Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 408 suddenly failed

Every practice brings new discoveries and progress, and every challenge makes him more determined and confident. Harry sat in front of the window in the study, looking at the stars in the night sky, feeling a lot of emotions in his heart. He recalled his experiences in the past few months and felt that he had never grown and changed before. He knew that although this road was difficult, it was this challenge that made him stronger and wiser.

"Harry, what are you thinking about?" Hermione's voice interrupted his thoughts, and she and Ron came in with hot butterbeer.

Harry took the glass with a smile: "I just think that after all we have been through, we are getting closer and closer to the truth."

Ron raised his glass: "Then cheers to our hard work and persistence!"

After a few weeks of practice at home, Harry felt that his understanding and control of strange energy had improved significantly. However, he also realized that he needed more guidance and advice, especially in the fun and application of magic. So he decided to return to Hogwarts and talk to Professor McGonagall, one of his most respected teachers.

Harry had mixed feelings when he returned to Hogwarts. Although it was full of challenges and dangers, it was also a place where he grew up and gained friendships. When he walked into the school, he felt a familiar warmth and sense of security.

Harry knocked on Professor McGonagall's office door and heard her familiar voice: "Come in."

"Harry," Professor McGonagall looked up and saw him, and smiled with relief, "How have you been lately?"

Harry walked in with a smile and sat opposite her: "Professor, I have some questions about magic that I want to discuss with you."

Professor McGonagall nodded, motioning for him to continue.

"I've been studying strange energy recently, trying to apply it to various magics." Harry said, "I found that this energy can not only enhance the power of magic, but also bring many new possibilities. But sometimes, I forget the fun and original intention of magic. Can you talk to me?"

Professor McGonagall's eyes flashed with a soft light, and she smiled and said, "Harry, the power of magic is indeed fascinating, but its fun and meaning are far more than that. Magic is not only a tool, but also an art and exploration."

She stood up, walked to the window, looked at the scenery outside, and continued, "When I was learning Transfiguration, every successful transformation made me feel extremely happy and accomplished. That feeling came not only from mastering new skills, but also from discovering the infinite possibilities of the world."

Harry listened to Professor McGonagall's words, and things began to clear up for him. He recalled the excitement of riding his broom for the first time, the joy of casting his first successful spell, and the feeling of freedom he felt when flying during a Quidditch match. These memories made him feel the pure joy that magic brought, not just power and responsibility.

"Professor, you're right," Harry nodded, "Sometimes I focus too much on power and responsibility and forget the fun of magic itself."

Professor McGonagall returned to her seat and looked at Harry tenderly: "Harry, the fun of magic lies in exploration and discovery, in every new attempt and challenge. No matter how difficult the road ahead is, don't forget to enjoy the process."

Harry felt a lot lighter in his heart. He said gratefully, "Thank you, Professor. Your words made me understand a lot."

Professor McGonagall smiled and nodded. "Remember, Harry, no matter what challenges you face, the fun and meaning of magic lies in how you view and use it. Keep a curious and exploratory mind, and you will find more possibilities."

After leaving Professor McGonagall's office, Harry felt a new power surge in his heart. He decided to re-examine his research and practice, no longer just focusing on improving his strength, but enjoying every process of learning and exploration.

Harry strolled through the school corridors, feeling a long-lost sense of ease and joy. He met many familiar faces, and everyone welcomed and supported him. This made him feel a strong sense of belonging and encouragement.

One day, Harry met Hagrid on the lawn of Hogwarts. Hagrid was taking care of his magical creatures, and when he saw Harry, a happy smile appeared on his face.

"Harry, long time no see!" Hagrid greeted warmly.

"Hagrid," Harry responded with a smile, "I haven't been here for a while, and it's great to see you and all these magical creatures."

Hagrid patted a unicorn, his eyes full of love: "These creatures always make me happy and satisfied. They are part of the magical world and part of our lives."

Harry looked at these magical creatures and felt a warm feeling in his heart. He understood that magic is not only about power and responsibility, but also about the fun and beauty of life. He decided to take time out every day to explore and enjoy the fun of magic with his friends, instead of just pursuing power and solving problems. Harry began to arrange his time more balancedly. In addition to continuing to study strange energy and practicing energy guns, he also participated in various interesting magic activities with Hermione, Ron and other friends. They participated in Quidditch games together, explored the forbidden forest together, and shared new discoveries in the magic book together.

On a sunny afternoon, Harry and his friends held a small magic competition on the lawn of Hogwarts. Everyone showed off their magic skills to each other, and laughter filled the entire campus. Harry felt a long-lost sense of ease and happiness. He understood what Professor McGonagall said.

Hermione looked at Harry and smiled, "Harry, you look much more relaxed."

Harry nodded and said, "Yes, I have thought a lot about it. We have to learn to enjoy the process."

Ron raised his wand and said with a smile: "Then let's continue to enjoy this journey and face the challenges ahead together!"

After spending a pleasant afternoon with his friends on the lawn, Harry returned to the dormitory and prepared to continue studying his magic book and energy gun. He picked up the wand and wanted to cast a simple lighting spell, but found that the wand had no reaction. This made Harry feel uneasy, and he tried several different spells, but the result was the same.

"Hermione, Ron, come here!" Harry shouted anxiously.

Hermione and Ron heard the shouting and immediately ran into the dormitory. Seeing the wand in Harry's hand, Hermione immediately realized the seriousness of the problem.

"What's going on, Harry?" Hermione asked nervously.

"My wand stopped working," Harry said, frowning. "I tried several spells, but nothing worked."

Ron was also surprised: "This is not a good sign. The wand is the lifeline of a wizard. If something goes wrong with it, it means we can't perform magic."
