Chapter 163 Rock Crack Canyon

Charles flew very fast and arrived at a forest on the outskirts of the Rock Crack Canyon early the next morning.

Colin did not move closer, but stopped.

"Griphook, can you still get in?"

"Lord Colin, it shouldn't be a big problem. Most of the tribes in this area are concentrated here in the Rock Crack Canyon. Many people don't know each other. I'm a local goblin, so no one will suspect me."

"Well, it's almost daytime, so it's not convenient for me to get close. You go in first and find out the situation. I'll wait for you here. Come over in the evening and we'll meet." Colin ordered.

"I understand, Lord Colin, don't worry." After saying that, Griphook rushed to the camp in the rock canyon.

Colin watched Griphook quietly from behind. If this kid could really get detailed information, it wouldn't be impossible to give him some benefits later. It all depended on how much value he could bring.

In order to reduce the risk of exposure, Colin and Connie applied a little trick of light refraction to themselves, so that even if natives from the plane passed by, they would not be easily discovered, thus reducing some unnecessary trouble.

Of course, Colin did not rely entirely on the pull ring. He thought of going over and investigating on his own at night.

Griphook had no idea what Colin was thinking behind this. He was more concerned about how much accurate information he could obtain this time so that he could provide it to his new master.

Because of Griphook Goblin's identity, no one at the canyon camp questioned him. There were many natives from other planes coming in and out these days, and no one cared what others were doing because they would eventually gather together to attack the base of the alien.

After entering the camp, Griphook looked around and began to purposefully observe the number of giant acacia trees, the wasp nests on the trees, and the warriors of each goblin race.

After half a day, because of careful observation, Griphook had not yet walked through half of the canyon. When he was about to speed up to the next goblin gathering place, he met the former wasp female leader of their tribe.

"Huh? Goblin in front, stop. I seem to have seen you there." The wasp female leader thought that the goblins were all the same. Except for the patriarchs of each tribe, who needed to be remembered, she really couldn't remember the other goblins.

However, Lahuan had followed the female commander closely for some days, and this time he was unfortunately recognized.

"Ah? It's the commander, you called me?" Lahuan was a little panicked, but he was in the canyon camp and couldn't hide at all. However, he quickly calmed down and thought that it was no big deal to encounter her, and she didn't know that she had surrendered.

"Well, I seemed to have seen your tribe a few days ago, but why haven't I seen them in recent days? Have they moved to the back?"

"Uh... well, yes, sir, you know that our tribe has suffered too much loss, and the chief wants to reduce the losses."

"The entire plane is fighting desperately to resist the alien race, and your tribe is actually thinking of retreating?" The commander spoke in a high tone, scolding Griphook.

"Sir, I will go back and tell the clan leader right away. I will definitely criticize him for being short-sighted and not understanding the overall situation. We will move back immediately." Lahuan said flatteringly.

"Hmph! You'd better be smart. If you try to desert again and I find out, I will capture your entire tribe and take them into the hive to make snacks." After saying that, the Wasp Leader turned around and flew away.

Phew! I finally passed the test.

Griphook was really afraid that the wasp leader would follow him to find his tribe, which would expose her secret. Fortunately, she didn't take it too seriously and escaped.

In later observations, the pull ring was not so detailed. After all, time was limited and we had to go out of the camp and report to the adults in the evening.

As it was getting dark, Lahhuan finally walked through the entire canyon and obtained the latest combat power intelligence.

Then, while the others were having dinner, Griphook slipped out of the camp and headed for Colin's hiding place.

Griphook's whereabouts were hidden from everyone except one person, the wasp female leader.

She didn't notice anything unusual when she talked with Lahhuan in the morning, but after they separated, the more she thought about it, the more she felt something was wrong. The gathering places of the various ethnic groups in the camp were arranged according to the order of entering the camp, and there was no such thing as replacement. Even if there were vacant places behind the canyon camp, Lahhuan and his ethnic group could not occupy them casually.

However, because they had been separated for some time, she did not see any trace of Pull the Ring and did not know where he had gone.

I thought that even if there was something wrong, we were still in the canyon camp, so I didn't pay much attention to it.

But at dinner time, by coincidence, she found Griphook again and sneaked out of the camp.

This aroused the curiosity of the female commander. What was this guy doing going outside without eating?

As the leader who had suppressed the Lahku tribe for ten years, she was not stupid at all. She did not let Lahku discover her, but kept a distance and followed slowly.

……

It was finally dark, and Griphook trotted all the way towards the woods where Colin was hiding. The woods had already appeared in Griphook's sight. He was a little tired, and gradually began to slow down his pace.

The Wasp Leader behind was not discovered by Griphook. Although she was curious about what this guy was doing in the woods ahead, she did not stand out, but continued to follow Griphook to see what was going on.

"Sir, Sir Colin." Griphook arrived at the place where he separated from Colin in the early morning. When he couldn't find Colin, he called out in a low voice.

"Colin? Who is that? Why is he here?" The Wasp Commander behind heard Griphook's call and was thinking in his mind.

"Stop shouting and come here." Colin and Connie revealed their bodies.

Although it was already dark, Griphook could still vaguely confirm that it was Lord Colin. He took a few quick steps, trying to get in front of Colin.

The wasp leader behind him now understood that this kid had betrayed his tribe and his plane. He didn't know how much information he had learned in just one day. No, I have to stop him.

Thinking of this, the Wasp Leader immediately fired his spikes, trying to kill Pullring.

However, what she didn't expect was that if she stayed still, Colin and Connie might take a while to find her, but as soon as she moved, she was immediately discovered by Colin and Connie.

The spikes she fired were very fast, but no matter how fast they were, they were not as fast as the reaction of a first-level creature. Colin and Connie's defensive spells were released at the same time and superimposed on the back of Griphook.

When the Wasp Leader saw that the stinger had no effect on the defensive spell, she no longer cared about pulling the ring and just wanted to escape back quickly and report her discovery.

But she still underestimated the reaction speed of the two first-level wizards. Connie's wind blade and Colin's fireball pounced on her at the same time like two ferocious hounds.

She managed to dodge Colin's fireball with great difficulty, but Connie's wind blade was like a sharp sickle, ruthlessly cutting off one of her wings. Although she could still fly, her flying balance had been broken, and her flying speed had to be reduced helplessly.
