Hogwarts: The Savior's Strong Cousin
Chapter 132 Live for Her
After Harry Potter and his friends repelled the white walkers, they did not relax their vigilance, but looked around more vigilantly, because they knew that even if the white walkers had been defeated, there were still endless dangers hidden in this land.
"We have to be careful, there may be other evil beings in this land." Harry warned, his eyes scanning the dark woods for any possible threats.
"Yes, the white ghosts may be just part of the evil in this land." Xiaobai nodded in agreement, her ears erect, listening alertly to the sounds around her.
"We must remain vigilant and not put ourselves in a passive position." Kai said, his body emitting a cold aura that was consistent with his identity as a ninja.
"My Lord, please be fair!" The night watchman knelt on the ground and asked Harry for a fair judgment. "I am just carrying out my mission. I am absolutely not engaging in any espionage."
Harry looked at the night watchman and felt his sincerity and frankness. He knew that the night watchman was not a spy. So he turned to the soldiers and said, "You have wronged him. Let him go."
The soldiers heard Harry's order and dared not disobey, and immediately released the night watchman. The night watchman knelt on the ground gratefully and thanked Harry and his friends.
"I will tell the people of the city about your kindness and justice!" the night watchman said excitedly, his voice full of gratitude and admiration.
Outside the Wall, the night is as dark as ink, and stars twinkle on the dark sky. In this desolate land, the Wall is like an indestructible barrier, separating darkness from light. And at the edge of this darkness, there stands a group of night watchmen, whose duty is to guard the Wall and prevent any threats from approaching.
One of the night watchmen, named Adam, wore a heavy cloak, held a spear, and looked around vigilantly. Although he knew that there were endless dangers hidden in this land, he did not retreat at all, because this was his duty and his commitment to his homeland.
"Adam, do you think anything unusual will happen tonight?" a young night watchman asked quietly, his eyes full of anxiety and worry.
“It’s hard to say, but we must remain vigilant.” Adam replied seriously, his voice revealing firmness and determination. “It is our duty to protect this land and not let any threat escape.”
At this moment, a cold wind blew, and a faint wailing sound came from the woods, which was creepy. Adam and his companions immediately became alert, knowing that there might be uninvited guests lurking in the darkness.
Suddenly, a pale figure flashed out from the woods and rushed towards them as fast as lightning. Adam and his companions reacted quickly, raising their weapons to prepare for this sudden threat.
"It's the White Ghost!" someone exclaimed, their hearts sank, knowing that this would be a tough battle.
Adam brandished his spear and faced the pale figure, his eyes flashing with determination. The other night watchmen also used their own skills and magic to fight fiercely with the white ghost.
The moment Dumbledore stood on the top of the mountain, his heart seemed to fall into an abyss. The scene before him solidified into a horrifying picture, the loose rock and Minerva falling from the edge of the cliff, constantly reappearing in his mind.
The wind whistled, blowing his clothes and ruffling his long hair, but Dumbledore's heart was filled with silence and despair.
"Minerva!" His voice echoed off the mountain and was swallowed by the wind. He knew that shouting would not bring her back, but he could not accept that.
The sound of the falling stones still echoed in his ears, as if mocking the mistakes he had made. Dumbledore knelt on the ground, digging his fingers into the soil as if trying to find something, but he knew in his heart that it was too late.
After a while, he slowly stood up. His eyes were empty, as if he had lost his soul. He couldn't face his responsibilities and pain, but he knew he had to move on.
Dumbledore began to walk down the mountain road slowly, his steps seemed heavy and tired. The wind in the mountains gradually became gentler, and the sun shone through the clouds, casting golden light on his weathered face.
Back in Winterfell, Dumbledore found himself a stranger. He tried to hide his pain, but every time he closed his eyes, he could see Minerva falling.
As night fell, Winterfell was shrouded in silence. Dumbledore sat alone in his room, his heart seemed to be locked in darkness, unable to escape.
Suddenly, he heard a knock on the door. Dumbledore looked up and his eyes fell on the door. A deep voice came from the other side.
"Dumbledore, may you come in?" It was Harry Potter's voice.
Dumbledore was stunned for a moment, then nodded. Harry Potter opened the door and walked in, his eyes full of concern and worry.
"I heard about what happened on the mountain," Harry Potter paused, "I'm sorry."
Dumbledore was silent for a moment, then he said softly, "It was my fault. I should have stopped her, but I didn't."
Harry Potter walked to Dumbledore and sat down quietly. He knew that what Dumbledore needed at the moment was not blame, but understanding and comfort.
"There are some things we cannot predict and control," Harry Potter said softly, "but what we can do is face our mistakes and work hard to change the future."
Dumbledore looked up, a glimmer of hope gradually appearing in his eyes.
"Minerva is a good child, and she will always be in our hearts." Harry Potter continued, "Now all we have to do is move on and live for her."
Dumbledore nodded silently, feeling Harry Potter's support and encouragement.
Flames and frost intertwined in the air, flashing dazzling light. Adam's spear drew silver-white light and stabbed at the figure of the white ghost. His companions also fought bravely, cooperating tacitly, and besieged the white ghost in the middle.
However, the white ghost is not so easy to deal with. It releases dark energy and tries to devour everyone. Adam and his companions continue to wield their weapons, releasing powerful forces, and fight a life-and-death battle with the white ghost.
"We can't give up!" Adam shouted loudly, his voice full of courage and determination, "We are the Night Watchmen, and our mission is to protect this land!"
Following Adam's shouts, the other Night Watchmen also stepped up their offensive. Their strength combined into a powerful force that forced the White Walkers into a desperate situation.
