Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 366 Start investigation
Hermione walked into the tower and saw Harry in deep thought. She walked up to him and asked softly, "Harry, you look tired. Has anything happened recently?"
Harry looked up and looked into Hermione's eyes full of concern, and felt a warm feeling in his heart. "I don't know, Hermione, I feel that my magic power is weakening recently, and it feels particularly difficult to do anything."
Hermione frowned, clearly worried about Harry as well. "Have you ever thought that this might be because of the book? The dark powers in it might have had an effect on you."
Harry nodded, vaguely suspecting the same thing. "Maybe, but I'm not sure. Is there any way you can find out why?"
"We could try some diagnostic spells," Hermione suggested. "It'll take time and effort though, so you'd better get as much rest as possible."
Harry sighed and rubbed his temple tiredly. "I know, but we don't have much time. I have to recover as soon as possible and continue to study ways to fight the Dark Arts."
Hermione held Harry's hand and said firmly, "Harry, we will find a way. You won't be alone. We will face it together."
The next morning, Harry and Hermione came to the hospital wing and found Madam Pomfrey. Harry told her about his condition, hoping to find some clues. Madam Pomfrey carefully checked Harry's magic flow and frowned.
"Harry, your magic is indeed a little disordered, as if it has been interfered with by some external force," said Madam Pomfrey. "This situation is very rare, and we need to investigate further."
Harry nodded, feeling a growing worry. "What should I do, ma'am?"
Madam Pomfrey thought for a moment and said, "You need to stop using a lot of magic for a while, and try to rest and recover your strength. In the meantime, we will do some tests to see if we can find the cause of the interference with your magic."
Although Harry felt frustrated, he knew that this was the best way at the moment. He agreed to Madam Pomfrey's advice to minimize the use of magic and focus on rest and recovery.
A few days later, Ron found Harry, his expression also full of worry. "Harry, how do you feel now?"
"Still a little weak, but a little better," Harry replied. "Madam Pomfrey said it would take time to recover."
Ron nodded and patted Harry on the shoulder. "We're going to get through this together, mate. No matter what happens, we'll support you."
Harry felt a warm feeling in his heart, knowing that he was not alone. With the support of his friends, his confidence gradually recovered. Although the road ahead was still full of unknown dangers, he believed that as long as everyone united as one, they would be able to overcome everything.
In the following days, Harry tried to reduce the use of magic as much as possible and focused on rest and recovery. He studied "Dark Origin" with Hermione and Ron every day. Although he could not perform magic himself, he could still provide a lot of useful suggestions and ideas.
One night, when Harry was discussing a complicated spell with Hermione, he suddenly felt a severe headache. He frowned, covered his head, felt his vision blurred, and the whole world was spinning.
"Harry, what's wrong with you?" Hermione asked nervously, quickly supporting him.
"I... I don't know, Hermione," Harry said miserably. "My head hurts and the world is spinning."
Hermione quickly cast a diagnostic spell and found that Harry's magic power was fluctuating abnormally. "Harry, your magic power seems to be forcibly extracted by some force!"
Harry felt a wave of fear, and a thousand thoughts raced through his mind. "Who is cursing me? And why?"
At this moment, Professor McGonagall hurried over. She had obviously heard the news as well. "Harry, Hermione, what happened?"
"Professor, Harry's magic has been interfered with by some external force. We need to find out the reason," Hermione said anxiously.
Professor McGonagall frowned and quickly cast several spells to try to find the source of the interference. Her expression became more and more serious, and it was obvious that the situation was much more complicated than expected.
"Harry, we need to find the source of the power that is interfering with you immediately," Professor McGonagall said, with a hint of urgency in her tone. "This situation cannot be delayed any longer, otherwise you may be in greater danger."
Harry gritted his teeth and tried to calm himself down. "Professor, I am willing to cooperate with you, no matter what needs to be done."
Professor McGonagall nodded. "We will start investigating right away, starting with all the objects and magic you have come into contact with recently, to find out what the problem is."
Over the next few days, Harry, his friends and professors began a comprehensive investigation, carefully examining every object and spell Harry had recently touched, trying to find the force that interfered with his magic.
Finally, they found a faint mark of dark magic on Harry's wand. This mark was very hidden and almost undetectable, but it was constantly draining Harry's magic power, causing him to gradually weaken.
"The mark is so subtle that it is almost unnoticeable," said Professor McGonagall, frowning. "We must remove it immediately."
Harry felt angry and helpless. Who had put this mark on him? He could hardly believe that he had been plotted against without knowing it.
"Professor, what should we do?" Harry asked, with a hint of urgency in his tone.
"We need to perform a complex ritual to completely purify your wand," said Professor McGonagall. "The process may be painful, but it is the only way."
Harry nodded, a firm look in his eyes. "I am willing to accept it, no matter how painful it is."
With the support of his friends, Harry began the purification ritual. The ritual was extremely complicated, and Harry felt the magic in his body being extracted and returned to his body after purification. The process was extremely painful, but Harry gritted his teeth and persevered.
When the last spell was completed, Harry felt a sense of relief, as if a heavy burden had been lifted from him, and he knew that his magic had finally returned to normal.
"Harry, you did it," Hermione said excitedly, tears in her eyes.
Harry smiled, feeling relieved. "Thank you, Hermione, Ron, Professor. I don't know what I would have done without you."
Professor McGonagall nodded, "Harry, you are a strong young man. Now, you need to rest and recover your strength."
Harry Potter lay quietly on the bed in the hospital wing, his body gradually regaining its magic power. He closed his eyes and felt the magic power flowing slowly in his body, like a warm river. He knew that he had to cheer up again, not only for himself, but also for the entire Hogwarts and his friends.
