Genshin Impact: I attack as Kevin
Chapter 101 Peruvian's Dream
Kevin slowly opened his eyes and found himself in a pitch-black space.
After several experiences, he realized that he had come to the mysterious space where the Skyfire Greatsword was again.
"That's strange. Where's the Grass God? Isn't she calling me?"
Kevin looked around and saw no one.
Just when he was full of questions, he caught a glimpse of the Skyfire Sword out of the corner of his eye.
What surprised him was that the originally broken Skyfire Sword had repaired itself to the point where half of the blade could be seen.
"Could it be that the Skyfire Great Sword has a self-repair function? Great! At this rate, it won't take long to repair itself."
This news was rare good news for Kevin, who had been feeling very unlucky recently, and he felt very relieved about it.
It would be great if Peruvian didn't reopen the festival in anger tomorrow after learning that I had escaped.
Of course, he had little hope for this, and he felt that he had to find another way in the end.
He had two ideas in his mind. One was to contact Fontaine, a character who possessed the Eye of God, to speed up the repair progress of the Skyfire Greatsword so that he could maintain a certain level of combat effectiveness.
After careful consideration, he shook his head and thought this method was unreliable.
The Eye of God is a person's external elemental magic organ. How can I borrow it within a day? It's even more unreliable than asking those characters for help directly!
After much thought, the most feasible option is to ask Funina for help. The question is how to convince her to help without revealing the plot?
Kevin knew that being in this space was almost like dreaming and would have little impact on his sleep quality, so he simply sat on the ground and began to think hard.
The next morning, before dawn, the sky was still shrouded in a hazy glow.
Peruvian slowly sat up, recalling the strange dream she had last night.
In her dream, she was walking in the desolate wilderness as usual.
Countless afterimages rushed towards her like a tide, screaming, wailing and cursing intertwined.
Up to this point, she was used to it.
However, the red moon in the sky has undergone amazing changes today.
It suddenly transformed into a large sword of a unique shape and flew in front of her at an astonishing speed.
Then, a blazing fire ignited around her, protecting her.
Once those afterimages that try to get closer touch the flames, the flames will attach to their bodies and burn until they disappear without a trace.
At first, Peruvian thought that the greatsword was an illusion of her own ability, but she soon discovered that there was a subtle difference between the greatsword and her flame.
The afterimages that were burned by the flames all revealed relieved smiles, as if they had been liberated.
Miraculously, green flowers grew on the land that was set on fire.
Only then did she understand that this greatsword not only possessed the power of destruction like her flame, but also contained the magical ability of creation.
Just as she was approaching the sword step by step and trying to pick it up, a strong shock of consciousness hit her.
She suddenly opened her eyes and woke up from her dream.
This was the first time she had had such a dream in all her years at Hearth House.
She always felt that this was not just a dream, but more like some kind of obscure foreshadowing or sign.
If she could find the mysterious sword, she might be able to greatly increase her chances of killing her mother.
Unfortunately, she also understood that this idea was simply a fantasy. The big sword in her dream actually had two properties at the same time.
If such a rare weapon really existed, it would be impossible that it has no owner until now.
After all, the objects in dreams cannot be taken seriously. Peruvian shook her head gently to wake herself up from the daze.
She silently gazed at Kevin who was still sleeping beside her and sighed softly. It was time to prepare to say goodbye.
When the first ray of sunlight in the morning came through the window and gently fell on Kevin's face, he subconsciously rubbed his sleepy eyes and slowly opened them.
"are you awake?"
The familiar yet cold voice of Peruvian came to my ears.
Kevin nodded and quickly got up from the bed.
"Sister Peruvian, are we leaving now?"
"Yes, mother has left, and now is the best time to leave."
Kujavina moved so quickly? Kevin was surprised. He looked out the window. The sky was only about seven in the morning.
"Won't others stop me?"
Kevin asked.
"No, mother didn't give them any orders, so they won't do anything unnecessary."
I see. It seems that Kugavina trusts him very much.
But if you think about it carefully, normally, who would run away right after getting married?
Kevin picked up the bag on the table and found that it was heavier than yesterday.
He knew without even opening it that Perewilli had put something in it again.
"Thank you, Sister Peruvian."
Kevin said sincerely.
"Needless to say, your kindness to Krewei is far from being repaid with this little thing."
"Leave with me first. The later it is, the higher the chance that mother will come back."
Perewilli opened the door and motioned for Kevin to follow.
Kevin took a step forward without hesitation and followed closely behind her.
Even though he knew that Kugavina would not be able to come back in a short time, it was not so easy to meet Villette.
But it was meaningless for him to stay on the boat, so he might as well go to Furninna for help as soon as possible.
He knew nothing about Fontaine at this time, and the ideas in his mind last night might not actually be useful.
He needed enough time to understand Funina's current situation and develop a coping strategy.
Along the way, they met many members of the Hearth House, some of whom tried to come forward and communicate with Kevin.
But Peruvian cast a warning look at him, causing all members to retreat consciously.
Kevin felt in his heart: Peruvian's authority and influence were established in the Hearth House very early on, and he is indeed the most suitable person to be a strict father.
After Peruvian took Kevin away from the boat, he stopped and said with a serious expression,
"You will have to walk the rest of the way by yourself, so be careful."
"Well, Sister Peruvian, you can go back. I'm not a child anymore. It's okay."
Kevin smiled slightly, turned around and set off for Fontaine.
Peruvian was stunned. It turned out that Kevin was really just a child. Adults would not deliberately emphasize such things.
She had previously suspected that Kevin was older than he looked, but now it seemed that he was just more precocious than the other children.
Peruvian struggled for a while, but finally mustered up the courage and shouted calmly,
"Next time we meet, I'll let you choose your favorite dress and wear it yourself!"
