one himself.

This time after the physical examination, there was nothing else that would affect Tony, so he asked Potts to contact the media reporters and hold an impromptu press conference.

Yinsen declined Tony's suggestion to go back to Stark Tower to rest first, so they left the hospital and went straight to the press conference.

The car drove into the venue, and there were people all around. People in suits and leather shoes stood around the car and applauded. At the front of the car, there was an old man with a bald head and white beard. He was wearing a yellow polka dot tie. When he saw the car door open, he put down his hand that was adjusting his tie, opened his arms and greeted him:

"Look! Tony."

He hugged Tony tightly as he took one step out, exclaimed "Wow", then let go and said apologetically:

"We wanted to meet you at the hospital."

"I am fine."

"look at you."

The old man wanted to exchange pleasantries with Tony, but Tony looked very anxious and walked away quickly after saying a few words to him.

This made the old man's hand on Tony's shoulder fall empty. He didn't seem to care too much, but his eyes under his sunglasses narrowed slightly. Then the two people who got out of the car attracted his attention.

Yingsen carried Qiqi out of the car and nodded to the old man.

The old man paused, then laughed:

"Oh, you must be Mr. Inson. Thank you for everything you have done for Tony. Please move to the venue."

The old man said this as if he was the host, but Yingsen didn't think too much about it since he saw how familiar he was with Tony. However, Qiqi on the side felt a little strange.

Although she was wearing sunglasses, Qiqi could feel the old man's gaze always lingering on her inadvertently.

Qiqi felt a little uncomfortable, so she buried her head in Yingsen's arms.

When the old man saw Qiqi's actions, a look of displeasure appeared on his face, but it was quickly concealed.

Fortunately, the media's attention was on Tony, and the flash lights were following the figures in front. Yingsen and Qiqi did not attract the attention of the reporters and walked into the venue smoothly.

They stood at the back, while the old man walked forward and sat in the front row above the media reporters.

Only then did Inson have time to ask Potts questions, and Potts told him that the old man was one of the founders of Stark Industries, a good friend of Tony's father, and the largest shareholder of Stark Industries besides Tony, and his name was Obadiah.

Potts thinks highly of Obadiah, not only because of his contribution to Stark Industries, but also because he provided Potts with a lot of help during the time Tony was missing.

After listening to what Potts said, Qiqi felt that this grandfather was actually a good person, and she quickly forgot about the discomfort she had just felt.

At this moment, a voice suddenly interrupted.

"Miss Potts."

"Yes."

Potts turned around and saw a man also wearing a black suit with an ID card pinned to his chest.

She thought this was also a reporter on the scene who failed to grab a seat next to Tony and came to her to inquire.

"Can I ask you a question?"

really.

Potts cursed inwardly, but his attitude was impeccable: "Oh, I don't usually participate in Q&A. The press conference will start soon."

But to her surprise, the man denied his identity as a reporter.

"My name is Agent Phil Coulson, and I am with the Strategic Homeland Defense Attack and Logistics Directorate."

Boz turned to the man halfway through:

“What a difficult name to pronounce.”

Phil Coulson didn't mind. He took out a business card and handed it to Potts:

“Yeah, we’re still improving.”

Potts looked at the information on the business card. She had never heard of this department, but there were many hidden agencies on the official side, and she had dealt with many of them.

"The Department of Defense, the FBI, and the CIA have all contacted us."

She said to the man.

"We are an independent department with clearer and more focused goals."

"We need to question Mr. Stark about the circumstances of his escape."

When Inson heard this, he looked at Coulson involuntarily, but he reacted and quickly turned his gaze away.

Compared to Inson's accidental exposure of a flaw, Potts' response was flawless.

With a professional and formal smile on her face, she looked at Coulson slowly and said:

"I'll add it to the schedule, okay?"

"Thank you."

Coulson actually understood that this kind of rhetoric meant waiting for notification indefinitely, but he was an experienced agent, so he did not show any angry expression. Instead, he nodded politely, thanked the person, and left.

