Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 405 Fight to the End

Harry walked over and read the text carefully. The description of the ritual was very detailed, but also full of danger and uncertainty. "We must find the specific location of this ritual and stop it from happening."

Hermione nodded. "According to the description in this book, the location of the ceremony is deep in the Forbidden Forest. We need to be fully prepared and then go there to investigate."

Ron felt a surge of nervousness. "It's very dangerous deep in the Forbidden Forest, but we have to go."

Harry gripped his wand tightly, his eyes gleaming with determination. "We will go together, Hermione, Ron. No matter how dangerous it is, we must stop this ritual."

They collected all kinds of necessary magic items and discussed the action plan with Professor McGonagall and other professors. Everyone in Hogwarts felt a tense atmosphere, but they also knew that they must unite to defeat the threat of dark magic.

One cold morning, Harry, Hermione and Ron finally set out for the Forbidden Forest. They passed through the dense forest and went deep into those unknown areas, feeling the danger and gloomy atmosphere around them. Harry's heart was full of determination, and he knew he had to stick to it, no matter how difficult the road ahead was.

Deep in the Forbidden Forest, they finally found a hidden cave, the entrance of which was covered with ancient runes and spells. Harry felt a little nervous, but he knew they had found their target.

"We must proceed with caution," Hermione whispered, her eyes flickering with caution. "These runes and spells are very powerful, we cannot enter rashly."

Harry nodded, "Hermione, can you break these spells?"

Hermione studied the runes carefully and cast several complex spells to break them. As she chanted, the runes at the entrance of the cave gradually disappeared and finally opened completely.

"Okay, Harry, we can go in," Hermione said, a hint of nervousness in her voice.

Harry held his wand tightly and led them into the cave. The cave was filled with a gloomy atmosphere, and the air was filled with strong black magic energy. They continued to move forward and finally found an ancient altar deep in the cave, on which were placed various magical instruments.

"This is where the ritual takes place," Hermione whispered, her eyes flickering with alarm. "We have to stop it."

Just then, they heard footsteps and several figures appeared at the entrance of the cave. Harry felt nervous and knew that the real battle was about to begin.

"We can't let them perform the ritual," Harry said firmly, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Hermione, Ron, prepare to fight!"

Harry Potter held his wand tightly, and the cave in front of him looked even more gloomy and dangerous in the darkness. Hermione and Ron stood on both sides of him, their faces full of tension and determination. Suddenly, the footsteps outside the cave became more rapid, and several figures approached quickly, obviously followers of the dark magic force.

"Prepare to fight!" Harry whispered, his heart filled with determination. They must protect the altar and stop the ritual of the Dark Arts.

A spell of light flashed in the cave, and the two sides quickly engaged in battle. Harry concentrated his mind and cast powerful defensive and offensive spells, engaging in a fierce confrontation with the enemy. He felt the magical energy surge in his body, and each spell was full of power.

The battle was extremely intense, with the air filled with magical sparks and energy. Hermione and Ron fought side by side, and their cooperation was perfect. Hermione quickly cast a binding spell to trap a dark magic follower, while Ron used a powerful spell to repel another enemy.

"We can't let them get close to the altar!" Harry shouted, continuing to cast spells to block the enemy's attack.

Just then, Harry suddenly heard a faint sound behind him. He turned around quickly and saw Professor Snape trying to leave the cave quietly. His face was pale and his eyes were flashing with complex emotions.

"Professor Snape! Where are you going?" Harry asked in surprise, his heart full of confusion and anxiety.

Snape stopped and turned to look at Harry, with a flash of anger and helplessness in his eyes. "Potter, I have to leave here. This battle is meaningless. We can't waste time here."

Harry was shocked. He couldn't understand Snape's behavior. "Professor, we can't give up! We must stop their ritual!"

Snape showed a hint of sneer on his face, "Potter, you are too naive. The outcome of this battle has already been determined. What we need is a more powerful force, not a meaningless sacrifice here."

Harry felt angry and confused. He couldn't accept Snape's indifference and evasion. "Professor, we can't just give up! We still have a chance!"

Snape's eyes flashed with mixed emotions, but he finally shook his head. "Potter, sometimes you have to learn to accept reality." He turned and quickly left the cave, disappearing into the darkness.

Harry felt lost and helpless, he knew that Snape's departure meant they had lost an important fighting force. But he also knew that he could not give up, he had to continue fighting to protect Hogwarts.

"Harry, come and help!" Hermione's voice interrupted Harry's thoughts, and he quickly returned to the battle, fighting alongside Hermione and Ron.

The battle lasted for a long time, and finally, the followers of the Dark Arts began to retreat. Harry felt a sense of exhaustion, but he knew that they had temporarily won the victory. They successfully protected the altar and stopped the ritual of the Dark Arts.

"We did it, Harry," Hermione panted, a look of relief on her face. "But what about Professor Snape? Why did he leave?"

Harry shook his head, confusion flashing in his eyes. "I don't know, Hermione. But we can't give up, we must continue to look for clues and uncover the truth about the dark magic forces."

Ron nodded and patted Harry on the shoulder. "We will keep going together, Harry. No matter how dangerous the road ahead is, we will face it together."

Their friendship and trust are the most powerful weapons, and no matter what difficulties they encounter, they will fight to the end together.

After returning to Hogwarts, Harry told Professor McGonagall about Snape's behavior. Professor McGonagall frowned and was obviously confused and worried about Snape's behavior.

"Harry, we must find Professor Snape and find out why he left," said Professor McGonagall, with a hint of determination in her tone. "We can't let anyone compromise the security of Hogwarts."
