Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 345 Secret Activities
Harry's heartbeat quickened as he realized the seriousness of the situation: "You're being controlled, Dean, this is not you!"
Dean's eyes became more frantic: "Control? No, I just discovered the real power! This power will change everything!"
At this moment, Ron and Hermione rushed over. Seeing the scene in front of them, they quickly drew their wands. Hermione shouted, "Dean, put down that book!"
Dean sneered: "You stupid guys don't understand what real power is!"
After that, he quickly chanted a spell and disappeared into the darkness. Harry, Hermione and Ron immediately felt a cold fear, and their hearts were filled with worry about the unknown.
"Where did he go?" Ron asked nervously.
Hermione's face turned pale. "He is controlled by some kind of dark magic. We must find him and stop him from doing something more terrible."
Harry's mind was in turmoil, but he knew now was not the time to be afraid: "We have to find Dean and stop him."
The three of them quickly left the dormitory and began to look for Dean in Hogwarts. Hogwarts, shrouded in the night, seemed unusually gloomy and quiet, as if everything was waiting for some unknown fate.
Harry was filled with self-blame and anxiety: "I should have been more careful and shouldn't have let Dean take the book."
Hermione patted Harry's shoulder gently: "This is not your fault, Harry. The most important thing now is to find Dean and protect him from the harm of the dark magic."
Ron clenched his wand: "No matter how dangerous the future is, we will face it together."
In a corner of the library, they found Dean. He was standing in front of an old bookshelf, holding the mysterious manuscript in his hand, and whispering some kind of spell. The air around him was filled with a strong smell of black magic, which made people feel suffocated.
"Dean, stop it!" Harry shouted, trying to wake Dean up.
But Dean's eyes were still wild, and he seemed to be completely unable to hear Harry's words. He continued to chant the spell, and the dark power gradually gathered around him, as if to devour everything.
Hermione quickly chanted a spell to dispel the magic, but the power of darkness was too strong to be easily eliminated. Ron tried to protect them with a defensive spell, but it was obviously unable to completely stop the invasion of dark magic.
Harry was filled with helplessness and despair, but he knew he couldn't give up. He had to find a way to stop Dean and protect Hogwarts at the same time.
At this moment, Harry suddenly remembered an ancient magic that Professor McGonagall had taught them, called "Mind Connection". This magic can temporarily enter the hearts of others and help them break free from control.
"Hermione, Ron, help me protect myself," Harry said firmly, "I have a plan."
Hermione and Ron quickly stood beside Harry and cast a powerful protective spell. Harry took a deep breath, concentrated his mind, and began to recite the "mind link" spell.
As the spell was recited, Harry felt himself enter a dark space, surrounded by silence. He knew he had entered the depths of Dean's heart.
In the darkness, Harry saw Dean. He looked very confused, with pain and helplessness in his eyes.
"Dean," Harry called softly, "listen to me, you have to wake up."
Dean's figure trembled slightly, as if he heard Harry's voice. He slowly raised his head, his eyes still full of madness: "Harry? Why are you here?"
Harry walked closer to him and said gently, "This is your inner world, and I am here to help you. You are controlled by the Dark Arts, and we must get rid of it together."
Dean's eyes flashed with clarity, but were soon swallowed by darkness again: "I feel an extremely powerful force that makes me unable to extricate myself."
Harry held Dean's hand firmly: "That's not power, that's darkness swallowing you. You have to believe in yourself and believe in us."
Dean's body trembled slightly. He struggled to break free from the control of the darkness. Finally, with the help of Harry, he gradually regained his sanity. The darkness around him began to dissipate, and Harry felt that he was returning to the real world.
When he opened his eyes, he saw Dean lying on the ground, with the book in his hand dropped. Hermione and Ron rushed over to check on Dean. Hermione breathed a sigh of relief: "He's fine, just temporarily unconscious."
Since rescuing Dean that night in the library, Harry's life has become more intense and busy. He spent a lot of time studying Cyrus Knox's manuscripts and practicing various defensive spells. However, as the pressure increased, Harry felt that his magic began to lose control.
One morning, Harry suddenly felt dizzy in the History of Magic class, and the words in front of him became blurred. He blinked hard, trying to concentrate, but to little effect. Hermione noticed his abnormality and asked with concern: "Harry, are you okay?"
Harry forced a smile: "I'm just a little tired, it's okay."
However, Harry knew in his heart that this was not just simple fatigue. He could feel the magic power in his body gradually dissipating and becoming difficult to control. The powerful feeling in the past seemed to be slowly moving away from him, which made him feel extremely panicked and helpless.
One night, Harry was discussing the next plan with Hermione and Ron in the common room. They were concentrating on a complex magic rune in the manuscript, when suddenly, Harry's wand began to tremble violently and emit a dazzling light. Harry panicked and clenched his wand, but the light became stronger and stronger, and finally dissipated with a burst.
Hermione and Ron were startled by this sudden change and rushed over to check on Harry. Hermione asked nervously, "Harry, what happened to your magic?"
Harry shook his head helplessly: "I don't know either. I always feel that my magic power is unstable recently. Sometimes I can't even cast magic normally."
Ron frowned: "This is not good. Cyrus Knox is still operating in secret, and your current state..."
Harry whispered, "I know, it worries me. But I can't stop, we have to find a solution."
After careful consideration, Hermione said, "Perhaps we should seek help from Dumbledore's portrait. Although he is gone, his wisdom may give us some guidance."
Harry nodded, a glimmer of hope rising in his heart, "Good idea, Hermione. We will go find Dumbledore's portrait tomorrow morning."
The next morning, Harry, Hermione and Ron came to the headmaster's office. Dumbledore's portrait hung on the wall, still with that familiar kind smile. Harry took a deep breath, walked up and said, "Professor Dumbledore, we need your help."
