Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin

Chapter 34: Bibi Multi-Flavor Beans: Swallow the Spicy! Dumbledore! How do you feel now?

Although what happens behind the trapdoor is a secret.

But the secrets of Hogwarts, like Hagrid's confidentiality, will always remain in a well-kept bottle - a wide-mouthed bottle.

Soon, the heroic deeds of Harry and his four companions behind the trapdoor spread like wildfire throughout the entire campus, and the students who had previously treated Harry and his companions coldly because they were deducted points for Gryffindor also regained their former enthusiasm.

However, a child's temper comes and goes quickly. Even if this incident had not happened, those friends who were good friends with Harry would not forget Mr. Potter, who was famous before he entered school.

Therefore, when Harry woke up in the infirmary, he was surprised to see a small mountain of candies and snacks in front of him.

"Ah, you're awake."

Harry turned around and saw Dudley lying on the bed doing bench presses with a barbell in his hand. Harry shuddered at the sight of the densely stacked weights.

"Where are we?"

Picking up the glasses beside him and putting them on, Harry looked at the twisted frames with some heartache. After all, this was the first gift Uncle Vernon gave him - although it was given to him under the threat of Dudley.

"Madam Pomfrey's ward, Harry."

A gentle and old voice came from inside, and Harry was startled. It was indeed Dumbledore, who was walking slowly to his bedside with a kind and comforting smile.

Harry subconsciously reached into his pocket, but the Philosopher's Stone had disappeared.

"Sir! The Philosopher's Stone...Did you take the Philosopher's Stone?"

Having witnessed the scene of Quirrell being burned and weathered, Harry did not doubt his eyes.

"Of course, as for the Philosopher's Stone, it has been destroyed."

"But your friend Nicolas Flamel..."

Dumbledore nodded with satisfaction, with a rare joy in his words.

"You actually know Nico? It seems that you know this matter very well."

"Nico and I talked about it, and we agreed that this was the best approach."

The old and the young had a pleasant conversation, but Harry wanted to interrupt Dumbledore several times to tell him that it was his cousin who suppressed Quirrell, which enabled him to successfully destroy Voldemort.

However, Dumbledore seemed to know what he meant and did not give him such an opportunity.

What's more, there are countless questions waiting for him to answer for Harry.

Thinking of this, Dumbledore couldn't help but turn his head and look at Dudley who was exercising breathlessly.

Let’s go back to when Quirrell was eliminated, or a little later.

In Dumbledore's office, Professor McGonagall and Headmaster Dumbledore looked in astonishment at Dudley, who was sitting in a chair, leisurely drinking mead.

"Dear Dursley, was all this what you expected?"

Dumbledore sat down slowly, took out a lemon snowball from the jar and put it in his mouth.

"Coincidence, complete coincidence."

"Who would have thought that Professor Quirrell, whom we have always ignored, would be a minion of the Dark Lord?"

"But from this point of view, I have to criticize your vision, dear Mr. Dumbledore."

Dumbledore blushed, which was rare, but his big white beard hid his actual expression.

"Dudley Dursley, even though you are Harry's protector, you can't be so rude to the headmaster!"

Professor McGonagall cleared her throat and Dudley shrank his head tactfully. He had no way to deal with such a strict dean of studies.

"Minerva, it's okay. I think what Dudley said makes sense."

"This just shows that the Dark Lord and his followers are regrouping and preparing to continue disrupting the order of the wizarding world."

"If Dudley hadn't been here, I'm afraid the kids would have been wiped out at the chess level."

Dumbledore and McGonagall couldn't help but nod secretly when they thought that the chessboard that was almost in a dead end could be reversed by Ron's miraculous moves. Who would have thought that Ron, who looked reckless and honest, had an extraordinary talent in playing chess?

In fact, Dudley was also dissatisfied with all the situations he encountered.

Whether it was Lou Williams who was stuffed with cotton in advance, or the incomplete chessboard, it fully proved that because of their own participation, irreversible changes had taken place in certain details of the world line.

If he had not participated, Harry and others who did not bring their musical instruments might have died at the hands of Lu Wei.

Without his own sacrifice - or beating, Ron would certainly not have been able to avoid the White Queen's venting attack. As a result, the savior's iron triangle lineup was left with only a lone commander before defeating the first boss.

This is still the simplest Philosopher's Stone. What if it is a Chamber of Secrets?

What if it was the practical Auror, Mad-Eye Moody disguised by Barty Jr.?

Dudley now finally understood that even if he could give spoilers, what would happen in the future would never develop according to the rules as in the script. In the future, there would even be huge changes like the butterfly effect.

Thinking of this, the sense of accomplishment from beating up Voldemort disappeared, and Dudley's expression became somewhat dejected.

"Dudley, are you wondering how you are going to keep Harry safe if Voldemort returns?"

Dumbledore spoke, interrupting Dudley's emo time. Dudley looked up, his wise eyes, flashing with a glimmer of wisdom, looking deeply at himself.

"Yes."

Dudley put away the flagon and sighed.

“What is happening now has exceeded my expectations.”

"If in the future Voldemort adopts more complex means, or directly attacks Hogwarts students outside the campus, I can hardly imagine how serious the future situation will be."

Dumbledore and McGonagall sighed in unison.

"The Dark Lord is indeed the most difficult existence."

"To be honest, I really couldn't imagine that he would possess Quirrell's body and sneak into the Hogwarts campus."

"If Severus hadn't been holding him back, I'm afraid Voldemort's body would have been reshaped before the Philosopher's Stone was protected."

After Dudley's explanation, Minerva understood why Harry and the others often used "unsubstantiated" evidence against Snape.

"Thank you anyway, Mr. Dursley."

"You saved Harry, and you saved Hogwarts."

Dumbledore slowly stood up and bowed to Dudley, who quickly jumped up and supported Dumbledore.

"Well, is it not too much for me to ask for a small thing?"

Looking at Dudley's cunning eyes, Dumbledore and McGonagall both nodded.

Loyal warriors deserve to be rewarded and protected.

So, Dudley, wearing a brand new set of equipment and full of energy, went to Madam Pomfrey's infirmary.

Dumbledore was picking up a "toffee flavored" bean. A moment later, amid Harry's laughter, Dumbledore spat it out in disgust.

"Damn, it tastes like earwax again!"

The infirmary was filled with a cheerful atmosphere.
