Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 194 Looking out the window with blurred eyes
Suddenly, my aunt noticed that the old man was holding a piece of paper tightly in his hand. She carefully reached out to take the paper, unfolded it, and saw a few lines of scribbled words on it.
"Jack, we have found your trail. You know we won't let you go. Stop it, or your fate will be worse than you can imagine."
My aunt frowned, and a bad feeling welled up in her heart. She understood the significance of this news, the old man was probably sent by an organization to carry out a mission, and now he has failed.
"What does this mean?" my aunt said to herself, with a hint of doubt and worry in her voice. "Who is Jack? Why did he come to me?"
The black wolf stood quietly by, with a trace of vigilance and uneasiness in his eyes. He knew that things might be more complicated than they seemed, and the most important thing now was to protect his aunt and Dudley and get out of this danger as soon as possible.
My aunt put the note in her pocket and decided not to think about this problem for the time being. She had to deal with the situation at hand first. She checked the old man's injuries again and confirmed that he had completely lost his life.
"We have to get out of here," my aunt said, with a hint of nervousness and anxiety in her voice. "We can't stay here any longer, or more people might come looking for us."
The black wolf nodded, indicating that he agreed with his aunt's opinion. He knew that the current situation was very dangerous and he had to leave here as soon as possible and find a safe place to hide.
So, Auntie and Black Wolf quickly packed up their things and prepared to leave this dangerous place. Auntie held Dudley Dursley carefully in her arms, while Black Wolf stood by her side alertly, ready to fight any possible threats at any time.
They walked out of the room quietly, carefully avoiding possible observers. Before leaving, my aunt threw down a note that said "Thank you for your help and have a safe journey." She knew that this news might cause some commotion, but she couldn't stay and had to leave this dangerous place as soon as possible.
After leaving the house, my aunt and Black Wolf hurriedly crossed several streets and came to a quiet alley. There were few people here, which was suitable for hiding their identities and temporarily avoiding pursuit.
"We should find a safe place to rest first," said my aunt, with a trace of fatigue and anxiety on her face. "I need to find out what happened and why that person came to our house."
The black wolf nodded, indicating that he agreed with his aunt's suggestion. He knew that his aunt needed time to think and calm down, and the most important thing now was to protect her safety.
The aunt found an abandoned hut, which was empty but could provide some temporary shelter. She opened the door, motioned Black Wolf to go in, and followed him in.
The room was dark and damp, and the floor was covered with dust and cobwebs. My aunt looked for a place to sit down while paying attention to Black Wolf's reaction.
The black wolf looked around, sniffed the air, and then curled up in a corner, vigilantly guarding the safety of the surroundings. It knew that it had to stay alert at this time to prevent any unexpected situations.
"It doesn't look very comfortable here," said my aunt, taking out a piece of cloth and spreading it on the ground to make a simple bed. "But at least it can give us a rest for a while."
Auntie placed Dudley Dursley carefully on the cloth, then sat down and began to think about what had just happened.
"Why did that man come to see me?" Auntie said to herself, with a hint of confusion on her face. "I have never seen him and I don't know who he is."
When the black wolf heard what my aunt said, he looked up, with a hint of doubt and worry in his eyes. He knew that my aunt was a kind and upright person who never caused trouble, but why would someone want to hurt her for no reason?
"Maybe he was sent?" Auntie speculated, trying to come up with a reasonable explanation. "But why would anyone send someone to me? I haven't done anything wrong."
The black wolf listened quietly, with a glimmer of thought and understanding in his eyes. He knew that his aunt needed time to think and calm down, and the most important thing now was to protect her safety and get out of this dangerous situation as soon as possible.
Suddenly, my aunt noticed an uneven stone on the ground with some words engraved on it. She bent down curiously and looked at the words carefully.
"What is this?" Auntie asked in surprise. She looked at the stone on the ground, on which there was a line of blurred writing. "It looks like a message."
My aunt bent down and looked carefully at the stone on the ground, trying to make out the words on it. The black wolf followed, putting its nose to the ground and sniffing the stone.
"It looks like an ancient text," said my aunt, trying to decipher the writing. "But I can't see it clearly and I don't know what it means."
The black wolf lowered its head and sniffed the stone, then raised its head with a hint of doubt and curiosity in its eyes. It didn't know where the stone came from, or what the words engraved on it meant.
My aunt frowned. She knew that this stone must not have appeared here for no reason, and it might have some hidden meaning. But now she couldn't understand the meaning of these words, so she could only put it aside for the time being and deal with the situation at hand first.
"We don't have to worry about that for now," said my aunt, standing up and looking out the window. "The most important thing for us now is to protect ourselves and find a safe place to avoid being hunted down."
My aunt sat on the floor, looking out the window with a dazed look, her mind full of questions and uneasiness, unable to let go of what had just happened.
"Dudley, why are you hurt?" she whispered to herself, with a hint of resentment in her voice. "Is all this related to our past?"
The black wolf curled up quietly in the corner, staring at his aunt, as if he understood her doubts. He knew that his aunt was full of doubts and anxiety, but now was not the time to think. The most important thing was to protect himself and Dudley and get rid of the danger as soon as possible.
Suddenly, her aunt's eyes fell on Dudley, and she noticed that his injuries did not seem as simple as they seemed. Although Dudley did not bleed, his breathing was unusually unstable, his face was pale, and fine beads of sweat oozed from his forehead.
"Dudley, what's wrong with you?" Auntie gently shook Dudley's shoulders, trying to wake him up. "Why don't you wake up?"