He didn't walk far, but found a position where he could see Tony Stark and observe Boz and others.

After Coulson stood still, he touched his ear, and then a woman's voice came from the earphone on his ear.

"Yes, she is cautious."

Coulson said to the person on the other end: "I met Yingsen and the little girl named Qiqi. I think Yingsen is fine, but the little girl remains to be seen."

The woman said a few words after hearing this.

"No threat has been detected so far. It is recommended to maintain the status quo."

Coulson replied.

"Okay, sir. I'll keep following up on this matter."

After the communication was disconnected, Coulson found another agent and whispered a few words to him. The agent looked at the little girl in the distance, nodded to Coulson, and strode away.

Colonel Roddy was naturally one of the invited guests, but he couldn't understand why Tony was so eager to hold a press conference.

Seeing that the reporters sat down on the ground at Tony's 'request', he also moved closer to Potts.

"Why did it turn into a hippie party?"

"Don't ask me, I don't know what he wants to do."

As Potts listened to Tony's words about not being able to say goodbye to his father, and his understanding of producing weapons and contributing to society, she felt a smile on her face. Just when she thought that this experience had made this man finally grow up and have a sense of social responsibility, Tony's bomb-like conclusion made her brain freeze immediately.

"Effective immediately, I am shutting down the weapons production division of Stark International."

"Oh my god, oh my god."

Not to mention Potts, such explosive news made the reporters lying on the ground go crazy like zombies. They rushed forward and surrounded Tony.

“Until I decide on the future of the company and its direction.”

Tony finished what he wanted to say before being pulled away by Obadiah:

"A direction that I can accept and that is consistent with the best interests of the country."

He did not make this decision on impulse, but after long consideration.

Although this decision is not popular with everyone, for example, Obadiah's face turned livid, no longer as gentle as before.

The scene was in chaos, with reporters pushing and shoving forward. For safety reasons, Insen and his colleagues left first, and Potts arranged for them to stay in the lounge of the venue.

"I gonna go see."

"I will go with you."

Potts understood that Inson was also concerned about Tony. She was the only one with the access card to the lounge, so it was very safe. So she squatted down and said to Qiqi, "Qiqi, we'll be out for five minutes. You can play here for a while."

She took out a tablet, found the cartoon that her children liked most and started playing it, then she put the tablet on the table.

"Qiqi, watch some cartoons. We'll be back soon."

Qiqi nodded, sat on the soft blanket, pulled the tablet on the table, and looked curiously at the jumping and talking duck on the screen.

Seeing that the little girl was very obedient, Potts and Inson left without any worries.

Outside the venue, reporters were still vying to ask questions.

\"Mr. Obadiah, what do you think about this matter?\"

\"Stark Group will stop all weapons sales, both international and domestic?\"

\"Mr. Stark, what is your purpose in closing the weapons production department?\"

\"Why did you suddenly shut down the company's weapons production department? What happened?\"

"Mr. Stark! Mr. Stark!"

\"Please make way.\"

Inson pushed the reporters aside and freed Tony from the crowd.

"Oh my god, what have you done?"

“This is what I’ve always wanted to do Inson.”

Tony was very calm in the midst of chaos, as if he had accomplished something big and felt somewhat relieved.

Back in the lounge, he was even interested in watching cartoons with Qiqi. He picked Qiqi up and put her on his lap, holding the tablet in his hand and commenting:

"Wow, let me see what Qiqi is looking at. What is this? A duck meeting?"

"Qiqi is watching "Mickey vs. PsyDuck"

The girl said seriously.

"Oh, what a weird name." Tony complained. He opened the cartoon and saw the name "Duck Troops" clearly written on it?

"This is Mickey," Qiqi pointed at a little duck, "This is Psyduck," Qiqi introduced seriously.

"It was the uncle just now...who told Qiqi."

The uncle from before?

Wait, someone was here! ?
